We are seeking a highly qualified Residential Security Agent to join our team of dedicated professionals. PAY TRANSPARENCY:
$44.50 per hour + $5.05 health and welfare
RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide armed protection for personnel, facilities, and assets in accordance with company policies and client requirements.
Conduct roving patrols, access control, and perimeter security to prevent unauthorized entry, theft, vandalism, or safety hazards.
Monitor and respond to security systems, alarms, and surveillance equipment.
Screen and process all visitors, ensuring compliance with security procedures.
Identify, investigate, and report suspicious activity or safety concerns.
Maintain detailed and accurate incident and daily activity reports.
Coordinate and communicate effectively with law enforcement, emergency responders, and site leadership during incidents.
Apply de-escalation techniques and exercise sound judgment when responding to disturbances or threats.
Adhere to all use-of-force policies and maintain weapons in a safe and responsible manner.

QUALIFICATIONS
Be a citizen of the United States of America.
Be at least 21 years of age. While there is no maximum age limit for RSA positions, all applicants shall be able to withstand the physical demands of the job and be capable of responding to emergency situations.
Be a high school graduate or have a General Educational Development (GED), or equivalency.
Be able to read, write, and speak the English language fluently.
Possess a valid, unrestricted (except eyeglass wear) state driver's license.
Possess one of the following qualifications:
a minimum of three years of military experience, or;
a minimum of one year of sworn law enforcement or armed contract security guard experience providing services similar to this contract requirement

RDTS is in need of a Mail Center Security Specialist (Mail Screener) to support the U.S Dept of State on the Diplomatic Pouch & Mail program in Springfield, VA. This position fully onsite at the State Dept's annex in Springfield, VA, Monday-Friday (possible hours of 6:30am-3:30pm), and available upon successful security clearance verification.
Primary essential functions include, but are not necessarily limited to:
Perform x-ray security screening on all mail and cargo entering facility (unclassified and classified DPM pouch operations). Perform x-ray image interpretation to detect potential dangerous goods, hazardous devices and listed prohibited items.
Monitor the mail handling areas within the facility for mail security threats or vulnerabilities report findings to DOS Management.
Successfully attend, obtain and maintain the certification for International Air Transport Association Accredited NON-Radioactive Dangerous Goods Training certification for IATA Category 3.
Successfully attend and complete the X-ray Security Screening Course (Government furnished) when provided.

Understand the fundamentals and application of the Department of State 14 FAM Exhibit 723.2 regulations as it pertains to Diplomatic Pouch and Mail Operations.

Under the Oversight of DOS staff to include, where applicable depending on location, the Branch Chief, the Deputy Branch Chief, the Facility Industrial Hygienist and Bulk Supervisor / Pouch Control Officer, conduct duties as an extension of the designated Pouch Control Officer. The duties will include physical inspection of flagged parcels / pouches to determine if shipment is rejected or cleared for pouching. Scan parcel tracking numbers into Integrated Logistics Management System (ILMS) for comment input, record keeping and tracking. Perform recovery and mitigation on damaged or opened parcels.
Attain and maintain demonstrated understanding and proficiency in the use of first responder detection equipment (GFE) to include atmospheric air monitoring systems, radiological detectors, and chemical and biological detection systems. Technologies may include FTIR, RAMAN, PCR, Electrochemical cells.
Conduct field sample analysis of unknown or suspicious substances found within the confines of the Mail Facility to detect potential / presumptive Toxic Industrial Materials and Chemicals (TIM / TIC), Biological and Chemical Agents. Radiological sources and toxic gases or vapors.
Safely isolate and secure pouch safety or security violation items and suspicious letter mail. Conduct physical inspection, inventory and provide accurate documentation (to include photographing) of findings on generated incident reports.
Advise and instruct containment room mail handlers on secondary sample collection procedures during presumptive positive results and powder spills during receiving.
Direct containment room mail handlers to process through facility decontamination showers when necessary. Instruct containment room mail handlers to evacuate during emergencies. (Unclassified facility only).
Perform weekly bio threat surveillance sample analysis of parcel sorter machine (Unclassified facility only).
Utilize building Emergency Public Announcement systems when directed by DOS Management during emergencies. (Unclassified facility only).

