The Armed Security Officer reports to the Assistant Director / Captain - Patrol or Captain - Gilcrease and is responsible for carrying out basic security functions to ensure safe and effective prevention, response, and recovery from threats to the University of Tulsa students, faculty, staff, and guests. Essential Functions (Responsibilities): Patrol Informs the Lieutenant-Patrol, Armed Security Officer Lead, or supervisor of any unusual situations or circumstances that come to their attention. Patrol assigned areas securing scheduled buildings and ensuring safety of university property. Assists stranded motorists by jump-starting batteries, changing flat tires, and pushing disabled vehicles.
