Prepare the dough in anticipation of the product runs for upcoming batches according to the production schedule.
Check production schedule daily and plan mixes accordingly.
Accurately weigh and measure all hand-add ingredients listed on the formula sheet. Ensure all ingredients used, match the product item number listed on the formula sheet and that it is of acceptable quality.

**Job Description:**
Essential
1. Check schedule for product to be produced. Check forming equipment for proper setup and for cleanliness.
2. Ensure that all lines are started up on time and changeovers are done efficiently in relation to the demands of the schedule.
3. Maintain consistent established wet weights and standards.
4. Inspect all dough for desired consistency and or foreign objects.
5. Keep dough hoppers at a consistent level at all times. Replace broken wires in five (5) minutes or less and make up spare wires.
6. Monitor the oven and band movement.
7. Accurately record batch start and stop times and any downtime on the oven operations sheets.
8. Set and maintain forming speeds in accordance with established standards.
9. Become proficient in the operation of all forming equipment to include tracking of rotary belts and insuring rotary belts are not in contact with the oven band.
10. Operate all forming equipment in an efficient manner so to avoid generating unnecessary scrap.
11. Understand and comply with the allergen policy, attaching a blue allergen tag to the machine and dough trough whenever an allergen is used, and insure the machine and trough is inspected before it is used again after a product is ran that contained an allergen.
12. Understand, observe, and comply with the handling and usage of the color-coded container policy.
13. Assist in labeling and removing all reusable dough from the machine area to the re-usable/out of spec dough holding area. Label with the proper formula number and date of manufacturing.

Quality Assurance Technician

General Purpose Perform tasks related to the testing of products, setting of samples, and following through on various quality assurance programs. Test and inspect products at various stages of the batching and production process. Compile and evaluate data to determine and maintain quality and reliability of products. Use gauges and other devices to verify conformity to standards of products being tested. Work with a high degree of accuracy and concentration to produce valid test results in a timely manner. Ensure that products are produced and distributed to the highest food safety and quality standards.
Job Duties and Responsibilities
* Responsible for efficiently and accurately performing tasks related to the testing of product, setting of samples, and follow-thru on several Quality Assurance programs.
* Familiarity with all applicable equipment and provide quality inspections on all related items.
* Perform of microbiological and chemical testing of finished products, raw materials and associated items as required.
* Involvement in product weight control, lab equipment maintenance and calibration and lab sanitation.
* Maintain communication with other departments and employees as to notify them of any problems and/or concerns that may restrict the efficiency of production.
* Complete all required paperwork in an accurate and timely manner.
* Responsible for adhering to food safety and quality system requirements by committing to meet all pertinent regulatory, customer and SQF requirements.

Job Requirements:
* High School Diploma or equivalent required.
* Associates or Bachelor's degree in related field preferred.
* 2 years related experience required
* Able to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals.
* Experience within the food and beverage industry preferred.
* Has the ability to flavor dairy products, ice cream, and frozen desserts
* Must be able to stand, walk, kneel and bend for virtually the entire shift. Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds occasionally including overhead.
* Must be able to work in a wet environment.
* Exposure to chemicals and nut allergens.
* Must be willing to work flexible hours including overtime, weekends and holidays.

**Job Description:**
III Principal Duties and Responsibilities
a. Properly adjust the wrapper/ Labeler to include machine set-ups involving the former, positioning label machines, setting pause time on crimper, setting film length, setting appropriate temperaures corresponding to different film demands, adjusting the feed chain as needed for product variation and adjusting feed rails to accommodate all product variations as determined by the schedule.
b. Apply labels to packages in a uniform manner according to product specifications.
c. Coordinate and execute change overs in an efficient and accurate manner.
d. Understand and comply with the allergen policy.
e. Assist with the training of new employees Members.
f. Monitor CCPs and CQPs, document appropriately.
g. Weigh and record package weights, label/film changes, and metal detection verifications. Reject substandard product or film.
h. Properly complete all production paperwork as required
i. Understand, observe, and comply with the handling and usage of the color code system.
j. Understand the waste procedures and assist in removal of line waste.
k. Maintain a clean work area and execute any duties assigned.
l. Notify Maintenance, Supervisor or Line Lead of any repairs or adjustments that are required.
m. Thorough understanding of all Company policies/procedures, including GMPs and Safety policies.
n. Follow and promote all safety policies.
o. Assist in the rework of product when necessary.
p. Perform all duties necessary to meet Safe Quality Food (SQF), Company, and/or Regulatory requirements/standards as prioritized by the Company.
