Hiring for Weekend Shifts and on call during the week. Weekend shifts are 7am-7pm or 7pm- 7am Saturday and Sunday. Job Summary: Provide security detail as outlined in the post orders and establish working relationships with customers, local law enforcement and fire departments. Security personnel will always perform job duties with a constant awareness of surroundings, making note of all activity that takes place in the assigned area. Security Officers must maintain a professional image and always demonstrate excellent customer service.
Basic Functions:
Control of entrances and movement of pedestrian and vehicle traffic.
Patrol of buildings and perimeters.
Escort of material and personnel.
Inspection of security and fire exposures.
Special assignments.
Responsibilities:

Be on time and report to post in full uniform.
Maintain professional image that includes greeting customers, visitors and employees in a polite and friendly manner.
Be proactive in knowing all revisions to post orders and general information distributed by the customer and AFS.
Patrol physical property or maintain fixed post position, being diligent to report any suspicious activity and investigate accidents and criminal acts.
Monitor cameras or equipment in a continuous fashion as outlined in the post orders.
Maintain a working knowledge of all emergency policies, procedures and regulations to be able to respond to alarms, incidents and emergency situations.
Complete Daily Activity Reports, Log Book entries, Incident Reports and all relevant reports related to job assignment.
Make recommendations to management on better safety and loss prevention processes as identified during daily routine.
Have knowledge of any life safety systems, fire panels, CCTV system computer, and other such equipment to complete job assignments. Ensure continuous and safe operation of all elevators and access doors. Know authorized contractor personnel who are responsible for maintenance and upkeep of equipment.
Ensure training and compliance guidelines are met as outlined by AFS and other agencies regulating the customer / market.
Communicate on a daily basis with Security Supervisor any new Security Issues or changes that need to be considered or implemented.

As a Deportation Officer (Reemployed Annuitant), you will perform the following duties:
* Performing law enforcement duties to investigate, identify, locate, arrest, detain, prosecute, and remove foreign nationals who pose a threat to national security and public safety; conducting complex investigations, executing arrests, preparing cases for prosecution, and managing the detention and removal of non-citizens in the U.S. by working with foreign, federal, state, and local law enforcement agencies.
* Identifying violators of immigration laws through the use of complex investigative methods and techniques as well as determining citizenship, to include gathering facts and evidence pertaining to non-citizens that pose a threat to national security and/or public safety.
* Conducting custody determinations regarding the detention of non-citizens in accordance with constitutional law, federal statutes, regulations and policies; coordinating and negotiating with domestic and foreign law enforcement agencies to manage the detention and removal of non-citizens in the U.S.; and sharing compiled actionable intelligence information with law enforcement intelligence communities.
* Interviewing witnesses and interrogating suspects to gather critical information and evidence; obtaining and serving criminal and civil warrants of arrest; serving as agency lead on interagency, federal, state, and local law enforcement task forces to address threats to national security or public safety, as well as processing, detaining, and transporting non-citizens throughout the legal process.

Qualifications
Dual Compensation Off-Set Waiver for Deportation Officer Approved for Rehires: This announcement is being used to recruit CSRS and FERS annuitants on a limited basis with a waiver of salary offset (if a dual compensation waiver is requested) under certain specified circumstances not to exceed 6/30/2028 excluding annuitants with early voluntary and buyout retirements.
Annuitants who are reemployed with a salary offset (dual compensation) waiver are eligible for:
* Full annuity and full Federal salary.
* Annual and sick leave (not applicable for an intermittent work schedule)
* Full-time work schedules.
* Receive overtime (on a full schedule). Overtime hours are counted towards maximum hour limitations.
* Administratively Uncontrollable Overtime (AUO).

