Job Description:
The Activity Security Representative (ASR) II's primary function is to provide multi-disciplined security support to a customer's facility and organization. The position will provide “day-to-day” support for Collateral, Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) and Special Access Program (SAP) activities.
Performance shall include:
Classification reviews of inbound and outbound correspondence
Assist in the maintenance of a document accountability database and associated correspondence
Processing inbound and outbound classified mail and receipt records
Perform destruction of classified materials
Process magnetic media for accountability

Municipal Security Officers fill an armed limited authority uniformed position and are primarily responsible to ensure the safety and security of the Cheyenne Municipal Court and court employees against unauthorized, illegal, and potentially life threatening activities. MSOs also provide security services for all municipal property and surrounding premises. Municipal Security Officers may be tasked to assist Patrol CSOs with specific duties/functions.
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The following duties and responsibilities are illustrative of the primary functions of this position and are not intended to be all inclusive.
* Interpret and respond to disruptive scenarios quickly and be trained in Use of Force techniques to appropriately handle the scenario, as needed to protect life, limb, and property.
* Control court facility entry and identification systems which includes operating security screening equipment to detect weapons, contraband, and prohibited items, checking items such as handbags, briefcases, computers, packages, baby carriages, wheelchairs, etc.

Our healthcare security team is responsible for maintaining the security and safety for all at Billings Clinic which includes hospital staff, patients and visitors. Required Skills/Abilities:

Education and Experience:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required.
Minimum of one (1) year experience in law enforcement or gaming security preferred.

GENERAL PURPOSE
To patrol the property and grounds of JHMR and related areas, securing buildings, directing and assisting guests and visitors, mitigating unsafe conditions and situations and reporting them to management. Acts as a contact for local law enforcement, emergency medical services or fire departments as necessary. Assists other employees in maintaining a safe and secure base area. Properly and calmly handles emergency situations. Maintains various records, prepares reports and performs miscellaneous clerical and maintenance tasks. Performs accident investigations according to criteria or upon request.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Patrol JHMR premises to prevent and detect signs of intrusion and ensure security of doors, windows, and gates.
Answer alarms and investigate disturbances.
Monitor and authorize entrance and departure of employees, visitors, and other persons to guard against theft and maintain security of premises.
Write reports of daily activities and irregularities, such as equipment or property damage, theft, presence of unauthorized persons, or unusual occurrences.
Call police, emergency medical services or fire departments in cases of emergency, such as fire or presence of unauthorized persons.
Circulate among visitors, patrons, and employees to preserve order and protect property.
Preparing and submitting written reports on activities and incidents taking place at the end of each shift.
Observes and operated security camera footage and programs.
Works well with minimal supervision.
Identifies and observes suspicious persons and activities.
Able to communicate in an effective and proficient manner in high stress situations.
Conducts incident investigations using witness statement forms, incident diagrams, photos and other related material.

Valid Driver's License

EDUCATION OR FORMAL TRAINING:

Current CPR and Basic First Aid Certification
EXPERIENCE:
Previous security or law enforcement helpful but not required
Expert skier/snowboarder level required
MATERIAL AND EQUIPMENT DIRECTLY USED:
Use of cell phone and common office equipment
Use of security cameras and related computer programs
WORKING ENVIRONMENT/PHYSICAL ACTIVITIES:
Be on feet for long periods of time
Be able to withstand cold temperatures
