Responsibilities
Peraton and its Operational Planning, Implementation and Assessment Services Team are seeking an experienced Special Access Program (SAP) SecuritySpecialist to provide SAP Security across all security disciplines in support of all facets of USNORTHCOM level planning.
Location: Colorado Springs, CO.
What You'll Do:
Provide SAP security support to combatant command planners for integration of SAP capabilities during day-to-day, combat operations, contingencies, crisis action, and exercises in supporting operations.
Assist with and advise government leads on SAP security best practices in support of sensitive planning and operations.
Assist government leads with management of SAP personnel security, accesses, and administering annual and initial SAP training to members of the command; this includes DISS and JADE to request and verify accesses for individuals, submission of program access requests (PARs), and nomination packages.
Assist government leads with the management of SAP Information Systems (IS) to include account creation, training, and accountability of hardware.
Assist government leads with the management of SAP physical security, to include formal and informal SAP facility inspection support, development and review of accreditation packages, facility access rosters, and SAP equipment accountability.
Advise government leads on the development of SAP security policy and procedures.
Assist government leads with management of Communications Security (COMSEC) program and assets.
Assist with government leads SAP documents and product security reviews to ensure compliance with applicable instructions, policy, and regulations.

Qualifications
Required: LU
Requires bachelor's degree plus 5 years of SAP security experience. Or high school and an additional 4 years of relevant experience in lieu of degree.
Knowledge of Special Capabilities and SAP operations and how it is integrated into joint operational planning process, military decision-making process, and military campaign plan planning, targeting processes and expertise in developing and accessing tactical and operational level Information Operations plans and orders.
Experience with DISS and JADE databases as well as CED and SIC.

* Maintains Jaxon's Top Secret Facility Clearance & personnel security clearances in NBIS with reinvestigations initiated in a timely manner; performs all necessary follow-up procedures. * Maintain document control records for all incoming and outgoing classified documents. Ensure outgoing documents are properly marked, packaged and sent to customers IAW DCSA, 32 CFR, Part 117, NISPOM.

Use specific special forms for some international visit requests. Process visits to some countries through the APACS system. Follow-up to ensure receipt and approval.
* Maintain foreign travel records and foreign visitor logs and vetting any foreign visitors through DCSA CI Agents before arrival.
* Control access to the facility, ensure that only authorized personnel enter the premises by enforcing access control procedures. Prepare cleared incoming visitor list for classified meetings.
* Investigation of Incidents, investigate security-related incidents and collaborate with other departments or law enforcement as needed. Incident Reporting: Provide timely and accurate incident reports on individuals in DISS and ensure timely follow-up until resolved.

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Essential Duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
* Remains alert and focused at all times while carrying out their escort duties. Will not engage in any activities which will detract from their responsibilities while on duty. Reports to duty on time and acts in a professional manner at all times.
* Maintains close proximity to visitors to prevent the intentional or unintentional disclosure of classified information, materials, or equipment. Monitors and escorts un-cleared workers in restricted areas and facilities at all times.
* Maintains visual and auditory contact of all un-cleared visitors under their control. Alerts occupants in all offices prior to permitting an un-cleared visitor to enter.
* Detects and deters any covert attempt to obtain classified information, material and equipment.
* Takes all breaks, to include lunch, at the same time as the escorted visitor for which the Contractor is responsible or arranges for another fully cleared and approved Contractor personnel to act as temporary relief.
* Notifies the Government Contracting Officer Representative, Headquarters Security, or Project Manager of any security policy, regulation, or any other practices which are inconsistent with sound security procedures immediately.
* Maintains all required security trainings/certifications required by NIWC Pacific to support requirements on various government installations and/or facilities.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or general education degree (GED) and a minimum of six (6) months relevant experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education/experience. Experience in facility/physical security and on-site Sensitive Compartmented (SCIF) escort experience a plus.
