* The incumbent is a uniformed law enforcement officer with full delegated law enforcement authority; responsible for assisting with planning, implementing, and overseeing the law enforcement program.
* Enforces Federal laws and State laws and regulations relating to public lands and resources managed by the BLM.
* The incumbent is assigned a large geographical area of public land and is responsible for identifying and investigating criminal activity occurring on the public lands, apprehending and detaining suspects, and violators.

Qualifications

* Driver's License: Possess a valid, current, State driver's license or be able to obtain prior to entrance on duty.
* Prior experience as a Law Enforcement Officer (LEO): Incumbent must have prior experience as a Law Enforcement Officer carrying out duties involving the investigation, apprehension, and/or detention of persons suspected or convicted of offenses against the criminal laws of the United States.

Qualifications
You must possess one (1) full year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 level that is equivalent in difficulty and complexity as indicated by the following examples: (1). Carrying out duties involving the investigation, apprehension, and/or detention of persons suspected or convicted of offenses, (2) Assisting with planning, implementing, or overseeing the law enforcement program. (3) Preparing/analyzing investigation reports by collecting evidence, witness statements, and other pertinent correspondence. (4) Collaborating with other law enforcement agencies, management and specialists to implement resource protection and law enforcement.
* OR-Education: Successful completion of 3 years of progressively higher-level graduate education leading to a Ph.D. degree or Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree from an accredited college or university in a directly related field that provided the knowledge, skills, and abilities to do the work of the position. e.g., law enforcement, police administration, criminology, or criminal justice. * OR-Combination of Education and Experience: You may meet qualifications requirement for this position with an equivalent combination of specialized experience and appropriate graduate education. This is a primary law enforcement position under the special retirement provisions of 5 U.S.C. 8336 (c) (CSRS) and 5 U.S.C. 8412(d) (FERS). The position is subject to maximum entry age (MEA) requirements. The maximum entry-age for this position shall not exceed age 37 unless you have sufficient prior Federal civilian law enforcement experience or you are a preference eligible veteran. If you are a preference eligible veteran, you may be eligible for this position after your 37th birthday. You must supply a copy of your Defense Department Form 214 (DD-214) along with Standard Form 15 (if applicable) and any associated documentation in accordance with the instructions in this vacancy announcement. Firearm Requirement: This position authorizes you to carry a firearm. Any person who has been convicted of a misdemeanor crime of domestic violence cannot lawfully possess a firearm or ammunition [Title 18, U.5.C., Section 922(g)(9)]. A "misdemeanor crime of domestic violence" is generally defined under the statute as any offense involving the use or attempted use of physical force, or the threatened use of a deadly weapon, committed by the victim's current or former domestic partner, parent, or guardian. The term "convicted", as defined in the statute, excludes any person whose conviction has been expunged, set aside, or pardoned or any person whose civil rights have been restored unless the pardon, expungement or restoration of civil rights expressly prohibits the possession of firearms or ammunition. Applicants who have been convicted of a misdemeanor crime of domestic violence within the meaning of the referenced statute are not qualified for this position. Applicants under consideration will be required to certify whether they have ever been convicted of such an offense.
Must successfully complete 40 hours of in-service training annually.
Must maintain a delegation of law enforcement authority.
All Law Enforcement Rangers who are new to the BLM are required to complete the introduction to Resource Protection Training Program within their first two years of assignment.
All Law Enforcement Rangers will complete the Basic Law Enforcement School (with emphasis on natural resources law enforcement) at the FLETC or an approved equivalent law enforcement training school before they are delegated law enforcement authority. This training must be completed within the first 12 months of appointment. Successful completion of the BLM's Field Training and Evaluation Program (FTEP) must occur within one year of receiving delegation of law enforcement authority. Failure to complete the FTEP will result in the loss of law enforcement delegation and/or termination of employment.
Education
To qualify based on education, you must submit a legible copy of transcripts from an accredited institution with your name, school name, credit hours, course level, major(s), and grade-point average or class ranking. Transcripts do not need to be official, but if you are selected for this position and you used your education to qualify, you must provide official transcripts before you begin work.

Events Security personnel are the front-line people for any safety or security incident that occurs in a City venue.
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
* To supervise main entrances and access points, ensuring only authorized personnel may enter city owned and operated facilities.
* To protect performers, working crew, special guests, and fans throughout each venue.
* To protect the venue from theft and vandalism.
* Guard against theft, vandalism, and acts of aggression to maintain security of the premises.
* To provide regular, high-profile, internal, and external patrols of the premises to prevent and detect any signs of intrusion and ensure the security doors, windows, and gates.
* To have thorough knowledge of city venues and crowd management/control protocol. Must be able to assist team and respond to emergencies/incidents effectively.
* To convey a smart, well-groomed appearance in approved event uniform, provide a first-class customer service and display high levels of vigilance throughout a shift.
* To be aware of, report, and respond to any incidents or suspicious activities. Log incidents through venue log system.

The Rawlins Police Department offers many different instructor roles and specialties such as K-9 Officers, Firearms Instructor, Custody and Control Instructor, Bike Patrol, Drug Recognition Expert, Investigations, and School Resource Officer. Pay and Benefits:
Hiring Bonus: $2000 for new officers without prior experience and $3000 for Lateral Officers.
Competitive Pay: Starting pay for a new officer is $58323.20 a year. Lateral Officers are highly encouraged to apply with starting wages dependent on experience. We offer increased rank pay and paid overtime.
Paid Insurance Premiums: The City of Rawlins pays all employee insurance premiums, a savings of $320 a month and $3840 a year for a family.
Tuition Reimbursement: In addition to providing police and job-related training, we value our employee's education and willingness to improve their skills set and offer a tuition reimbursement program.
Pension: You are eligible for a 20-year retirement at 50% of your top five earning years, 62.5% at 25 years, and 75% after 30 years.
No State Income Tax: Citizens of Wyoming do not pay personal or corporate state income taxes, no retirement income taxes, and enjoy low property and sales tax rates.
Take-Home Cars: The Rawlins Police Department has a take-home car program where each officer is assigned a take-home patrol car. Take-home cars add to the visibility of protection in the neighborhoods in which the officer lives.
Paid Academy: All new officers will attend the Wyoming Law Enforcement Academy. The Rawlins Police Department pays for the academy tuition while also paying the officer's salary. Experienced offices are encouraged to apply and may be eligible for peace officer certification reciprocity.

Job Duties:
We are looking for dedicated police officers to perform various law enforcement duties and maintain public safety. The police officer's responsibilities will include patrolling areas, responding to calls, investigating diverse incidents, arresting suspects, and preparing incident reports.
To be successful as a police officer, you should be in good physical condition to pursue suspects and remain level-headed in stressful and dangerous situations. An outstanding Police Officer should be intuitive and able to exercise sound judgment.
* Enforcing local, state, and federal laws.
* Patrolling assigned geographic zones and responding to calls.
* Apprehending and transporting suspects.
* Interviewing victims, witnesses, and suspects.
* Gathering and logging evidence.
* Writing citations, delivering warrants, and testifying in court.
* Preparing and providing accurate reports documenting incidents and activities.
* Responding to emergency and non-emergency situations.
* Preventing and investigating illegal activities, domestic disturbances, accidents, etc.
Requirements:
* 21 Years Old
* High School Diploma or evidence of an equivalent achievement
* U.S. Citizen
* Strong Moral Character
* No felony or domestic violence convictions
