The Work:
Due to local mission requirements, an active Top Secret clearance within a 5-year scope, or the eligibility to reinstate a TS clearance w/5-year scope and the ability to obtain and maintain SAP access(es) is required.
The selected candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day site security operations including but not limited to:
- Administering the SAP Nomination Process by processing, logging, and preparing incoming and outgoing SAP Nomination packages.
- Conduct annual SETA requirements in conjunction with the program off sites; provide security indoctrination, debriefings, pre/post Travel briefings and annual refresher briefings as necessary.
- Classified document control to include maintenance of logs tracking documents in transition.
- Investigate security violations and submit required reports to the government.
- Administrative Security functions such as organizing and filing all administrative program security paperwork.
- Maintaining all end of day logs, safe checks, visitor logs and pass down logs.
- Assist the government with physical security and provide security escorting for uncleared personnel as required.
- Process and track incoming and outgoing Visit Authorization Requests.
- Conduct self-inspections; manage preparations for and representation of security inspections and audits by government security personnel.
- Assist the Lead CSSO with additional security support as required by the RMS Advanced Programs Manager and the local Customer.
US citizenship required as most programs and projects assigned are ITAR restricted.

Job Responsibilities
Provide a professional and courteous experience to patients, staff, and visitors by offering assistance, maintaining visibility, and creating a safe environment

Experience:

Essential Functions:

5. Assists in transporting patients within the building or to and from vehicles as requested by nursing personnel. Responds promptly and courteously to calls for assistance by hospital /campus personnel. Observes the buildings and grounds closely during patrols looking for unsafe conditions and reports same to supervisor.
6. Required to restrain patients, visitors, or employees when necessary to protect personnel or property, or when advised by nursing personnel to assist in treatment of a patient.
7. Completes detailed reports of incidents occurring during work shift and submits same to supervisor. Completes a minimum of eight (8) hours continuing education per year on security related issues.
8. Utilizes time to departments' best advantage and in a manner involving the coordination of tasks that helps achieve high quality work and services and maximize productivity and efficiency. Performs other duties as assigned

Job Description:
Maintain high visibility as a visual deterrent to crime and criminal element.
Answer routine questions for directions and handle minor problems.
Monitoring the entry and exit of personnel at Client Agency facilities
Observe and immediately report situations to the appropriate personnel, and/or emergency services via telephone, radio or any means possible.
Immediately contacting local law enforcement or emergency personnel by calling 911 (or 9-11 from a state phone) in the case of: assault, burglary, robbery, vandalism, or any suspicious activities, a seriously injured or ill person like a heart attack, store, or seizure and fire or smoke
Inspecting facilities to ensure doors, windows, roofs and lights are secure and not defective
Note any areas where staff is working after-hours
Report any accidents or injuries
Report electrical outages, broken pipes, smashed windows and notify proper department to make repairs immediately.
Protecting state property and deterring theft by physical presence while making security checks throughout Client Agency facilities
Reporting of unusual conditions to the proper personnel, including law enforcement
Maintaining security logs; writing incident reports; and notifying the appropriate Client Agency personnel
Qualifications:
Must be mentally alert and capable of exercising good judgment, implementing instructions, and assimilating necessary specialized training.
Must have the ability to speak, read and write the English language.
Must have the ability to understand and carry out oral and written direction and write accurate and clear reports
Must be able to monitor environmental and electronic security systems.
Requirements:
Basic:
Must undergo a physical examination within six (6) months prior to their assignment.
Must successfully pass a pre employment drug screen examination within six (6) months prior to their assignment and present the results for inspection. The screen must have the ability to detect the use of: marijuana, cocaine, heroin, amphetamines, opiates, and benzodiazepines.
Must complete training in Security and Emergency Procedures, Crowd Control, Irate/Hostile individual and Public Relations
Must undergo training in matters of state policy regarding drug awareness, sexual harassment, workplace violence, discrimination, and prohibition of the use of equipment.
Successfully complete training for operating electronic computer and/or alarm and communication systems.
Must undergo formal training, if necessary.
Education & Experience:
Must possess a high school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
Licensing, Permits & Certifications:
Must have a valid California Driver's License or a California Identification card issued by the Department of Motor Vehicles and carry it in their possession while on duty.
If driving is a requirement for the assignment, a valid California Driver License is mandatory.
Must complete training in First Aid and CPR and maintain current certification that will be carried while on duty at all times.

