Steve leads our customer focused, lean start-up that is changing the way industry uses industrial process data. Sliwa was CEO of Insitu, Inc. from 2002 through early 2011. During that time Insitu grew from 4 employees to 800+ employees and $450M in revenue. Insitu is a developer of miniature robotic airplanes or UAVs (unmanned aerial vehicles) for the military and civilian applications. During Sliwa’s tenure, Insitu maintained a 90% market share within its niche with customers and operations throughout the world. Insitu provides UAVs and support equipment but also executes a thriving business model delivering intelligence through turn-key solutions. Prior to Insitu Sliwa had a varied career that included serving as research manager at NASA, founder of an educational software company, VP of Product Development for a public Silicon Valley engineering-software company, and President of Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University. Many of the founding partners at Seeq were with him in previous roles. Dr. Sliwa has engineering degrees from Princeton, George Washington, and Stanford and a business degree from Stanford. He resides in White Salmon, WA with his wife Nancy and enjoys flying his motorglider and TBM turboprop airplane.

Brian expertly guides Seeq's vision for product strategy and intellectual property. Brian has more than 30 years of expertise in engineering technology innovation. Prior positions include co-founder of Ice Energy and IE Technologies, as well as Vice President of Technology for Honeywell Loveland, and Honeywell Industrial Fellow for Product Strategy. Brian has a B.S. in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from Princeton University, and a M.S. in the same from Columbia University. He has founded successful start-ups in software, hardware, and services in a diverse set of industries. Additionally, he holds patents in robotics, software, thermal storage and SmartGrid technologies, with particular expertise in the integration of control, monitoring, diagnostics and knowledge capture for large distributed systems.

Lisa Graham is a Board of Trustees for Oregon Tech (Chair 2015-2020) at Oregon Tech Board of Trustees, Chief Operating Officer at Seeq, and Chair at Oregon Institute of Technology and is based in Bend, Oregon. She has experience at ENERGIZER HOLDINGS, INC. and Capsugel and has worked as CEO and Founder at Alkemy Innovation, Chief Scientist at PARADIGMisr (http://paradigmisr.com), and Vice President/COO at Bend Research. Lisa works or has worked as Chair, Board of Trustees for Oregon Tech at Oregon Tech Board of Trustees. She studied at OREGON STATE UNIVERSITY between 1991 and 1999.

Michael joins Seeq from his consulting practice which provided guidance in marketing, segmentation, and channel strategies to big data and SAAS startups. Prior to that Risse was Vice President of Product Management at Stellr, Inc., a Seattle-based startup developing contextual search technology for the professional app ecosystem. In 2012, Risse was an Entrepreneur in Residence with Ignition Partners of Bellevue, Washington, where he worked with portfolio companies in the big data infrastructure and application spaces. Risse spent almost 20 years with the Microsoft Corporation where his last role was Vice President of the $13 billion dollar Worldwide Small and MidMarket (SMB) segment. He moved to the worldwide role from the United States subsidiary where he was Vice President of the MidMarket segment. From 1991 to 2002 Risse held a series of product management roles on successful Microsoft offerings: General Manager in the Server and Tools Business, Director of Marketing for Visual Studio, Lead Product Manager for Microsoft Office, and Product Manager for the Visual Basic programming system. Risse graduated with honors in Business Administration from the University of Wisconsin in 1987 and completed graduate work in international business. He lives in Seattle, Washington, with his wife Kathy and twin daughters and son, and spends as much time as he can on a bicycle, skies, or trail.
