What You'll Do: Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities. Respond to incidents and critical situations within the retail location in a calm, problem-solving manner. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail space, including the sales floor, storage areas, and perimeter, to help to deter unwanted activity. Observe and report any suspicious behavior, hazards, or security-related incidents as directed by site procedures and Allied Universal guidelines. Assist with access control procedures by monitoring entry and exit points and verifying credentials as required. Support the enforcement of location policies, including those related to loss prevention and customer conduct. Work collaboratively with store staff and management to address security-related concerns and help to maintain a welcoming environment for customers and employees. Minimum Requirements: Access control or badge experience is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
