Performs Electronic Security System (ESS) support work that is moderately complex in nature. Provides first and second-level security system user support both on-site as well as through remote computer network access to applications. Responsibilities Perform internal guard services to include but not limited to, vehicle and personnel entry control points, internal roving patrols and armed escort guard services; Provide excellent customer service to guests, residents, employees and contractors in the communities and facilities we serve; Provide roving mobile patrol services within designated areas; Provide screening services of vehicles and personnel at entry control points; Protect equipment and personnel; Maintain weapons qualification on assigned weapon systems; Maintain proficiency with Non-Lethal Weapons; Perform internal security guard services, at any potential internal security posting, for up to 12 hours, often in austere conditions to include extreme heat, cold, wind, dust, rain or snow; Perform other duties as assigned.
