Job Summary: Short Town Pump Center
Provide security detail as outlined in the post orders and establish working relationships with customers, local law enforcement and fire departments. Security personnel will always perform job duties with a constant awareness of surroundings, making note of all activity that takes place in the assigned area. Security Officers must maintain a professional image and always demonstrate excellent customer service.
Basic Functions:
Control of entrances and movement of pedestrian and vehicle traffic.

Responsibilities:

Be on time and report to post in full uniform.
Maintain professional image that includes greeting customers, visitors and employees in a polite and friendly manner.
Be proactive in knowing all revisions to post orders and general information distributed by the customer and AFS.
Patrol physical property or maintain fixed post position, being diligent to report any suspicious activity and investigate accidents and criminal acts.
Monitor cameras or equipment in a continuous fashion as outlined in the post orders.
Maintain a working knowledge of all emergency policies, procedures and regulations to be able to respond to alarms, incidents and emergency situations.
Complete Daily Activity Reports, Log Book entries, Incident Reports and all relevant reports related to job assignment.
Make recommendations to management on better safety and loss prevention processes as identified during daily routine.
Have knowledge of any life safety systems, fire panels, CCTV system computer, and other such equipment to complete job assignments. Ensure continuous and safe operation of all elevators and access doors. Know authorized contractor personnel who are responsible for maintenance and upkeep of equipment.
Ensure training and compliance guidelines are met as outlined by AFS and other agencies regulating the customer / market.
Communicate on a daily basis with Security Supervisor any new Security Issues or changes that need to be considered or implemented.

The SecuritySpecialist position directly supports the US Security Organization for all ongoing activities that serve to provide appropriate access to, and protect the confidentiality, integrity and availability of employee and business information in compliance with organization policies, procedures and regulatory requirements including NERC's Cyber Security Standards. The ideal candidate will also be equally capable of maintaining the necessary documentation, logs, and change management systems required by the US Security standards, with support from the AES Clean Energy compliance team.
Specifically, this position is responsible for performing security assessments (physical and cyber), developing security designs, implementation of security designs, and maintenance of physical security infrastructure (Access Control, Video Surveillance, Perimeter Fencing, & Motion Detection systems) that support the operations at AES Clean Energy sites throughout the US.
The candidate must have a strong working knowledge of security assessment methodology, access control systems and video surveillance systems. General working knowledge of computer networking concepts is required. In addition, the primary duties and responsibilities include:
· Perform security assessments at AES Clean Energy sites throughout the US.
· Design, maintain, troubleshoot, configure and engineer industry-based Physical Access Control Systems (PACS). These systems include Kantech, Tattletale, HID, AWID, Honeywell, Vicon, Exacqvision, etc.
· Maintain, troubleshoot, configure and engineer closed-circuit IP-based camera systems.
· Process troubleshooting requests and repairs for PACS and camera systems.
· Replace and install PACS and camera system hardware and software in a utility-based environment.
· Safely work from heights exceeding 15 feet.
· Install, maintain, configure and troubleshoot PACS and camera management operating systems, including Windows and Linux.
· Conduct routine hardware and software audits of all supported security devices to ensure compliance with established standards, policies, procedures, and requirements.
· Work with vendors, application developers, database administrators, corporate IT, and other technology groups to resolve any problems.
· Participate in the Cyber Security Incident Response Team (CSIRT).
· Participate in disaster recovery planning, development, exercises, and actual events.

Flex Officer Explanation
The Flex Officer position is crucial to our company's operational and financial success. The flex officer provides trained, competent support by working shifts which become open due to illness, call-offs, weather, vacation, or other causes. This enables Sunstates to provide continual, uninterrupted service to our customers, while also protecting the health and work balance of our personnel.
Scheduling Expectations
The scheduling parameters and expectations for a flex officer are different from those of an employee assigned to a fixed post. As a flex:
You will be trained at various posts and /or facilities based on operational need. While you may work at a specific post or location for several weeks due to need, this will not be a permanent assignment.
Your schedule (shifts, days off, hours per week, etc.) will vary based on operational need.
You will be assigned to, or offered the opportunity to accept, shifts as they become available due to staffing needs.
Some of your shifts will be scheduled in advance and posted with the new week's schedule. Sometimes you will be called with short notice and asked to come in to cover for someone who is unable to work their shift.
You are expected to work any shift for which you are scheduled in advance which falls within the availability described on this sheet. If you know you will be unavailable on an upcoming date or time that would normally fall within your availability described on this sheet, you must communicate this with your supervisor, so they know not to schedule you.
For short-notice call-ins, you are expected to work at least 80% of the shifts for which you are called. If you refuse more than 20% of shifts for which you are called in, this could negatively impact your employment status with the company.

