We are seeking a seasoned Executive Security Specialist to support a dynamic corporate protection
provides close protection and secure transportation to senior executives
operating in complex and high-visibility environments.
The role requires advanced capability in protective operations, threat assessment, and advance
planning, with an emphasis on proactive risk identification and mitigation. The agent will coordinate closely with Executive Protection, Intelligence, and Corporate Security leadership, as well as external partners, to ensure operational continuity and a seamless security posture across all areas of travel and engagement.
Core responsibilities include conducting protective advances, managing secure transport logistics,
maintaining situational awareness through active intelligence monitoring, and implementing strategic protection plans aligned with enterprise threat intelligence and safety objectives.
Ideal candidates will possess a background in executive protection, law enforcement, military, or
intelligence operations, with demonstrated discretion, professionalism, and sound judgment under
pressure. Strong communication and analytical skills are essential, along with the ability to integrate within a multidisciplinary protection and intelligence framework.
Familiarity with healthcare systems and executive operations within regulated environments is preferred. This is a full-time position based at the Oakland, CA headquarters, requiring periodic travel in support of executive operations and participation in ongoing training and readiness programs.
Job Responsibilities:
Executive Protection: Ensure the safety and well-being of senior executives. This will involve conducting comprehensive site surveys/advances to evaluate potential security threats and implementing suitable countermeasures. Additionally, the Executive Security Specialist will oversee logistical aspects such as transportation, accommodations, and venue security to facilitate the smooth and secure movement of executives during events and travel. In certain instances, collaboration with local law enforcement agencies and external security providers will be necessary to establish effective communication channels.
Executive Travel: Accountable for overseeing executive travel arrangements, both domestically and internationally, throughout events and corporate offices. This entails devising and executing security protocols and procedures, liaising with local law enforcement agencies and security consultants, and working closely with a team of executive protection specialists to safeguard executives during their travels.
Collaboration: The Executive Security Specialist will collaborate with other departments, stakeholders, or vendors to ensure that the executive protection program aligns with the overall security strategy of the company. This may include working with Executive Staff, HR, Legal, and IT departments to ensure that security policies and procedures are properly integrated into the company's overall operations.
Administrative Activities: Completing required compliance documents, mandatory company trainings, vendor access requirements.
Professional Training and Development: Completing recertification training, participating in advanced skills training as directed, pursuing new product training, advancing qualifications.
Financial Responsibilities: Minor financial management for regional allotment, under supervision and approval from the Director of Executive Protection.

Minimum Qualifications
Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills are required to effectively interact with executives, colleagues, and external parties. Executive Support Specialist must be capable of providing clear instructions, maintaining open lines of communication, and defusing tense situations using effective communication, and de-escalation techniques.
Discretion and Confidentiality: Demonstrated the ability to handle sensitive information and maintain strict confidentiality is vital in this role. Executive Support Specialist must exercise discretion in all interactions and maintain the privacy and confidentiality of the executives they protect.
Education: High school diploma, or equivalent. Additional relevant education or training in law enforcement, security management, risk assessment, or related field
Work Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in executive protection, close protection, or a related field (physical security will not be considered as experience)
Licenses/Training: California BSIS Security Guard Card & Exposed Firearms Permit, BLS First Aid/AED Adult & Children
Training: Completion of Recognized Executive Protection training academy/program. Acceptable training academies include Gavin de Becker, AUS, PFC, R.L. Oatman, EPI, Gov/Military/LEO PSD training programs
Skills/Specialized Knowledge: Proficiency in utilizing communication software such as Microsoft Teams, Excel, and Word. Strong report writing, including the development of security planning documents, country reports, and risk assessments

Under the direction of the Chief of Police or his/her designee, the Institutional Police Officer works in the San Francisco Community College District Police Department and acts as a peace officer pursuant to Section 830.32(a) of the California Penal Code and Section 72330 of the California Education Code. The San Francisco Community College District Police Department is a Peace Officers' Standards and Training (P.O.S.T.) participant. Responsibilities and Job Duties:
Maintain law and order within and surrounding City College campuses and other district sites.
Provide a safe and secure environment for the students, faculty, staff and visitors.
In a professional and courteous manner; respond to all emergencies on District property.
Uphold the laws and statues of the State of California, municipal and criminal, enforce state and local ordinances, rules and regulations related to the San Francisco Community College District.
Provide assistance and /or first aid.
Perform traffic control and investigate traffic collisions.

