Comprising 171 rooms and distinct food and beverage concepts, the hotel will preserve its iconic walk-in pool and, in addition, unveil a new pool on an amenity deck, offering breathtaking views of the ocean. Job Description
JOB OVERVIEW:
Under the general direction of the Director of Security, the Overnight Security Supervisor is responsible for leading and overseeing the daily activities of the Security Officers to ensure the safety and protection of all guests, employees, and property. The Overnight Security Supervisor ensures that security protocols are consistently followed, incidents are effectively managed, and a professional and visible security presence is maintained. This hands-on role requires active engagement in property patrols, incident response, and training, while also fostering a culture of safety, accountability, vigilance, and outstanding guest service.
YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Supervise and coordinate the daily duties and deployment of Security Officers across the property.
Monitor and enforce compliance with all security procedures, policies, and company standards.
Assist in responding to and managing incidents, emergencies, and guest/employee concerns; ensure accurate and timely reporting of all such events.
Conduct regular patrols of interior and exterior areas of the property to identify and address potential security or safety issues.
Act as a first point of escalation for Security Officers in the absence of the Director.
Provide on-the-job training, coaching, and performance feedback to Security Officers.
Ensure all security equipment (radios, surveillance systems, access controls, etc.) is functioning properly and report any issues to management.
Collaborate with hotel departments to ensure events, VIP visits, and guest experiences are safe and well-managed.
Prepare detailed shift reports and summaries for leadership review.
Ensure security logs, incident reports, and daily checklists are completed accurately.
Maintain high visibility and approachability to both staff and guests, reinforcing a safe and service-focused environment.
Support investigations of guest or employee incidents and help gather statements and evidence as needed.
Assist in maintaining compliance with local, state, and federal safety regulations and standards.
We recognize we are in the hospitality industry and that may require us to provide lateral service.
We will on occasion call for each individual in the team to, on a routine basis perform various related tasks as needed in the spirit of providing exceptional guest service.

The selectee will serve as a SecuritySpecialist in the Office of Technical Operations. Typical work assignments include:
* Developing, enhancing and/or modifying existing database storage, collection and dissemination processed.
* Instructing non-technical field office personnel specifically on proper usage of office electronic security systems.
* Inspecting field office electronic security systems on an annual basis for compliance with established and approved U.S. Secret Service standards.

To be considered qualified for this position you must meet the following qualification requirements for the respective grade level in which you are applying.
You qualify for the GS-11 level (starting base salary $63,795.00) if you possess one of the following:
One year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-09 level performing duties such as:
* Providing guidance and resources to personnel for establishing and operating security programs;
* Conducting security surveys;
* Inspecting and monitoring physical security protective systems;
* Establishing relationships within internal and external stakeholders to remain current on security, trends, equipment, and manufacturing.
OR
You have successfully completed a Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree, or three full years of progressively higher-level graduate education leading to such a degree, or LL.M., if related, from an accredited college or university that provided the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to perform this work. (NOTE: You must submit a copy of your college transcripts (official or unofficial) to support your claim).
OR
You have a combination of specialized experience (less than one year) and graduate education (beyond 2 years of graduate education), that when combined equals 100% of the qualification requirement. Note: Only graduate education in excess of two years {generally 36 semester hours) may be used in this calculation. (NOTE: You must submit a copy of your college transcripts (official or unofficial) and your resume must explicitly indicate how you meet the experience to support your claim.