About This Role:
Juvenile Pretrial Officer serves as a key link between the court, the community, and the youth involved in the justice system. In this role, you will conduct intake assessments, supervise youth awaiting adjudication, and provide the court with accurate, timely information about each youth's progress while under supervision. You help ensure compliance with court-ordered conditions through consistent monitoring, documentation, and communication with families, schools, and service providers.

Position Overview:
This is a full-time in-person position with full employee benefits. The selected candidate must be able to work independently, demonstrate strong professionalism, and maintain accurate documentation in a fast-paced environment. This position requires daily driving throughout the county and conducting field-based visitation, including home visits, school visits, court attendance, and community partner meetings. Some evenings and weekends may be required based on court needs, supervision schedules, or needs of the organization. Job duties include but are not limited to:
* Face-to-face supervision of youth on pretrial status and monitor compliance with court-ordered conditions
* Conduct field-based visitation including home visits, school visits, and other required community contacts while verifying compliance such as school attendance, and curfew through direct contact and collateral verification
* Maintain routine communication with youth and parent/guardian to support compliance and accountability
* Prepare timely, accurate, and factual documentation for court hearings and case updates.
* Provide sworn testimonies in court as needed regarding factual case information and documented compliance activities
* Coordinate with court stakeholders, schools, service providers, and internal team members to support case requirements
* Provide referrals and resource information to youth and families as appropriate
* Maintain confidentiality and complete case documentation in accordance with policy and procedures
Minimum Requirements:
High School diploma or GED and 5 years' experience working with youth in a juvenile justice, school, or recreational setting.
Preferences:
* Bachelor's Degree in Human Services, or related field
* 1-3 years of progressively responsible experience in working with and providing case management services to at-risk youth
* Bilingual proficiency (Spanish/English preferred)
* Demonstrated excellent customer service skills, including the ability to engage youth and families with professionalism, empathy, and respect in challenging or sensitive situations
* Strong time management and organizational skills, including the ability to prioritize competing deadlines, manage a high-volume workload, and ensure timely documentation and follow-up
* Experience working with justice-involved youth, families, or vulnerable populations in court services, probation, youth services, social services, or related settings
* Knowledge of juvenile justice processes, court procedures, and confidentiality standards
* Strong computer/technology skills, including experience using Microsoft Office Suite
* Strong written communication skills, including experience preparing reports, case notes, and court-ready documentation
* Excellent driving record and the ability to operate a vehicle for a long duration of a workday
Special Requirements:
* In accordance with Department of Juvenile Justice regulations, the selected candidate will be required to pass a pre-employment background check, including local, state, and federal criminal clearances, before receiving a final offer.
* A valid driver's license is required, and the incumbent must be able to operate a county vehicle as needed.
* The Office of Youth Services (OYS) role is also required to provide emergency human services support in the event of a disaster or emergency.

Security Officers patrol all Foundation properties to protect exhibits; to assist employees, guests, and contractors; and to respond to emergency situations and calls for service in a timely and efficient manner.
Essential Functions:
Perform routine patrol activities to include, but not limited to:
Conduct routine patrols and inspections of all Colonial Williamsburg buildings, grounds, parking lots, etc., including but not limited to the art museums, historic area properties, hotels, golf courses, restaurants, retail establishments, outlying properties, etc.
Document and record unusual conditions, situations, or events, and provide timely and accurate information to management.
Monitor safety conditions, and report deficiencies to management.