This classification may require maintaining physical condition necessary for walking, standing, running or sitting for prolonged periods of time; bending, stooping, kneeling, crawling; moderate to heavy lifting and carrying; possible exposure to physical injury and other dangers inherent in police work. Must possess satisfactory hearing capabilities and visual acuity of at least 20/100 correctable to at least 20/30 in each eye. Officers are required to wear police uniforms, a bullet proof vests, and required police gear.
Officers are required to work flexible shifts, rotating shifts, weekends, and holidays. Officers may be assigned to any of the district campuses under the department policy and/or at the discretion of the Chief of Police.
The department currently operates two shifts: Day shift and swing shift. Shifts are 5 days/8 hours per day or 4 days/10 hours per day: 7 days a week.
Qualifications
Education: High School diploma or equivalent (GED or High School Proficiency Examination); AND
Experience: One (1) year of experience as a police officer, member of a military police unit or other work involving the safeguarding of life and property; AND
License and Certification:
Requires possession of a valid California Driver License; AND
Possession of a Basic P.O.S.T. Certificate (issued by California Department of Justice, Commission of Peace Officers Standards and Training) will be required prior to field work assignment and within twelve (12) months of hire date, as a condition of employment.

Job Summary

Minimum Qualifications
* High school graduate, passed the GED or other high school equivalency test, or obtained a two-year, four-year, or advanced degree from an accredited or approved institution.
* At least 21 years of age except as provided by Government Code § 1031.4.
* Be legally authorized to work in the United States under federal law.
* Free from any physical, emotional, or mental condition, including bias against race or ethnicity, gender, nationality, religion, disability, or sexual orientation which might adversely affect the exercise of police powers (11 CCR 1954; 11 CCR 1955).
* Free of hate group memberships, participation in hate group activities, or advocacy of public expressions of hate within the previous seven years, and since 18 years of age, as determined by a background investigation (Penal Code § 13681).
* POST certification that has not been revoked, denied, or voluntarily surrendered pursuant to Penal Code § 13510.8(f).

Salary and Benefits
Starting salary placement depends on qualifications and experience and is anticipated to be in the range of $7,888 to $8,069 approved a month. This is a full time, non-exempt position, which will lead toward permanent status following the successful completion of a probationary period.

9. Search the inside of the vehicles for weapons, explosives and other deadly or dangerous items just prior to loading catering carts.
10. Escort all catering carts from the time the monitoring/inspection is completed until the carts are loaded onto the transport vehicle.
11. After concluding the search and loading, close and seal all carts with tamper evident security seals.
12. The air carrier or representative meeting the carts at the aircraft will inspect the seal for signs of tampering prior to breaking it.
13. In the event a seal shows signs of tampering or are discovered broken, the suspect cart must be searched for weapons, explosives, and other dangerous devices prior to loading on aircraft.
14. All seals must be stored in a locked container and protected from unauthorized access.
15. Notify or ensure immediate Law Enforcement Officer and/or Airline Ground Security Coordinator notification when necessary.
16. Ensure safe handling of dangerous or deadly weapons/objects discovered until arrival of the Law Enforcement Officer.
17. Contact Law Enforcement Officer if items of contraband (illegal items) are discovered during the screening process. Maintain control of items until arrival of the L.E.O.
18. Report all Government tests, real weapons, injuries and other major incidents to supervisor immediately.
19. Keep supervisor informed of needs and problems in assigned areas, maintain cleanliness of immediate work area and report maintenance needs.
20. Project a positive image and respond to inquiries from clients, staff and public in a courteous manner.
21. Attend meetings and in-services as required.
22. Utilize appropriate communications channels and maintain records, reports and files as required.