Must be fully capable of performing the full range of security work requiring moderate to arduous physical exertion under either normal or emergency conditions.
Exhibit good general health without physical defects or abnormalities which would interfere with the performance of duties under the contract
Must possess a good distance vision in each eye, correct to 20/30 on the Snellen chart. In addition to that, must possess normal fields of vision, good depth perception, close vision correctable to Jaeger #4 type test of both eyes, and ability to distinguish basic colors

Prepare reports and records: Prepare various reports and records regarding contract performance issues, such as labor hours worked, accidents, fire, bomb threats, unusual incidents, or unlawful acts that occurred within the court facility area.
Court attendance: Responsible for securing unattended courtrooms, an inspection of courtrooms prior to a proceeding, testing of security devices, and other duties concerning security of the court area.
Preserve order: Responsible for providing security presence in the courtroom, enforcing federal law and judicial orders within the courtroom, enforcing local court rules regarding prohibited items, and providing protection to court proceedings as circumstances dictate.
**Requirements**
Education and/or Experience: High school diploma or general education degree (GED). At least three (3) calendar years of verifiable experience as a certified law enforcement officer or its military equivalency (Master-at-Arms, CGPD, Security Forces Specialist, etc.); all three (3) years must have occurred within the last seven (7) years. The experience must have included general arrest authority.
Language Skills: Must have the ability to read, write, speak, and understand English. Must possess the ability to understand, explain, interpret, and apply rules, regulations, directives, and procedures.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: Must have a valid driver's license from state of residency and a safe driving record for the past five years; Must receive clearance from the Department of Justice. Must have completed or graduated from certified Federal, state, county, local or military law enforcement training academy and able to provide certification as proof.
Other Qualifications: Must be at least 21 years of age; Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check.

Security specialist job in Mehoopany, PA
The Security Officer provides services for a variety of large and small business clients where health, safety and security is our #1 priority. This is a public environment at the Procter and Gamble facility and surrounding areas with the corresponding levels of traffic (employees, visitors, customers, etc.).
**Responsibilities**
+ Personally monitors either visually, electronically or audibly a variety of assigned areas, or grounds by working in a variety of assignments including but not limited to roving inside the facilities, roving in a vehicle, other locations deemed appropriate.
+ Ensures own actions and those of others observe maximum level of safety and compliance.
+ Will verbally de-escalate situations to ensure the safety of fellow employees, customers and clients.
+ Examines doors, windows, and other areas of the store to determine they are secure.
+ Reports and records data such as property damage, unusual occurrences, etc.in accordance with company policies and procedures.
+ Handles site security logistics with incoming & outgoing traffic of employees, visitors, and vendors.
+ Warns violators of rule infractions and may apprehend or expel violators.
+ Notifies on site individuals of visitors wishing to see them.
+ Assists in properly responding to a variety of emergencies or disasters in order to preserve life and property, including but not limited to fire safety, active shooter protocol.
+ May perform routine input or monitoring of safety and life support computer programs.
+ May issue and record ID badges.
+ May check heating, lighting, sprinkling, security, ventilation, fire, etc., systems to make sure they are operational.
+ May also be combined with other position duties
+ Notify supervisor if safety and sanitation standards are not being met.
+ Other duties that are pertinent to the department or unit's success also may be assigned.

**Qualifications**
+ High school diploma or GED equivalent.
+ At least two (2) years of security, law enforcement or military experience is preferred.
+ A valid Driver's License and an acceptable driving record for the past three (3) years to be eligible under NMS' vehicle insurance policy preferred.
+ Must be able to cooperate and work as part of a team with fellow employees, customers and clients.
+ Must be able to make decisions in the moment with little to no supervision.
+ Must be able to be on your feet for 8-12 hours per shift.
+ Contract requires employees to speak, understand, read and write English.
+ Must be safety oriented as this is a safety sensitive position.
+ Must meet and adhere to all safety guidelines and regulations set forth by the company and client.