This role supports the security, facility, and technical compliance activities for Intelsat US LLC and its subsidiary organization, Intelsat General Communications LLC. The role is critical to ensuring the management of activities related to the company's personnel, facilities, operations, and communications security activities, especially regarding classified programs for the U.S. Department of Defense (“DoD”), Intelligence Community (“IC”), Special Access Programs (“SAP”), and other sensitive customer programs. This role is responsible for implementing and administering all company security policies, procedures, and functions to assure compliance with applicable laws, government regulations, customer requirements and company policies. The FSO/ITPSO also supports internal customers, as needed, in developing innovative solutions to address the company's business needs.
You will maintain the security posture of the company's offices and facilities during all maintenance, repair, support, upgrade, and reconfiguration activities. In further support of securing the company's offices and safeguarding classified information, you will lead the Insider Threat Program team that monitors, investigates, and reports on insider threat indicators from Intelsat's cleared employees, consultants, and contractors.
In your capacity as the company's ISSO, you will support the infrastructure used to support classified contracts, which includes all activities related to continuous monitoring and technical support, as well as the design and implementation of these platforms.
As a Facility Security Officer, Insider Threat Program Senior Official, & Information System Security Officer, you will be responsible to :
Perform security tasks as indicated by the National Industrial Security Operating Manual (“NISPOM”), by various Director of Central Intelligence Directives (“DCID”) and by guidelines issued by other government agencies
Guide the administration and safeguarding of classified information entrusted to the organization, ensuring compliance with all appropriate protocols, investigating security incidents, and resolving any security issues
Provides guidance and support to the Senior Management Official and other cleared staff regarding security matters
Liaise with the Defense Counterintelligence and Security Agency (“DCSA”) and customer program security offices regarding all manner of security matters
Administers security programs related to company personnel, including programs (e.g. NBIS) to obtain new security clearances and facilitate continuous enrollment for existing cleared staff.
Offers interpretation and advice to management and other internal customers regarding security requirements and procedures
Participates in the administration and enforcement of the company's FOCI instrument procedures, and collaborates on reports to Intelsat's Board of Managers and Government Security Committee (“GSC”) on compliance with these procedures
Acts as the company's COMSEC custodian, ensuring regular audits and semi-annual inventories are performed, maintaining the Distributed Information Security Accounting Systems (“DIAS”) database
Assists in ensuring that maintenance, setup, and reconfiguration activities of the company's CONUS office locations, technical sites, and other facilities proceed in line with established security parameters.
Processes and submits employee Requests for Visit (“RFV”), Visit Access Requests (“VAR”), and foreign travel reporting via associated systems of record (e.g. DISS, etc.)
Monitor Travel Risk Management of employees traveling across borders and coordinate information with staff and management regarding high security risks and areas of threats and incidents.
Conduct and oversee physical security countermeasures (CCTV, IDS, keys, locks, badges) and prepared survey reports and conduct company investigations regarding security incidents.
Develop and maintain effective communication with law enforcement agencies and industry counterparts and support investigations as needed.
Perform regular continuous monitoring activities as dictated by customer requirements and schedules
Ensure classified networks in use by the organization remain current, designing and implementing the latest in supported hardware, software, and compliant configurations to maintain these systems' accreditations for use
Ensure personnel clearances remain current through proactive monitoring of Continuous Evaluation (“CE”) statuses, submitting adverse reports as necessary, and submitting travel information when reported by staff.
Use NBIS to support new clearance processing and enrollment of existing cleared personnel in CE when needed.
Assist in the development of checklists and how-to guides to ensure all security processes and procedures are consistent in both quality and outcome.
Assist in the development and presentation of materials designed to support company-wide security awareness and compliance.
Respond to alarm conditions for sensitive facilities, and assist in the periodic inspection process for these systems, reporting any adverse information as necessary

YOUR PROFILE :
Must have a Bachelors' Degree, with at least three (3) years of applicable experience in security clearances, government security protocols and related subjects; additional experience will be considered in lieu of degree
Must have a well-developed knowledge and understanding of United States government rules and regulations related to security and classified information, especially the directives and guidelines of the Department of Defense and the Intelligence Community

• Must be familiar with DoD Risk Management Framework.
• Understands NIST SP 800-53 and CNSSI 1253 security controls.
• Must be 8570 compliant DoD IAT and IAM Lv. III with field related certifications from internationally recognized certification bodies with at least one cloud security certifications.
• Demonstrated ability for oral and written communication, with a preference for experience communicating with the highest levels of management.
• Knowledge of government and industry-accepted cybersecurity standards and best practices

Key Responsibilities:

Qualifications:

Minimum of three (3) years of relevant experience.
Relevant experience shall include experience within one or more of the standard securities and/or intelligence fields e.g., technical, physical, information, industrial, personnel and operational security.
Subject matter expertise and hands-on experience in one or more security and/or intelligence discipline and experience implementing complex government security and/or intelligence programs and policies is preferable.
Must be highly organized and have excellent oral and written communication skills.
Shall demonstrate a proficiency in various types of information technology applications, such as Microsoft Office, including MS Word, Access, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Familiarity with ISMS, eQIP, CVS, and/or DISS is preferred, but not required.
Must be able to obtain and maintain a US government security clearance.