SELECTION
All applications will be carefully reviewed. The selection process will include a physical ability test, an oral interview and a personal history review. Successful applicants will be placed on a list of qualifiers. Based on position on the list, applicants will complete a polygraph or Computer Voice Stress Analysis (CVSA) Examination and intensive background investigation. Successful candidates will be scheduled for an interview with the Department Director. Those passing will be given a conditional job offer and scheduled for a medical and psychological examination. The entire process should be completed within 90 days. The physical ability performance test is mandatory and only given to those applicants who are applying for the position of police officer. The test has been developed by POST as a standard to measure physical characteristics of strength, endurance, and the agility necessary to perform job-related functions of a police officer. The applicant must pass all parts of the test within the allotted time period. The test shall be scored as pass or fail.
1. Elements of the physical ability performance test are:
Obstacle Course/Agility Run: Run a 99-yard obstacle course consisting of several sharp turns, a number of curb-height obstacles, and a 34-inch-high obstacle that must be vaulted.
Body Drag: Life and drag a 165-pound lifelike dummy 32 feet.
Solid Fence Climb: Run 5 yards to a 6-foot solid fence, climb over fence, and continue running another 25 yards.
500 Yard Run: Run 500 yards

Must possess satisfactory hearing capabilities and visual acuity of at least 20/100 correctable to at least 20/30 in each eye. Officers are required to work flexible shifts, rotating shifts, weekends, and holidays. Officers may be assigned to any of the district campuses under the department policy and/or at the discretion of the Chief of Police.

Position Summary
The University Police Department (UPD) is responsible for enforcement of all laws, apprehension of violators, maintenance of order, preservation of human life, protection, and safety services to the SF State community. It is our goal to provide a safe environment for our campus community through proactive, progressive and professional law enforcement services. Our approach places an emphasis on public services and crime prevention. UPD is a progressive customer service-oriented department that encourages employee participation, innovation, and leadership. UPD is dedicated to the university's strategic plan, committed to staff development, and promoting new innovative ideas while continuing to incorporate community-oriented policing and problem-solving strategies. Under the direction of a Police Sergeant, the incumbent is expected to perform law enforcement duties including: foot, bicycle and/or vehicle patrol of SF State campus, residential properties and surrounding community; investigate and prepare preliminary investigation reports; issue citations; make arrests; assist in the prosecution of violators of law; provide crime prevention information; and serve as a proactive resource to a uniquely diverse community. The incumbent may also work as part of a security detail with civilian and other law enforcement agencies at university and special events. The incumbent has the opportunity to participate in a number of special assignments such as bicycle patrol, various training instructor positions, detective work, background investigations, crime prevention, field training officer, motors and various lead officer positions.
Position Information
Protection of Life, Property and Facilities
•Patrol campus and surrounding area(s) on foot, bicycle or by vehicle. Answer calls for service.Protect persons, property and facilities.
•Provide security for large gatherings, assemblies or other activities such as registration, athletic events, or social events.
•Participate in emergency preparedness, crime prevention and safety programs.
Investigative Support
•Conduct investigations related to assigned cases or incidents that occur on or near campus during the assigned shift, and take necessary action within the limits of existing laws, policies and procedures.
Administrative and Report Support
•Participate in crime prevention activities, enforce laws, traffic regulations, apprehend and arrest criminal violators on or off campus.
•Provide general information and assistance to faculty, staff and students and the general public.
•Train new officers and civilian employees as assigned.
•Prepare reports covering observed irregularities, violations of the law, or campus regulations.

Minimum Qualifications
Knowledge and Abilities:
•Must hold a valid California Driver's License as well as continued completion and compliance of the CSU Defensive Driver's Training course throughout employment. Incumbent must maintain current licenses, certificates, permits, or other items required for this position; and immediately report to supervisor the loss or expiration of same.

Preferred Qualifications
Minimum Standards for Police Officer Candidates (California Government Code Section 1031):
•Must have no felony convictions.
•Must have no misdemeanor convictions containing elements of domestic violence.
•Must successfully complete P.O.S.T. Background Investigation, polygraph, medical and psychological exams, fingerprint and records check including local, state and federal criminal records.
•Must satisfy citizenship requirements detailed in Government code 1031 (a) and 1031.5. Be a U.S.citizen, or a permanent resident alien who has applied for citizenship and obtains citizenship within three years of application date.
•Must be a minimum of 21 years of age by the time of sworn appointment.
•Must have good moral character as determined by a thorough background investigation which will be conducted as prescribed in the POST Administrative Manual, and must be completed prior to appointment date.
•Must be free from any physical, emotional, and mental condition, which might adversely affect the exercise of powers of a police officer.
•Must be able to read and write at the levels necessary to perform the job of a police officer as determined by the use of the POST Entry-Level Law Enforcement Test Battery or other job-related tests of reading and writing ability.
•Possession of a valid Certificate of Completion of the Basic Police Academy is required at the time of the appointment.
•Working knowledge of public safety, including law enforcement methods, traffic control, arrest and safety procedures in a campus environment, existing criminal codes, law, etc.
•General knowledge of crime prevention, first aid and CPR.
•Ability to quickly learn and apply campus rules and regulations, asses law enforcement or other hazardous situations, determine an appropriate course of action, prepare clear and concise procedural reports, maintain cooperative and working relationships with the campus community general public, and local and state police agencies.

