This is an entry-level security position focused on protecting the physical assets of the properties and ensuring the safety of everyone on site. The role involves routine patrols, addressing policy violations, and providing assistance to guests and employees. The guard is also responsible for maintaining detailed incident reports and collaborating with law enforcement and other emergency services when necessary.
NOTE: This job is a safety-sensitive position subject to drug testing requirements. A positive drug test will result in a job offer being rescinded or, for active employees, termination, even if they test positive for marijuana and have a valid medical marijuana license.
High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED).
This is an entry-level position with little to no previous work experience required.
State of Oklahoma Council of Law Enforcement, Education, and Training (CLEET) unarmed security guard license required within 180 days of hire.
CPR certification required.
Working knowledge of defensive tactics.
Working knowledge of surveillance video systems and how to maintain the chain of evidence.
Ability to pass a security-approved custody control test.
Ability to obtain and maintain a license from the appropriate gaming authority.
Must have and maintain a valid driver's license.
Provide protection for the physical assets of the properties, including guests and employees, and report all safety hazards to leadership.
Prevent guests from entering premises with prohibited items and address any guests in violation of policies and procedures.
Patrol the physical facilities, including casinos, smoke shops, and parking lots.
Greet guests and provide directions and assistance as needed.
Provide aid to any guest or employee who may request or require it, including performing CPR and first aid procedures.
Detect suspicious activity and behavior and notify leadership.
Maintain a good working relationship with local law enforcement agencies and fire and safety departments.
Maintain detailed written reports of incidents following policies and procedures.

Essential Job Functions
1. Responds to complaints; inspects properties for violations of various City nuisance laws.
2. Drives through City streets and alleys to identify violations of various nuisance laws; determines if violations exist and takes appropriate actions to ensure the violations are corrected, including informing property owners of corrections needed and issues citations for violations if remedial action is not adequate.
3. Monitors and updates compliances and actions taken in SeeClickFix or related systems utilized for nuisance enforcement.
4. Documents violations for court action by researching legal description of the property, verifying owner/occupant, taking photos of violations, making copies of violation notices sent, and preparing a report for presentation in court.
5. Provides testimony in court to document and/or verify the violation and the process followed to remedy the violation.
6. Makes arrangements for bids to abate violations as ordered by the court.
7. Monitors abatement of violations by successful bidders; prepares documentation to be used for billing property owners or for tax liens against properties due to abatement of violations.
8. Prepares lists of mowing abatements to be performed by the City.
9. Performs follow-up inspections of court-ordered actions.
10. Answers questions and complaints by citizens regarding the City enforcement procedures.

GENERAL PURPOSE:
This position provides a visible presence at the Store entrances/exits, mitigating theft and fraud and maintaining a safe and secure environment for Associates and Customers. The Specialist makes eye contact, smiles, and greets all Customers in a prominent, courteous and friendly manner deterring opportunity for theft by demonstrating "command" presence in a Company issued vest/required black attire, and monitoring the Code 50 package inspection policy. Job Description:
In this role, you are responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients, community, and visitors. You will do foot patrols for your designated areas, vehicle patrols (if required for your position) for your designated post/location, enforce security protocols, and respond to incidents when needed. Your assigned post will differ depending on your experience, and availability. Our available sites are always changing, feel free to speak with a recruiter about position/location specifics.
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong attention to detail and ability to handle high-pressure situations
Ability to work independently and make sound decisions in accordance with established procedures
Ability to perform the duties required, including standing, walking, and potentially restraining individuals if necessary
Familiarity with security systems and technology
Possession of a valid driver's license and clean driving record (if required for the role)
Knowledge of security preferred
Responsibilities:
Monitor and patrol assigned areas to ensure safety and security
Respond to alarms and emergencies, following protocols and procedures
Maintain a visible presence to deter any potential security breaches
Conduct regular security checks to identify and address any safety hazards or violations

The Public Safety Officer Unarmed responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:
Ensures all property and facilities are secure, detects and takes proper action regarding unauthorized or illegal entry.
Controls pedestrian and vehicle traffic, ensuring that vehicles are secure and safe. Issues traffic citations and conducts accident investigations when appropriate.
Provides public services such as motorist & patient assists and escorts to vehicle upon request.
Assists with fire drills and inspects the facility for hazardous or unsafe conditions.
Prepares written reports on events and properly document details.
Provides assistance at the helicopter pad during landings and emergencies.
Completes special projects and assignments designated by the Sergeant, Lieutenant and/or Public Safety Manager. * Ensures that employee regulations, policies and procedures are adhered to regarding security and safety.
Assists clinical staff in the restraint of disruptive / violent patients.
Detains criminal suspects for the police when appropriate.
Reports to the Public Safety Sergeant Lieutenant and with general overall supervision from the Public Safety Manager.
