Your Role as a Protector:
Monitor property while utilizing the tools and technology of a GDBA Command Center
Screen visitors and vendors; control all access to protected site
Coordinate and execute security plans and respond to medical emergencies

Provide secure transportation as needed
Survey and prepare (advance) locations prior to arrival of client
Prepare detailed documentation of suspicious activity

Assist Supervisors to develop and produce intelligence-driven support products that assess risk and analyze data/information to mitigate vulnerabilities to Clients' assets, operations, strategy, and brand reputation.
Utilize VSS, access control and alarm monitoring software and systems (Intellicene, CCURE, Lenel, Genetec, Physical Security Information Management System (PSIMS), MS Office applications, and visualization tools (to include building infographics)) on a daily basis.
Maintain a log of all rotating shifts' activities including notifications from security partners.
Deliver concise and effective information in order to inform and direct security responders and dispatch security elements to areas of concern.
Understand the operation of all communications and information technology hardware, software and firmware utilized to perform security monitoring functions, including radio transmissions and using notification platforms.
Take responsibility for all assigned tasks.
Maintain inventory of SOC supplies and submit requests to the Supervisor.

QUALIFICATIONS
Must possess a minimum of a High School diploma or equivalent from a U.S. Accredited School. Foreign education must be evaluated to meet U.S. education requirements.
Must have a minimum of 2 years of experience working in a security environment or dispatch center.

Effective writer, verbal communicator, and proficient with English composition.

About this position:
We are seeking a qualified full-time Senior Security Officer to provide leadership and guidance to a staff of security officers responsible for Campus and Waterfront operations, including patrolling the grounds, safeguarding public safety and securing the facilities on Campus and at the Waterfront Park.

The unit works 365 days a year on multiple shifts and operates 24 hours a day. This opening is for 3rd shift (11 pm - 7 am, Sundays and Mondays off) and is located at Seattle Center Campus.

Requirements
Minimum Qualifications

Pay Rate: $29.00 per hour ($24.00 + $5.00 H&W)

Qualifications:
U.S. Citizenship
18 years of age or older
High School Diploma or equivalent
Prior military, civilian, or security officer experience preferred but not required.
Successful completion of all training and obtaining all required permits, licenses, certifications and security clearances for the site.
Required Skills:
Ability to speak, read, write, and understand the English language fluently
Ability to follow written rules, detailed orders, instructions, and training material
Excellent customer service skills in phone and face to face conversation, with excellent written and spoken command of the English language
One of the following clearances are highly preferred:
Active Tier 3 Security or Top Secret Clearance
Active Tier 4 BI
Active Tier 5 Top Secret w/SCI eligibility
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
To perform this job successfully, Officers must be able to perform each essential duty up to the standards of OSG.
Accompany personnel to designated areas, remain with them, ensure all required duties are performed, and escort personnel out of a secured facility.
Follow all company personnel and safety policies, and perform all assigned duties in a safe manner.
Arrive at work at the designated time in proper uniform and carrying necessary issued equipment.
Carry out general and special orders for assigned post(s).
Communicate via radio, telephone, and in-person, according to orders.
Take responsibility for the cleanliness of uniforms and assigned equipment.
Professionally escort and interact with public and government personnel.
Meet, greet, and interact professionally with employees, VIPs, and the general public.
Maintain poise and self-control under stress.
Construct and write clear, concise, accurate, and detailed reports in English.