JOB DESCRIPTION:
The District Police Department at Santa Rosa Junior College is seeking qualified individuals with demonstrated customer service skills to join an outstanding team of faculty and staff to provide high quality services to our district, our community, and most importantly to our students.

Key Duties and Responsibilities
KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Examples of key duties are interpreted as being descriptive and not restrictive in nature. Incumbents routinely perform approximately 80% of the duties below.
1. Patrols District property, surrounding areas, and facilities utilized by the District by vehicle, bicycle, or on foot to deter, locate, discover, and apprehend persons committing crimes.
2. Responds to calls related to the protection of life and property, traffic incidents, and other emergencies.
3. Practices de-escalation, crisis intervention, communication, defensive tactics, arrest techniques and other alternatives to assess situations fairly and resolve conflict reasonably at a level proportional to the offense and the totality of the circumstances.
4. Reprimands, detains, cites, and/or arrests members of the public for violations of the law. Transports subjects to detoxification, mental health, or medical facilities, or books into jail. Provides mutual aid and assistance to other law enforcement agencies as requested and/or circumstances dictate. Serves warrants and subpoenas.
5. Conducts preliminary and follow-up investigations of disturbances, criminal incidents, hazardous incidents, vehicle accidents, and deaths. Collects and maintains evidence, interrogates suspects, and interviews victims, complainants, and witnesses.
6. Prepares criminal reports, responds to subpoenas, and testifies in court.
7. Operates the California Law Enforcement Telecommunications System (CLETS) and other law enforcement computer systems.
8. Manages caseload of registered sex offenders, including initial registration, follow up, and coordination with the California Department of Justice.
9. Provides traffic and crowd control, responds to life threatening situations, and provides non-police related support services.
10. Implements district emergency preparedness plan including emergency evacuation plans. Secures perimeters and coordinates fire, medical, communication, utilities, and other emergency services.
11. May collect and transport monies from parking permit machines and meters. May perform minor repairs to parking meters and permit machines.
12. Responds to questions from students, employees, and the general public regarding laws, ordinances, incidents, or services.
13. Prepares and maintains records, reports, and files. Provides documentation to appropriate state, federal, and local agencies.
14. May be given special assignments including cadet coordinator, communications training or field training officer, certified instructor, and/or detective.
15. May provide training for department staff in such areas as defensive tactics, use of firearms, defensive driving, crowd control, use of chemical agents, and other specialized functions.
16. May serve as lead worker to other classified and short-term, non-continuing (STNC) employees within the department.
17. May supervise student employees.

Minimum Qualifications
Candidates/incumbents must meet the minimum qualifications as detailed below, or file for equivalency. Equivalency decisions are made on the basis of a combination of education and experience that would likely provide the required knowledge and abilities. EDUCATION:
Graduation from High School or GED and 60 college-level units required.
EXPERIENCE:
Completion of a POST Certified Police Academy provides applicants with the minimum experience for this classification.
OTHER REQUIREMENTS:
* Must meet state guidelines for minimum peace officer selection standards.
* Must successfully complete an extensive background investigation.
* Must meet the following POST Commission recommended peace officer standards: Completion of approved California basic Peace Officer's Standards & Training (POST) Academy.
* Completion of 16 weeks of Field Training and obtain POST Basic Certificate within one year of initial employment.
* Physical and psychological standards, which include specific vision, hearing and other sensory requirements.
* Maintenance of required California POST standards to include firearms range, defensive tactics, and criminal law.
* Ability to operate a vehicle following POST recommended procedures.