Perform and follow documented opening and closing procedures in designated buildings as required.
Detection and preliminary investigation of crimes/unusual activities, which may include surveillance of individuals vehicles or locations; interviewing victims, suspects, and witnesses; identification and collection of property and evidence; and documenting and reporting findings to the supervisor in charge of the shift.
Maintain order/mediate disputes and quell disturbances.
Administer first aid, CPR and use of AED including moving/assisting incapacitated persons.
Enforce Foundation rules and regulations
Control access to restricted areas, when necessary.
Relieve communications operators, as required, by becoming familiar with all alarm monitoring systems, communications equipment, logs, records, and CAD system.
Escort employees and guests as needed.
Setup crowd/traffic/parking control barriers/equipment

DESCRIPTION
The School Security Officer is responsible for ensuring the safety and security of students, staff, and visitors within the school premises. This role involves patrolling the school grounds, monitoring security cameras, and responding to incidents or emergencies as they arise. The Security Officer plays a key role in maintaining a positive and safe learning environment by enforcing school policies, preventing unauthorized access, and providing support during school activities and events. They must be able to assess potential threats, manage crisis situations, and work collaboratively with school administrators, law enforcement, and emergency responders. [The hours for this position are M-Th from 11:00am-7:30pm, and Fridays from 7:15am-3:45pm.]
GENERAL DUTIES (May not include all duties performed)
Patrol school buildings, grounds, and parking lots to monitor student behavior and prevent unauthorized access.
Respond promptly to incidents, disturbances, or emergencies, including fights, unauthorized visitors, or medical situations.
Monitor security cameras and conduct regular checks of doors, windows, and gates to ensure they are secured.
Enforce school policies and rules regarding student behavior, dress code, and attendance.
Collaborate with school administrators and staff to develop and implement safety protocols and emergency response plans.
Assist with traffic control during school arrival and dismissal times.
Escort students, staff, or visitors to and from school buildings as needed.
Report any security or safety hazards, such as broken windows or faulty locks, to school administration.
Prepare and maintain accurate records and reports of incidents, observations, and daily activities.
Participate in training sessions and drills for emergency preparedness, crisis intervention, and de-escalation techniques.
Provide assistance and support during school events, such as assemblies, sports events, or after-school activities.
Build positive relationships with students to promote a safe and respectful school culture.
Communicate effectively with law enforcement, emergency responders, and other community resources when necessary.
Perform other duties as assigned.
SUPERVISION
The School Security Officer reports directly to the Division Supervisor of Security, while also receiving direction from the school's Principal or assigned administrative staff member.
WORK CONDITIONS
The School Security Officer works primarily on school grounds and within school buildings. The role requires standing, walking, or running for extended periods and may involve exposure to various weather conditions. The position may also require working evenings, weekends, or holidays, especially during school events or emergencies. The Security Officer must be prepared to respond to incidents that may involve physical confrontation, and they must use appropriate safety measures to protect themselves and others. There may also be interactions with individuals in heightened emotional states who require appropriate de-escalation responses.

The SecuritySpecialist position directly supports the US Security Organization for all ongoing activities that serve to provide appropriate access to, and protect the confidentiality, integrity and availability of employee and business information in compliance with organization policies, procedures and regulatory requirements including NERC's Cyber Security Standards. Specifically, this position is responsible for performing security assessments (physical and cyber), developing security designs, implementation of security designs, and maintenance of physical security infrastructure (Access Control, Video Surveillance, Perimeter Fencing, & Motion Detection systems) that support the operations at AES Clean Energy sites throughout the US.
The candidate must have a strong working knowledge of security assessment methodology, access control systems and video surveillance systems. General working knowledge of computer networking concepts is required. In addition, the primary duties and responsibilities include:
* Perform security assessments at AES Clean Energy sites throughout the US.
* Design, maintain, troubleshoot, configure and engineer industry-based Physical Access Control Systems (PACS). These systems include Kantech, Tattletale, HID, AWID, Honeywell, Vicon, Exacqvision, etc.
* Maintain, troubleshoot, configure and engineer closed-circuit IP-based camera systems.
* Process troubleshooting requests and repairs for PACS and camera systems.
* Replace and install PACS and camera system hardware and software in a utility-based environment.
* Safely work from heights exceeding 15 feet.
* Install, maintain, configure and troubleshoot PACS and camera management operating systems, including Windows and Linux.
* Conduct routine hardware and software audits of all supported security devices to ensure compliance with established standards, policies, procedures, and requirements.
* Work with vendors, application developers, database administrators, corporate IT, and other technology groups to resolve any problems.
* Participate in the Cyber Security Incident Response Team (CSIRT).
* Participate in disaster recovery planning, development, exercises, and actual events.
