Responsibilities include:
Monitor access of residents and guests to the large residences on campus. This includes enforcing the Guest and other University policies and verify guest passes for accuracy. Confiscate misused, damaged, or altered forms of identification.
Notify the proper authorities in the event of an emergency such as fire, crime, or medical problems. Communicate incidents and concerns, using the phone or radio equipment, to other departmental representatives. Write complete, concise, and accurate Incident and Fire Alarm Reports. Remain alert to surroundings at all times.
Act as a front line representative of the University, providing information, direction and assistance to residents, guests and staff.
Monitor the video displays for improper activities. Report any equipment related malfunctions to the supervisor on duty or to the Residential Safety Office.
Attend at least two training sessions per year. Consult and review the Operations Manual on a regular basis.
Required Skills
High School Diploma or equivalent. Excellent communication, writing, and customer service skills. One to three years of experience as a security assistant or related experience working with the public.
* Must be willing to work weekends and overnights.

Investigate all reports of suspicious activity, persons, hazards or risk and take the necessary steps to mitigate risk to patients, visitors and staff.
Investigate reports of nefarious or criminal activity including but not limited to: Larceny, burglary, threats or assault. Take the appropriate actions to protect and process evidence, interview witnesses, victims and persons of interest, interrogate suspects and document findings.
Take appropriate police actions (sworn Officers) when necessary, appropriate or mandated, based on training procedure and legal requirements.
Use effective and appropriate de-escalation techniques when addressing disorderly, disruptive or emotionally charged persons.
Ability and proficiency to use physical force when necessary and appropriate, to contain, restrain, arrest or stop a physical threat or assault.
Provides escorts to patients, visitors, employees, staff and students in order to ensure the safety of the requester in accordance with BMC policies and procedures.
Provides cash transfer escorts throughout BMC upon request.
Patrols BMC property and grounds, documents all deficiencies and/or violations of policy.
Ensures that only authorized vehicles all allowed access to parking areas controlled by BMC and documents all violations of parking policy.
Performs all duties as a Special Police Officer in accordance.
Provides Access Control in order to ensure that all persons and/or property entering or exiting BMC are in compliance with medical center policies and procedures.
Access control responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following standards:
Ensures that all employees are in possession of an authorized form of identification and that is clearly visible.
Consistently challenges all individuals without visible identification in a courteous manner.
Enforces policies with regard to age of visitors and restricted areas of BMC.
Ensures that all vendor representatives are identified, issued an appropriate pass and directed in accordance with BMC policy.
Ensures that all material leaving the property of the medical center is inspected and that only authorized articles are permitted to be removed.
Restricts access to those individuals who have no authorized business within BMC or a particular department or area in accordance with BMC or departmental policies and procedures.
Provides information to all patients, visitors, employees, staff and students upon request in a friendly, courteous and helpful manner.
Performs Public Safety Desk Officer Duties as assigned by the Operations Supervisor/Manager to ensure that operations of the department run in an efficient, effective and professional manner.
Public Safety Desk Officer Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following standards:
Coordinates all activities of Public Safety, Parking and Transportation Services during non-business hours, acts as liaison to other BMC departments and external agencies, reflects the friendly, courteous, helpful and professional attitude of the department at all times.
Coordinates the post assignments of scheduled staff in an equitable fashion.
Prioritizes and assigns responses to incidents and requests for assistance and ensures that all are resolved in a timely fashion.
Maintains a chain of custody of all property, evidence and equipment at the main Public Safety desk.
Documents all actions taken by departmental staff, all incidents reported and ensures that all supporting documentations is provided by Public Safety officers assigned to respond to calls for assistance.
Monitors all electronic security systems associated with the departmental operations at the main Public Safety desk in accordance with department Policies and Procedures.

Performs all services in accordance with the appropriate BMC Policy and Procedure Manual.

Perform transportation duties per PBNDS Standards and Training.
Ensure all detainee transports are documented and detainee records and possessions are safeguarded at all times. Provide trip documentation to the Transportation Coordinator in a timely manner.

Ensure that any required detainee documentation is obtained from the transferring facility/agency prior to departure.

Conduct pre-trip vehicle inspections on your assigned vehicle prior to departing the hub.

