The Safety & Security Specialists will work under the direction of the Brockton High School Principal, Director of Safety and Security, Associate Principal of Culture and Climate and/ or Assistant Principal in the building to which they are assigned. They will support building administration in maintaining the safety, security, and general order of the school and its locations within. Command center specialists work under the direct supervision of the command center manager, monitoring and providing surveillance of all Museum areas including but not limited to exterior perimeter, Museum garage, surface parking lots, and offsite properties. Equipment consists of closed-circuit television monitors, video recording, base station radio, a PC-based system for fire detection, emergency evacuation, security alarms and card access. In addition to these responsibilities, the Command Center Specialist is expected to respond to security related incidents or escalations during their assigned shift, providing guidance and direction to visitors, staff and volunteers. The staff member will work under the supervision of programming coordinators and will report to the Director of Athletic and Event Facilities. A University Public Safety Officer will promote lawful behavior and protect the welfare of students, faculty, staff and visitors as a uniformed presence on campus. A Public Safety Officer performs foot, vehicle and bicycle patrols of the university campus to monitor behavior, secure buildings and property, investigate disturbances, maintain order during events and enforce regulations. City of Providence Parks Department - City Center Rink City Center Rink is in the heart of downtown Providence between Biltmore and Burnside Park. It is one of the 120 city parks in Providence, including 12 downtown parks. During the winter season, The Providence Rink serves over 50,000 ice skating and ice bumper car patrons. It is the premier destination for visitors to explore our downtown parks and a staple in the community for outdoor activities. The City Center and Providence Rink is looking for a seasonal Safety and Security Coordinator position. The staff member will work under the supervision of programming coordinators and will report to the Director of Athletic and Event Facilities. Opportunities at the City Center are fun, fast paced and challenging. Safety and Security coordinator must work to provide the best experience possible for patrons and staff at the facility. This position will work in a security role and promote park rules and regulations. This position will also assist in facility safety as well as opening and closing the facility.