You qualify for the GS-12 grade level if you possess one (1) year of specialized experience, in at least THREE (3) of the following major categories equivalent to the GS-11 grade level in the Federal service such as:
* Investigate: Reviewing evidence and documentation, analyzing trends, viewing records and/or concerning evidence and other barriers that complicate a case, establishing the interrelationships of facts and evidence; preparing criminal and civil complaints, requesting records, preparing and issuing subpoenas, and taking witness statements.
* Identify and Locate: Identifying and locating non-citizens who pose a threat to national security and public safety, using actionable intelligence developed through human sources such as detainee population, general public, open sources, and law enforcement contacts; Using a broad range of technologies including biometric software and high speed surveillance systems.
* Arrest: Interviewing witnesses and interrogating suspects, obtaining and serving criminal and civil warrants of arrest for those individuals located in the U.S. which may include use of various levels of force (e.g., deadly force), and initiating deportation and/or criminal proceedings regardless of whether or not the individual is in the custody of another LEA.
* Custody: Conducting legal research to support custody decisions regarding the detention of non-citizens in federal court actions, to include writs of habeas corpus and mandamus petitions and assisting ICE trial attorneys and U.S. attorneys in representing the government in court actions; making recommendations for custody determinations regarding the detention of non-citizens.
* Prosecute: Reviewing cases for legal sufficiency and making recommendations regarding whether they meet the elements of a federal crime and/or administrative violations and the prosecutorial guidelines of the U.S. Attorney's Office (USAO); maintaining security of restricted and classified materials; preparing criminal complaints through affidavits, development of facts, and gathering of evidence to support prosecution.
* Deportation: Reviewing cases for legal sufficiency to identify and process for removal, violators of federal immigration laws who meet agency prosecutorial guidelines; presenting cases for civil deportation proceedings including those to federal attorneys; recommending custody conditions and preparing formal detailed documentation for the purpose of adjudication and responding to applications for immigration benefits or relief, including bonds, parole, voluntary departure, stays of removal, and deferred action.
* Partnering: Adhering to any mandatory legal, regulatory or policy requirements under international treaties and agreements regarding consular notification and access; collecting, evaluating and reporting information based on national intelligence collection requirements to include those related to national security, such as terrorism and proliferation of weapons and technology, the president's strategy to combat transnational organized crime, and illegal trafficking of weapons, persons, drugs, and money.

Completion of Training: You must have successfully completed Basic Immigration Law Enforcement Training in accordance with 8 CFR 287.1(g) and other applicable agency policy. Deportation Officer Transition Program (DOTP). Selectees who have not previously held a position as a Deportation Officer, Detention and Deportation Officer, Supervisory Deportation Officer, or Supervisory Detention and Deportation Officer and have not previously attended the six-week DOTP will be required to do so after entrance on duty. Successful completion of this course is mandatory per agency policy. Failure to successfully complete the academy will result in your removal from this position.
Physical Fitness Testing (PFT): Physical Fitness Test (PFT) may be administered. A passing score is required. Administratively Uncontrollable Overtime (AUO): This position may require substantial amounts of irregular or occasional overtime. To compensate you for this irregular and occasional overtime, you may receive premium pay in the form of Administratively Uncontrollable Overtime (AUO). AUO is currently authorized for this position. Work Conditions: This job requires considerable and strenuous physical exertion. Completes a minimum of 2 Interior and Exterior Security Perimeter Checks at their assigned YRS Site per shift. Each of these Interior and Exterior Security Perimeter Checks will include a thorough review of all vehicles to ensure they are locked and have not been tampered with in any way since the time of the last Perimeter Check.
Remains current with any/all SmarterU and ADP LMS Online Training and with Dual In - Person/Online trainings, to include Crisis Prevention Institute (CPI) Training Annually and CPR/First Aid Training Biennially.
Assists their YRS Directors/PMs with updating their YRS Site's Emergency Plans as well as assisting with both the running of Emergency Drills and with the scanning in of their Emergency Drills as part of their CARF Quality Review, if they are requested to do so.
Completes Daily Staff Communications (DSCs), which will list at least 1 activity they complete during each hour of every workday. DSCs will either be sent daily using photographs or they can be completed on a weekly basis where they scan in the DSCs and then email them directly to HHCS Manager of Physical Security and Incident Response.
Always carries a charged walkie - talkie on their person during their work shift.
Assists in ensuring the interior of the involved YRS Site is safe/secure for all participants/staff during a protest, regardless of whether the protest occurs at their assigned YRS Site.

