Your new role
Work on $60-100M+ new, Ground Up, Multi-Family Projects across the DMA
Supervise the construction effort to ensure it is in alignment with the design, budget & schedule.
Develop and strengthen clients' relationships with subcontracting partners and decision makers at local and regional agency organizations.
Manage the on-site safety program
Schedule and coordinate subcontractors and ensure overall contractual performance
Manage the schedule and support the projectmanagement team with the budget
Provide technical assistance such as interpretation of drawings, recommending construction methods and equipment and implementing and maintaining tight quality control.
What you'll need to succeed
Experience of end-to-end, cradle-to-grave Multi-Family Projects worth at least $60M.
To be successful in this role, you must have very strong technical knowledge of the construction process and strong communication skills to work effectively with your subcontractors and project team.
Experience using software tools like MS Projects, Procore, Plangrid or Primavera 6 is also attractive.

Qualifications:
An undergraduate degree.
A minimum of 5 years progressive employment experience in a health insurance organization and demonstrated experience in projectmanagement is required.
Ability to effectively utilize projectmanagement software and other Microsoft office applications (Access, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Candidate must be able to work independently, manage multiple priorities effectively and have excellent analytical, organizational and problem solving skills.
Proven ability to effectively interact and give direction to staff at all levels of the organization, including senior staff, is required.
Excellent verbal and written communications skills are also required.
Independence has implemented a "Hybrid" model which consists of Associates working in the office 3 days a week (Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday) and remotely 2 days a week (Monday & Friday). Summary

Summary:
An Associate ProjectManager at OneDigital assists in the management and execution of projects, working under the guidance of a tenured ProjectManager, Director or hirer. This role involves contributing to project planning, scheduling, and resource allocation, while also monitoring project progress and facilitating communication among stakeholders. The Associate ProjectManager will help manage risks and issues, ensuring that project objectives are met while adhering to organizational standards and best practices. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Project Planning & Scheduling:
Create project charters and plans that outline the project's scope, goals, milestones, timeline, resources, tasks, and expected deliverables.

Facilitate and organize project meetings and working sessions, including preparing agendas, taking notes, and assigning and monitoring action items.
Develop change management plans to ensure alignment and success among end-users.
Executive Sponsor & Stakeholder Management:

Prepare RACI Matrix to clearly outline roles, responsibilities, and deadlines, ensuring accountability and collaboration within the team.
Serve as a primary point of contact for executive sponsors, ensuring they are informed and engaged throughout the project lifecycle.
Establish a regular feedback loop to engage stakeholders, gathering insights and concerns to guide project modifications.
Risk & Resource Management:
Identify and mitigate potential risks, assumptions, issues, and dependencies that could affect project timelines, resources, or outcomes.
Manage vendor relations, including the submission of contracts for approval from executive sponsor, legal, and IT departments.
Facilitate efficient allocation of project resources, including personnel and equipment, to optimize performance.
Continuously assess identified risks and resource utilization throughout the project lifecycle to prevent constraints.
Communication & Documentation:
Promote effective communication among the executive sponsor, project team, and stakeholders to ensure clarity and foster collaboration.
Communicate project changes, decisions, and updates to all relevant parties.
Utilize projectmanagement software and tools to maintain and update project documentation.
Organize and archive project documentation to ensure it is easily accessible, well-structured, and current for team members and stakeholders.
Monitoring & Reporting:
Assess project progress and performance to identify deviations and implement necessary adjustments.
Prepare and present project updates to the Working Steering Committee and Executive Steering Committee.
Implement quality assurance practices to ensure project outputs meet established standards and adhere to organizational procedures.
Complete post-project retrospectives to evaluate successes and challenges, capturing lessons learned to enhance future project execution.
Qualifications, Skills and Requirements:
ProjectManagement Methodologies:
Experienced in utilizing projectmanagement systems (Smartsheet, Asana, Miro) and adept at understanding and applying Agile or Waterfall methodologies based on specific project needs.

Organization and Time Management Skills:

Experience:
2-4 years of experience in projectmanagement or coordination roles.

The typical base pay range for this role nationwide is $50,000 to $60,000 per year.
Your base pay is dependent upon your skills, education, qualifications, professional experience, and location. In addition to base pay, some roles are eligible for variable compensation, commission, and/or annual bonus based on your individual performance and/or the company's performance.
