In the Juvenile Intake unit, within the Intake Division, this position is responsible for providing civil and criminal intake services for cases involving juveniles. Duties include establishing jurisdiction, venue and probable cause, determining appropriate offenses, as well as whether the case will be handled through diversion or formal court action with the issuance of a petition. Decisions are made in accordance with the Code of Virginia, the Department of Juvenile Justice (DJJ) standards, Court Services Unit (CSU) policies and procedures, as well as with the use of agency approved screening and tools.
As a part of those decisions, the intake officer is responsible for providing diversion services, which may include informal counseling, referrals to other agencies or other appropriate community resources, placing the youth on a diversion contract or setting the case for an informal hearing. If the decision is made to proceed formally the intake officer will generate legal paperwork which will become a part of the juvenile's legal file; attention to detail is a requirement in this position. This position requires data entry in databases managed by DJJ and the CSU.
As Juvenile Intake is a mandated service, this position has been identified as an essential employee by the county and requires reporting to work regardless of conditions such as inclement weather, county closures and holidays.

Loudoun County Animal Services is looking for a new humane law enforcement officer (HLEO) to join our expanding team. Our officers receive comprehensive training (both classroom and in-field), take-home vehicles, competitive pay, exceptional benefits (including ongoing training, tuition reimbursement and pension) and support from a community of over 440,000 residents.
The humane law enforcement team works within the department of Animal Services to provide comprehensive responses to calls that include dogs running at large, routine investigations, complex felonies, wildlife rescue, animal hoarding, technical large animal rescue (of livestock) and much, much more.
Job Summary
The Humane Law Enforcement team responds to over 5,000 annual calls for service, resolving the majority of these cases with education and positive outcomes, while maintaining a monthly court schedule, in which more serious and complex cases are presented and prosecuted. Officers work with the Animal Services sheltering and veterinary teams to collect forensic evidence and work towards comprehensive resolutions to animal welfare matters in Loudoun County. Our HLEOs are armed, sworn, and an integral part of our community, as we focus on providing compassionate animal rescue, intake, and law enforcement initiatives.

Position Summary
The International SecuritySpecialist (ISS) will perform daily acquisition and operational security duties supporting the customer's international program. Position Qualifications

DoD Information Security Program experience IAW DoDM 5200.01 Vol 1-3.
BA/BS degree and a minimum of seven (7) years of specialized security experience