* Constant exposure to situations, which may be dangerous, or life threatening.
* Required to wear various uniforms and body armor, carry and use approved firearms and weapons within the confines of the law in a safe and responsible manner.
* This classification requires the use of a personal or District vehicle while conducting District business. Must possess a valid (Class C) California driver's license and acceptable driving record.

Benefits
Salary: A Step: $7,044.18 to G Step $9,439.67
Retirement: Public Employees' Retirement System using the 2.7% at 57 formula. Current members of CalPERS may be eligible for the 3% at 55 formula.
Medical Plan: CalPERS Medical Insurance Plans, including HMOs and PPOs. The city provides an allowance for the cost of insurance. Many of the plans are free of cost to employees and their families.

Holidays: Since sworn officers may be required to work on authorized holidays, 8.3 hours of leave per month is added to vacation leave in lieu of holiday time off.
Sick Leave: 10 hours per month, unlimited accumulation. Upon service retirement, unused sick leave time is converted into service time for retirement calculations.
Uniform Allowances: Newly appointed police officers are provided body armor, uniforms, rain gear, and duty equipment.
Certificate Pay: Eligible officers may receive an additional salary based on possession of certificates issued by the Police Officers Standards and Training (POST) Agency (2.5% increase for an intermediate certificate, 4% for an advanced certificate, and 2.5% increase for a Bachelor's Degree).
Shift Differential: All employees who are regularly assigned to work the swing shift shall receive a shift differential in the amount of an additional two percent (2%) of their base rate of pay for all regularly scheduled hours worked on the swing shift.
All employees who are regularly assigned to work the graveyard shift shall receive a shift differential in the amount of an additional three percent (3%) of their base rate of pay for all regularly scheduled hours worked on the graveyard shift.
Field Training Officer Pay: Field Training Officers will receive an additional 7.5% of base pay for the pay period while they have a trainee.
Bilingual Pay: If approved, eligible Officers able to pass a language proficiency test (able to accurately translate conversations) will receive an additional $200 per month.
Longevity Pay: Additional 2.5% of base pay after 12 years of service to the City of Woodland and an additional 5% after 17 years of service to the City of Woodland.
Hiring Incentive: An academy graduate police officer would be defined as possessing a California Peace Officer Standards and Training (POST) Basic Certificate. An academy graduate would receive $10,000 in total pay incentives to be distributed as follows: $5,000 upon hire, $1,000 after successful completion of Field Training, $1,000 after successful completion of a 12-month probationary period, and $3,000 upon successful completion of 24 months of continuous service with the City of Woodland.

DEFINITION
Under general supervision, subject to exercise of individual judgment and initiative, to perform law enforcement and crime prevention work; to control traffic flow and enforce state and local traffic regulations; and to do related work as required.
DISTINGUISHING CHARACTERISTICS
An incumbent in this position performs a variety of law enforcement activities during an assigned shift, which may include crime response, patrol, investigation, traffic enforcement, crime prevention and public safety, case presentation and variable shifts. They wear uniforms, carry weapons, drive patrol cars or ride motorcycles and must comply with departmental grooming standards. In addition, they work under potentially adverse and hazardous conditions and are on call.
EXAMPLES OF DUTIES

years of service with the City receive Senior Officer Pay of $100/month.
V UNIFORM ALLOWANCE: $1000.00 annually. Effective January 1, 2023, the uniform allowance equal to $1,000 per year is paid in equal installments of $38.47 per pay-period.
VI HEALTH & WELFARE
A. Section 125 Options - Available to all eligible full-time regular employees.
Cafeteria Plan Allowance-
Medical Insurance:
The City will contribute to the cafeteria allowance for eligible employees in an amount as follows:
* No Coverage/Waiving Coverage for employees hired on or after January 1, 2020: $500 per month shall be added to employee wages. This amount is not compensation for retirement purposes as defined by the California Public Employees' Retirement System. An employee who waives coverage must provide proof of acceptable coverage in compliance with the law.
* No Coverage/Waiving Coverage for employees hired before January 1, 2020: Cash in lieu is frozen at $830 per month and shall be added to employee wages. This amount is not compensation for retirement purposes as defined by the California Public Employees' Retirement System. An employee who waives coverage must provide proof of acceptable coverage in compliance with the law. In the event that an employee in this group purchases health insurance from the City's Cafeteria Plan Allowance on or after January 1, 2020, and thereafter elects to waive health coverage in the future, the cash in lieu benefit will be reduced to $500 per month.
* Employee Only: 100% Kaiser Bay Area medical premium. This amount is inclusive of the City's direct health contributions in Section A1 above. In the event that the Kaiser rate increases 15% or more in any year, the parties shall split the cost of the rate increase above 15% for the plan year.
* Employee +1: 95% Kaiser Bay Area medical premium. In the event that the Kaiser rate increases 15% or more in any year, the parties shall split the cost of the rate increase above 15% for the plan year.
* Employee and 2+: 95% Kaiser Bay Area medical premium. In the event that the Kaiser rate increases 15% or more in any year, the parties shall split the cost of the rate increase above 15% for the plan year.

