Under limited supervision, this position is responsible for administering security programs and procedures for classified and/or proprietary materials, documents, and equipment for an assigned area(s). Initiates and plans project(s) and develops the schedule to meet project goals.
Responds to a variety of inquiries of complex and diverse scope using a comprehensive knowledge of the National Industrial Security Program (NISP) 32 CFR Part 117 National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual (NISPOM) Rule and a complete understanding of established policies, procedures, and practices for safeguarding National Security Information.
Exercises judgment within generally defined precedents and policies to analyze issues and develop solutions while providing leadership and guidance to employees, supervisors, managers, and contractors on appropriate action(s) to be taken to ensure compliance with the classified security program.
**DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:**
+ Analyze, investigate, and resolve classified security issues while providing leadership and guidance to employees, supervisors, managers, and contractors on actions(s) to be taken to ensure compliance with the classified security program.
+ Administer and coordinate all aspects of security activities in accordance with company policies and procedures to ensure compliance with federal security regulations, directives, and manuals for safeguarding National Security Information.
+ Establish and manage liaison with government agencies, external customers, contractors, employees, and managers. Coordinate with government agencies to obtain rulings, interpretations, and acceptable deviations for compliance with regulations.
+ Plan, develop, and manage specialized security programs and procedures for both classified and CUI, documents and equipment.
+ Develop, review, and implement DOD classified procedures.
+ Assist the primary custodian for incoming and outgoing classified material.
+ Develop, implement, and manage Standard Practices and Procedures security plans.
+ Primarily responsible for tracking, generating, and flowing down all prime and subcontract DD Forms 254 Contract Security Classification Specification documents for prime and subcontracts
+ Investigate and review all security violations, preparing reports, and recommending specific preventive and corrective action to be taken.
+ Implement visitor control procedures ensuring compliance with the 32 CFR Part 117 NISPOM Rule.
+ Maintaining controlled area access, alarm, and combination records, as well as security container access and combination records. Respond to alarms as necessary.
+ May act as security spokesperson to brief/debrief personnel.
+ May provide leadership, direction, and training to less experienced staff.
+ Maintain the strict confidentiality of sensitive information.
+ Responsible for observing all laws, regulations, and other applicable obligations wherever and whenever business is conducted on behalf of the Company.

Provides a wide range of services to the University community including crime prevention, crime control, parking control and furnishing aid and information to the campus community and visitors. Duties include responding to 911 emergency-style calls, investigating alarms, responding to crimes in progress and scenes of past crimes or incidents. Who You Are:
Military, law enforcement, or experience in executive protection/security is meaningful, though not a requirement to become a GDBA Protector. We're less interested in what you are than
who you are
. Our most successful Protectors come from a variety of backgrounds and have succeeded because they communicate effectively, are physically fit, willing to learn, tell the truth, and enjoy working in a team environment. Our promotion system is merit-based. Performance matters most, not seniority.

12-Day Introductory Essential Protector Skills (EPS) Training Academy
Professional Leadership Track (PLT) - 2‑year on-the-job executive protection training curriculum that prepares Protectors for future leadership positions at GDBA:
500 hours of training, mentoring, instructing, and certification
4 additional advanced executive protection/leadership training academies
Be able to pass physical readiness test (Pull-ups, Push-ups, Sit-ups, 800m run)
Protectors must be drug and nicotine free
Able to pass a pre-employment background investigation
Must be able to swim

The Security Coordinator is responsible for coordinating, developing, and evaluating organizational security programs to ensure their effectiveness and alignment with company policies and regulatory requirements. This role involves supporting the implementation of security measures, identifying areas for improvement, and recommending resource needs. The position provides the opportunity to gain exposure to more complex tasks within the security function.
Responsibilities:
Coordinate and support the development, implementation, and evaluation of security programs across the organization.
Assess the effectiveness of current security measures and recommend improvements or additional resources as needed.
Assist in ensuring compliance with internal policies and external regulations.
Monitor security-related activities and contribute to incident response efforts as directed.
Prepare reports and documentation to support security initiatives and audits.
Collaborate with departments to align security practices with operational needs.
Gain exposure to complex security tasks and occasionally receive direction in multiple aspects of the work.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in criminal justice, Security Management, Information Security, or a related field.
2 to 4 years of experience in a security-related role.
Familiarity with security program management, risk assessment, and regulatory compliance.
Strong organizational and analytical skills.
Ability to work both independently and under occasional supervision

* Liaising with facility management vendors, including cleaning, first aid, and security services.
* Managing snack and office supply inventory by maintaining par levels and placing timely orders to ensure all areas remain adequately stocked and operational.
* Responsible for managing and maintaining corporate travel systems, ensuring accurate travel data, and serving as the primary point of contact for all employee travel-related needs.
* Assist in maintaining a secure and safe environment at HQ by supporting safety protocols, responding to emergency situations, and applying emergency response training to ensure timely and appropriate actions.
* Supports HQ wellness programs and initiatives and assists with fitness instructors' classes and scheduling.
* Assist with event planning, setup, and breakdown to ensure seamless execution.
