The Security Technology & Protections Specialist is responsible for the design, implementation, maintenance, and compliance oversight of physical security systems and protections across company facilities. This role ensures that electric boats, security systems and protective measures meet regulatory, contractual, and organizational requirements while supporting operational needs and risk mitigation efforts. Responsibilities: Manage and maintain physical security technologies including access control systems, video surveillance (CCTV), Intrusion detection, alarm monitoring, turnstiles, other protective measures. Support the design, installation, testing, and commissioning of security systems for new and existing facilities. Ensure compliance with applicable DoD, NISPOM, ICD, DCSA, and company physical security requirements, as applicable. Conduct security risk assessments, vulnerability assessments, and systems evaluations to determine appropriate protection levels based on facility function, information sensitivity, and assets. Develop and maintain security documentation, including system diagrams, SOPs, policies, procedures, and protection plans. Monitor system performance and investigate security incidents, alarms, and system anomalies, recommending corrective actions as necessary. Support audits, inspections and compliance reviews by internal and external authorities. Provide technical guidance and training to security personnel and end users on security systems and procedures. Assist with lifecycle management, and procurement of security technologies and protection equipment. Qualifications Required Qualifications: High School diploma or GED Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret Clearance. 5+ years of experience in physical security systems, security technology, or protective systems management. Certification in access control systems, CCTV, IDS, and alarm monitoring platforms (e.g., C-Cure 9000, Milestone, Barco, Hanwha, Rapid Response, or similar). Follow established procedures regarding systems and equipment monitored by security and the activities of the command center and document and report any damage or safety hazards to management. Responsible for gathering & interpreting information to accurately complete required reporting procedures in a timely manner. Log and inspect all incoming packages and contact the correct recipients of arrival. Report any suspicious packages to the manager or the proper authorities. Job Description Paragon Professional Services is seeking Armed Transportation Officers for Armed Ground Transportation Services for the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) in Connecticut. Wage and Salary range is $33.61. Applicants will be contacted via phone or email within ten (10) business days of submittal. Ensure all detainee transports are documented and detainee records and possessions are safeguarded at all times. Provide trip documentation to the Transportation Coordinator in a timely manner. Ensure that any required detainee documentation is obtained from the transferring facility/agency prior to departure.