We are seeking Security Supervisors and Security Officers for afternoon and overnight shifts in Melrose Park. Shift times are as follows:
Afternoon Shifts 2:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.
Night Shifts 10:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m.

Your Responsibilities:
Understands and maintains general post instructions for that assigned post.
Maintain practical knowledge of all additional and emergency post instructions that are called for by the client.
Maintain access control procedures set by management.
Effectively utilize access control systems, visitor management systems and CCTV systems as needed.
Document and report any property damage and special occurrences.
Monitor CCTVs to guard against theft and trespassing.
Respond to incidents and document the event accurately.
Greet all staff and/or visitors with a professional demeanor.
Sign in and out all guests and vendors.
Provide excellent Customer Service, Public Relation interactions and have an Impeccable image at all times.
Requirements:
Variety of shifts available including 8-hour shifts, weekends, weekdays, holidays, and night shifts
Strong attention to detail and excellent observation skills
Ability to remain calm and composed in all situations.
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Must be a minimum 21 years of age.
Possess a High School Diploma/GED or military service record.
Must have a valid Permanent Employee Registration Card (PERC) or willing to apply for one.
Must have a 20-hour training certificate or complete within in 30 days of employment.
Must have 2 years of Supervisory Experience to be considered for a Supervisory Position.
All applicants must complete a pre-employment screening process to include drug screening.
Maintain an impeccable image and adhere to our professional grooming standards.
Must have mature demeanor, personality and attitude.
Must possess strong customer service skills, public relation skills and the ability to interact well with people of diverse cultures and backgrounds.
Possess strong communication skills, both verbally, written and non-verbal.
Basic computer knowledge necessary.
Willingness to work in Access Control software programs.
Must maintain a working telephone at all times.
Must have reliable means of transportation.

Join Our Team as a Global Security Operations Center (GSOC) Operator
Are you passionate about Security Operations? S&C Electric Company is seeking a dynamic individual to coordinate our Security function. Global Security Operations Center (GSOC) Operators perform a variety of functions related to the safety and security of S&C team members and facilities. Operators perform duties in three main categories: 1) assignment to the Global Security Operations Center (GSOC); 2) the administration of security systems and utilization of those systems to conduct investigations 3) the administration of the GSOC Common Operating Picture (COP) software and assets to communicate critical information via software generated reports. 4.) Working within a team of global security professionals during the shift.
Key Responsibilities:
When staffing the GSOC console, Operators responsibilities include monitoring all facility fire, building supervisory, high voltage supply, intrusion alarms and video management systems (VMS). They also weigh, stage and direct all commercial deliveries and shipments and function as the radio communications dispatcher and telephone switchboard operator off-hours.
At the Global Security Operations Center, Operators also responsible for the maintaining, use and assist in the training of Global Security video, alarm, and SharePoint data entry systems for the department.
At the Global Security Operations Center, Operators will have the primary responsibility to utilize the COP software at the GSOC console that will pull information, such as local threats and hazards from various information assets that feed the COP. The Operator will analyze this information and generate predefined reports, as well as send out vital information to internal S&C stakeholders as directed or required by Security leadership.
GSOC Operators perform other duties as required.
What you will need to succeed:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills; proficiency with personal computers.
Strong analytical, organizational, and decision-making skills.
Strong interpersonal, people skills and articulation skills required to communicate solutions to management and stakeholders within the organization.
Strong proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, MS Teams); SharePoint; Microsoft Outlook; Web-based communications tools; and internet-based research
Associate degree from an accredited college or university
