As a Secure Asset Technician 1, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the integrity of sensitive test equipment. This position involves close coordination with test engineers, government personnel and facility operators. This is a temporary/on-call position directly supporting the Center for Countermeasures at various locations throughout the US. Travel is expected to occur for all support activities.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Control access to secured areas and equipment, ensuring only authorized personnel enter.
Greet and screen visitors, verify credentials, and maintain detailed visitor logs.
Prepare and submit daily, weekly, and incident reports.
Assist with technician level duties as needed.
Coordinate and schedule travel in support of test activities.
Complete travel and detailed expense reports.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
High school diploma or equivalent required.
5+ years working in or around controlled or restricted facilities.
Experience in security, law enforcement, or military security programs is a plus.
Must be a US citizen.
Must be eligible to obtain and/or maintain a DoD Secret security clearance.
Must have a valid drivers license.
Must live near a major airport and have reliable transportation.
TECHNICAL SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
Proven experience working in a professional manufacturing or test environment.
Ability to quickly adapt and adjust to situations commonly found in test environments.
Proficiency with logistics and travel, experience in a DoD setting preferred.