Report for work at your scheduled time (assigned by Operations Supervisor daily).
If assigned to a stationary guard post, such as hospital duty, ensure compliance with Post Orders and hospital protocol.
Ensure you have in your possession at all times; guard card, weapons permit, ICE ID, Company ID, medical card (if applicable).
Complete post vehicle check at the completion of your assignment.
Forward any gas receipts to the Supervisor in charge of Fleet Management.
Report any accidents, incidents and/or injuries associated with your transportation duties. Complete any required incident reports and/or documentation prior to your departure.
Complete a Record of Presence (ROP), equipment and key sign in/out sheet and all associated paperwork necessary on a daily basis
Transport Officers are required to maintain a valid Armed Guard/Firearms permit as part of their qualifications to perform transport duties. Maintenance includes passing the periodic firearms recertification. Officers who fail to maintain their armed guard/firearms permit may not be assigned to Transportation duties.
The Contractor shall certify proficiency every quarter. Training curriculum shall include Use of Force training, Tactics, Weapon Safety, and Range Qualifications.
All Armed Officers are required to recertify with their issued duty handgun at periodicities set forth in the Federal contract or state requirements. Officers must achieve a minimum score of 200 or 80% out of 250 points and must demonstrate safe handling and manipulation of their weapon (or as mandated by state requirements).

The Metro Boston Area Department of Mental Health (DMH) is currently hiring for the position of Seasonal Security Team Specialist I.
Duties and Responsibilities (these duties are a general summary and not all inclusive):
- Patrols all buildings, grounds, and adjacent areas of the hospital at regular intervals and guards against trespass, theft, fire, and damage to property.
- Maintains order among visitors and staff; maintains motor vehicle traffic controls on hospital grounds including parking, speeding and other traffic conditions and takes necessary measures to prevent unauthorized use of hospital roads and parking facilities.
- Performs security duties such as screening visitors, directing traffic, and enforcing parking controls.
- Provides personal protection to individuals as required including but not limited to, searching for missing goods and persons, conducting surveillance, and investigating complaints and reports of suspicious activities.
- Assists with providing custodial supervision of medically ill and mental health clients, and escorts them to various appointments.

Command center specialists work under the direct supervision of the command center manager, monitoring and providing surveillance of all Museum areas including but not limited to exterior perimeter, Museum garage, surface parking lots, and offsite properties. Equipment consists of closed-circuit television monitors, video recording, base station radio, a PC-based system for fire detection, emergency evacuation, security alarms and card access.
In addition to these responsibilities, the Command Center Specialist is expected to respond to security related incidents or escalations during their assigned shift, providing guidance and direction to visitors, staff and volunteers. Command Center Specialists also act as mentors to security officers and supervisors, serving as an escalation point of and sharing their knowledge, to help develop the core capabilities of the team.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Monitor & manage security systems, including surveillance cameras, access control systems, fire/AVAC systems, emergency call boxes, shelter-in-place locations/equipment, duress alarms, key boxes and other alarm technology to deter, detect, delay and respond to security incidents in real-time.
Operate all command center equipment in accordance with protocol as outlined and set up by the manufacturer, and perform all duties according to the command center's standard operating procedures
Maintain an up-to-date daily event log, which includes but is not limited to any requests for service, security breaches, dispatches emergencies, access events, etc.

Maintain contact with various other private area institutions as required. Provide leadership support for all museum security supervisors, officers, and contract security providers working for the Museum.

Qualifications/Requirements
Bachelor's degree in criminal justice, or related discipline or technical degree preferred or equivalent combination of experience & education.
Experience in museum or other type of cultural institution, call center, network operations center, security/police, emergency or medical environment.
Experience with radio communication, and / or alarm monitoring operation, access control, computer aided dispatch. Proficiency with computer hardware and software packages.
Knowledge of security alarm and surveillance systems preferred. Ability to operate a computer with Windows and learn other systems as needed.
The ability to collect data and produce reports for analysis and decision-making.
Ability to work well and effectively under pressure in individually or as part of a team.
Discretion and judgment in handling confidential matters.
Experience supporting integrated IT security platforms - card readers, motion detection strikes, magnetic locks, IP cameras or other related security technology.

