Our primary goal is to provide exceptional customer service, accounting and administration services to our hedge and private equity fund customers. As a Fund Accounting Manager, you will be responsible for the accounting operations and resolution of accounting issues for clients. What you will do: As the main contact for clients, we will need you to demonstrate your expertise in the area of offshore and domestic fund accounting and administration for alternative funds. You will manage the delegation of funds to your team, coordinate/onboard new fund set ups, serve as a liaison between clients and internals teams, and work closely with all parties to provide accurate and thorough accounting packages. As the record keepers for the fund, you and your team will be involved in the coordination and support of various year-end audit engagements in accordance with GAAP accounting standards. We will need you to perform due-diligence to ensure clients are in compliance with government laws and regulations. You will be required to adhere to our Anti-Money Laundering policies and procedures when reviewing all fund transactions. As a Fund Accounting Manager, you are responsible for ensuring your team is in compliance with our department's rules and regulations designed to stop the practice of generating income through illegal actions. You and your team will generate and reconcile all accounting reporting, such as month-end valuation reports. You will review and approve month-end valuations prior to distribution to client with a goal of 100% accuracy. In addition, you will authorize wire payments from fund's escrow accounts. You will correspond with investment managers and regarding day-to-day inquiries, including questions on transactions associated with the fund(s), administration servicing planning and reporting of funds and financial statements. Client engagement and a dedication to quality service is a must for success. You will connect with investment managers, transfer agents, and sales and service teams to resolve open issues and questions, getting in touch with internal technology support and vendor support when necessary to resolve any production issues or system support queries. You will conduct performance appraisals, monthly one-on-ones with your supervisors and analysts and provide career pathing and training. You will also ensure staffing requirements are met by assessing resource requirements, interviewing candidates and hiring employees. You will provide and champion a team environment to include individual development, promotions and disciplinary action. You will support the new business development and relationship teams for prospect calls, client visits and presentations. WHAT WE DO The Senior Systems Administrator is responsible for supporting and evolving SEI's cloud-first technology foundation, ensuring secure, reliable, and scalable systems that enable over 600 employees across 14 offices nationwide. This role is part of SEI's Shared Services organization and plays a critical role in empowering employees through modern technology, strong security practices, and continuous process improvement. This position is hands-on and autonomous by design, ideal for a Microsoft-focused systems administrator who enjoys ownership, problem-solving, and proactively improving environments. The role is hybrid and requires candidates to live in the greater Cincinnati area. Key Focus Areas Microsoft Cloud & Systems Administration Administer, optimize, and support SEI's Microsoft ecosystem, including Microsoft 365, Azure, Entra ID, and endpoint management platforms. Security Operations & Identity Management Support and enhance SEI's security posture through identity, access, endpoint, and email security initiatives aligned with internal policies and best practices. Operational Efficiency & Process Improvement Identify opportunities to streamline systems, automate workflows, improve documentation, and reduce friction across internal technology processes. Project Ownership & Vendor Collaboration Lead or co-lead application implementations, upgrades, migrations, and proof-of-concept initiatives, partnering with vendors as needed. End User Enablement & Escalation Support Provide occasional Tier 2/3 support for complex issues, ensuring system reliability and strong end-user experiences. THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE Microsoft Systems & Cloud Expertise Strong experience administering Microsoft 365 services, including Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, Exchange Online, and Entra ID. Hands-on experience managing Azure resources and cloud configurations. Solid experience with Intune for Windows and mac OS endpoint management. Ability to troubleshoot complex issues independently in a cloud-first environment. Security Awareness & Risk Mindset Experience supporting or administering Microsoft Defender and related security tooling. Knowledge of identity management, MFA, conditional access, and access controls. Comfort implementing security controls aligned with internal policies and governance standards. Ownership, Curiosity & Process Improvement Proven ability to work autonomously while collaborating effectively with teammates and stakeholders. Strong documentation habits, including SOPs and knowledge base materials. Interest in improving systems and workflows through light automation (e.g., Power Automate). Collaboration & Communication Clear communicator with both technical and non-technical users.