Employees may purchase medical insurance with any remaining monies after purchasing mandated insurance; if total monthly health premium exceeds amount of any remaining monies, employee pays the difference via payroll deduction.
* Basic $2,000 Group Term Life $0.235 per $1000 - Employee may purchase group term life.
* Additional Term Life Insurance - Available in $10,000 increments between $1K and $750K not to exceed 5 times Annual Earnings for member. Also available for spouse and children. Rates vary depending on age of the employee.
* Voluntary Vision - Superior Vision offers coverage for exams and frames & lenses or contact lenses. Monthly premium varies from $8.14 for an Employee Only plan to $28.40 for an Employee + Family plan.
Any unused monies from the monthly lump sum are applied to wages.
B. Vision Reimbursement Program
Employees and their dependents are eligible for a maximum reimbursement of $200.00 per year for frames or lenses.
VII RETIREMENT - PERS

Employee contribution: 9.000% for Classic Members or 11.5% for New Members
The City pays 0% of the employee contribution. In lieu, the City provides 414h, a one-time, irrevocable option for the employee to elect to have his or her mandated PERS employee contribution picked up by the City. Electing this option authorizes the City to designate the mandatory contribution on a tax-deferred basis.
Bargaining unit employees shall pay three percent (3.0%) towards the employer share of the CalPERS contribution, subject to 414(h)(2). These contributions shall be credited to each member's account in accordance with Government Code Section 20516(a)
VIII PORAC Retiree Medical Trust: The employee contribution to the PORAC Retiree
Medical Trust shall be $200 per month.
* Effective as soon as administratively feasible following ratification and approval all represented employees shall increase biweekly monthly contributions to the PORAC Retiree Medical Trust by $50.
* Effective the pay period including July 1, 2023 or as soon thereafter as administrative feasible, all represented employees shall increase biweekly monthly contributions to the PORAC Retiree Medical Trust by $50.
* Effective the pay period including July 1, 2024 or as soon thereafter as administrative feasible, all represented employees shall increase biweekly monthly contributions to the PORAC Retiree Medical Trust by $50.
IX RETIREE HEALTH BENEFITS: The retiree health benefit for all bargaining unit employees hired on or after November 14, 2022 shall be limited to the PEMHCA minimum.
X HOLIDAY PAY COMPENSATION: Bargaining unit employees shall receive eight percent (8%) of compensation in lieu of observing City holidays. Such payments shall be made on December 1 and June 1. Reporting of Holiday in Lieu Pay for retirement purposes shall conform to CalPERS regulations requiring reporting of Holiday in Lieu Pay allocated to each biweekly pay period.
XI TWO-HOUR PERSONAL LEAVE: May be taken at any time during the calendar year that is agreeable to the employee and department head in lieu of employee taking two hours of holiday time off on the Friday before Easter. The two hours personal leave shall be taken each year pursuant to the above conditions and shall not accrue from year to year.
Effective with 2009 accruals the City is willing to allow personal time be transferred to Association release time bank.
XII SICK LEAVE: Sworn police officers accrue sick leave at the rate of twelve working days per year. The maximum pay out of 50% of accumulated, unused sick leave at the time of retirement, death, or abolishment of position remains at a cash value not to exceed 800 hours of pay.
For employees hired on or after July 1, 2019, there will be no sick leave accrual pay out.
Retiree Health Savings -Effective July 1, 2008, a retiring employee shall place 100% of eligible Sick Leave Cash Out into the City-sponsored Retiree Health Savings Account. This provision does not apply to employees hired on or after July 1, 2019.
