Qualifications
Air Force Qualification Standards
To qualify for a GS-07: Completion of 1 full year of graduate level education, or bachelor's degree with Superior academic Achievement as provided in the "General Policies and Instructions" for Qualifications Standards Operating Manual, or 5 academic years of pre-professional study, or 1 year specialized experience equivalent to at least GS-5.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES (KSAs): Your qualifications will be evaluated on the basis of your level of knowledge, skills, abilities and/or competencies in the following areas:
* Knowledge of Department of War (DoW) and Air Force directives relative to security administration.

Position Summary:
Position is responsible for providing operational support and technical guidance to school security and administrative staff; training in safety and security related skills and knowledge to security staff, school administrative, teaching and other support staff.
Essential Duties:
Operates facility security equipment to include alarm panels, security cameras, and scanners.
Provides prevention and detection of criminal activity and safety hazards; enforce parking, and other district regulations; provide overall assistance to the facility staff, students, and campus community.
Observes and responds to any security violations falling under your purview. Properly reports violations as they occur. Remains objective during all interactions.
Conducts regular checks as directed of designated sites during tour of duty for unauthorized personnel.

The Unarmed Security Officer reports to the Captain-Gilcrease and is responsible for carrying out basic security functions to ensure safe and effective prevention, response, and recovery from threats to the Gilcrease Museum. Essential Functions (Responsibilities):
Patrol
* Informs the supervisor of any unusual situations or circumstances that come to their attention.
* Staff a stationary security position to monitor activities of staff, students, and guests.
* Patrol assigned areas of the university property securing building and making inquiries and inspection oriented towards protecting of life and property, preventing crime and accidents.
* Maintains regular radio contact with the Communication Center reporting any unusual situations and requesting assistance from police or fire.
* Properly investigate all assigned incidents that occur on university property and document the findings of the investigation on department report forms.
* Observes and reports any faulty or unsafe equipment and/or conditions.
* Enforces University safety, parking, and traffic regulations by the issuance of University citations.
* Provides emergency first aid to injured or ill person(s) and assists in the transportation of these persons when necessary.
* Admits authorized person(s) into secured buildings, facilities, and rooms during business and non-business hours.
* Responds to building alarms.
* Responds to calls for assistance.
* Assists stranded motorists by jump-starting batteries, changing flat tires, and pushing disabled vehicles.
* Provides crowd and/or traffic control during scheduled activities and/or emergency situations.
* Provides basic information, direction, and assistance to university personnel, students, and visitors.
* Makes crucial decisions under stress and is held accountable for the result.
* De-escalates difficult situations and accompanies unauthorized individuals off university owned and controlled property.
* Gilcrease Museum
o Assist in daily verification of gallery inventories.
o Monitoring the museum's CCTV and alarm systems.
o Assist with the daily opening and closing of the museum.
Administrative
* Accurately completes all necessary administrative forms and reports.
* Testifies clearly and truthfully during campus conduct hearings and legal court proceedings.
* Required to complete all assigned University and department training.
Special Considerations
* May be subjected to bodily harm with the possibility of loss of life.
* May be subjected to public criticism and social pressures that create stress.
* May encounter both health and safety hazards and wear required personal protective equipment.
* Occasionally remain on duty, beyond assigned shift in the event of an emergency.

Required Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
* Current Oklahoma CLEET Certification in Phase 1 (Basic) and Phase 2 (Officer) or the ability to successfully complete and be certified in CLEET
* Current Oklahoma Driver's License or the ability to obtain one before appointment
* High School Diploma or equivalent certificate
* Ability to maintain the requirements set forth in 59 O.S., section 1750.1 et seq., The Oklahoma Security Guard and Private Investigator Act
* Proficiency utilizing a computer with Microsoft Word and Excel software
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Level II:
Receive intakes and complete investigations involving appropriate documentation on incapacitated adults alleged to be in situations of abuse, neglect, self-neglect, or exploitation;

Perform complete assessment and determine appropriate interventions for each case;
Make collateral contacts to gather additional information on the adult's history, determining the urgency of each adult's situation;
Initiate and follow through on court proceedings for involuntary protective services, and serve as a temporary guardian for adults acting within the boundaries ordered by the court;
Involve the adult (if possible) family, and other caregivers in the development of a service plan to meet the adult's needs, and provide follow-up visits as specified by policy or more often as needed.

Conduct comprehensive evaluations of all Life.Church location's existing security measures, identify potential vulnerabilities, identify crime trends, or other risks, and provide recommendations to the Director of Security and/or relevant staff.

Maintain working relationships with contract security and keep them informed of threats or concerns.
At the direction of the Manager or Director of Security, assist with security measures and decisions for future locations, portable campuses, or other events when needed.
Develop and implement volunteer safety team initiatives, providing training and oversight at all Life.Church locations.
Assist with the development, continuous improvement, and management of Emergency Management Plans, and other related resources that promote safety through informational documents, training videos, in-person training, and e-learnings.
Conduct periodic security policy reviews to maintain relevance with evolving security risks and emergency management trends.
Design and lead emergency management training with staff and relevant volunteers.
Assess and manage security threats, assessing individuals or situations that may pose a threat to Life.Church, staff, and guests.
Utilize open-source resources, federal, state, or local law enforcement resources to evaluate risk levels and implement mitigation strategies.
Exercise discretion in determining appropriate security responses, escalating concerns to the Director of Security when necessary.
Ensure proper follow-up and documentation of incidents that occur at or involve Life.Church.
Provide recommendations and guidance for risk mitigation strategies that may be required by Life.Church, partnering with Safety Awareness, Legal, Leadership, and Central Ministries when necessary.
Periodically review incident report data to identify trends, reduce risk, and provide recommendations to prevent recurrence.
Lead staff training on incident reporting protocols, ensuring compliance with security policies.
Periodically review and partner with staff to ensure the incident report form and process is accurate and relevant.
Obtain and maintain required state or local licensing to provide security in the state where residency is established or when allowed by law.
Provide physical security for all operations and events at our Life.Church campuses as directed by our Director of Security.

PATROL & SURVEILLANCE