Opportunities at the City Center are fun, fast paced and challenging. Safety and Security coordinator must work to provide the best experience possible for patrons and staff at the facility. This position will work in a security role and promote park rules and regulations. This position will also assist in facility safety as well as opening and closing the facility.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Monitor outdoor winter facility for safety and security and enhance the experience of the rink customers by providing a fun and safe environment
Monitor theft or loss from patrons on ice rink without admission tickets

Duties and Responsibilities (these duties are a general summary and not all inclusive):
- Patrols all buildings, grounds, and adjacent areas of the hospital at regular intervals and guards against trespass, theft, fire, and damage to property.
- Maintains order among visitors and staff; maintains motor vehicle traffic controls on hospital grounds including parking, speeding and other traffic conditions and takes necessary measures to prevent unauthorized use of hospital roads and parking facilities.
- Performs security duties such as screening visitors, directing traffic, and enforcing parking controls.
- Provides personal protection to individuals as required including but not limited to, searching for missing goods and persons, conducting surveillance, and investigating complaints and reports of suspicious activities.
- Assists with providing custodial supervision of medically ill and mental health clients, and escorts them to various appointments.
- Coordinates the maintenance of hospital firefighting equipment, alarm systems and other safeguards; reports defects and request repairs in order to ensure compliance with safety standards and requirements.
- Monitors hospital switchboard, gauges, and alarm indicator panels; takes necessary action in event of malfunction or alarm, including system resets.

• Conducting pilot or POC with selected vendors for threat modelling, architecture reviews , code scanning and penetration testing

Skills:
• Good mediation and facilitation skills

• Experience with compliance and security requirements[AR1] related to medical devices, including data privacy.
• Knowledge of (information) risk management related standards or frameworks such as COSO, ISO 2700x, CobiT, ISO 24762, BS 25999, NIST, ISF Standard of Good Practice and ITIL
• Knowledge of OWASP, SDLC, Encryption, Identity and Access Management, data integrity measures
• capability to design application security related policies and processes deep knowledge of integration between Security and system development life cycle Experience:10+ years of working experience
• 3+ years as an IT security expert
• Broad and in-depth technical, analytical and conceptual skills
• Experience in reporting to and communicating with senior level management
• Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills; interpersonal and collaborative skills; and the ability to communicate information risk-related concepts to technical as well as nontechnical audiences, and to audiences with a risk management profile as well as those with a less outspoken risk management profile.
• Excellent understanding and knowledge of general IT infrastructure technology, systems and management processes
Proven experience to create new processes or improve existing process Applicaiton Security Application Architecture MS-Office
Understanding of OWASP top 10 and SANS 25
Professional information security certification, such as CISSP, CISM or ISO 27001 auditor / practitioner is preferred.
Professional (information system) risk or audit certification such as CIA, CISA or CRISC is preferred.
Qualifications
Undergrad in Computer Science or relevant is required: Masters degree is preferred

Role Overview

Support the Wealth Advisor with their client growth and retention goals, which are firm-wide goals.
Build strong relationships with clients and become a point of contact for their client service needs.
Obtain deep understanding of all business processes and policies to serve as the subject matter expert for your team.
Coordinate with other team members such as the Client Officer and Admin Team on all client deliverables such as account opening and account maintenance.
Meet with the Wealth Advisor and Client Officer team regularly to provide status updates on client requests, Client Officers are responsible for keeping the team organized and informed.
Oversee all processing life cycles for account opening, account maintenance, and money movement to ensure timely and accurate execution.
Participate in financial planning related activities which includes data entry in eMoney, attend or schedule planning meetings, and prepare meeting materials.
Enhance the client relationship by proactively engaging the client and following up on in progress items such as paperwork, ad hoc requests, and planning related items.
Execute and verbally confirm money movement requests for clients including but not limited to wires, journals, EFTs, checks; and work closely with the Wealth Advisor to ensure all client's Required Minimum Distributions are met.
Maintain client data in Salesforce for workflow processes such as account opening and onboarding, money movement, or offboarding; ensure all required information is provided by the client for quality control.
Work directly with clients on high level and complex requests such as estate re-registrations.
Follow internal compliance guidelines for industry SEC requirements of new and existing client accounts.
Education, Experience and Qualifications
5+ years' experience in a wealth management role
Actively pursuing or aspiring to get CFP designation a plus
Series 65 or similar financial industry exams
A Bachelors' Degree in a business-related discipline
Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills
Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to multi-task
Excellent analytical, technical and problem-solving skills
Proficient at Salesforce, DocuSign, eMoney, Orion, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
Knowledge of Fidelity and Schwab platforms a plus
Proven track record of working with a high performing team
Ability to work in a fast paced and growing environment
Compensation
The anticipated base salary range for this position is $80,000 - $120,000. Final base compensation will be carefully determined based on several factors including relevant knowledge, skillset, and experience. Additionally, this role may be eligible for other forms of compensation and benefits, such as discretionary bonus, health, dental, and vision plans, and employer 401(k) contributions.
