Join our newly contracted Wraparound program serving youth and families in Riverside County as a Bilingual Wraparound Therapist! As the Bilingual Wraparound Therapist, you will coordinate services and planning for children who are referred through social service, probation or mental health departments and are in the process of stepping down from institutional into family or family-like settings. The Wraparound programs are strengths-based, family-driven, flexible, and creative, with the goal of helping the family develop the skills and supports to prevent or reduce the possibility of out-of-home placement of their child. A family-based team addresses the needs of the entire family, not just the child of focus. This family-based team consists of family members, Seneca's Therapists, Youth Counselors, Parent Partners, Facilitators and other community members who have an important role in the family. Responsibilities Promptly meet with clients and caregivers on a regular basis to further treatment goals utilizing culturally informed and best practice modalities. Coordinate with multi-disciplinary teams for the purpose of care planning and support. Collaborate with agency staff, caregivers, other professionals and interested parties to formulate and implement individual client care plans, behavioral programs, and interventions. Cultivate and maintain relationships with community members and providers, as needed. Complete assessment and evaluation process of clients in order to develop and implement the care plan. Provide assistance in case planning and consultation to team members on clinical issues, as well as casework issues, as appropriate. Chart mental health notes, care plans, outcome measures, incident reports, and other documentation accurately and in a timely manner. Maintain availability for crisis intervention services, such as on-call rotation, if applicable. Participate in individual and/or group supervision. Comply with all child abuse reporting and Medicaid/Medi-Cal requirements in accordance with standards set by Seneca. Maintain strict confidentiality of client and business operations information. Commit to and engage in self-evaluation as well as organizational goals, strategies, and systemic practices regarding diversity, equity and inclusion. Qualifications Master's degree in social work/psychology/counseling. Eligible to register/registered with the CA BBS. Bilingual (English and Spanish). At least 21 years of age. TB test clearance, fingerprinting clearance, and any other state/federal licensing or certification requirements. RESPONSIBILITIES Work collaboratively within a transdisciplinary team, including teachers, counselors, specialists, and program leadership Provide individual, group, and family therapy, as well as case management for a caseload of school-referred students Engage caregivers and school staff in the treatment process with regular discussions on student progress and needs Provide crisis intervention, including risk screening, assessment, triage, and service linkage Provide consultation and/or coaching to school staff around student needs and risk management rooted in a healing centered approach Complete required data collection and service documentation to measure the effectiveness of services, inform team decision making, and/or engage in service billing Communicate effectively with families and all others involved in the daily life of the student, including other Seneca programs or outside agencies Utilize crisis communication and de-escalation techniques as per Seneca's crisis response training This may include intervening with the students' behavioral program through physical management QUALIFICATIONS: Master's degree in social work, marriage and family therapy, professional clinical counseling, psychology or related licensure-eligible field Experience working with youth in a mental health or educational setting is strongly preferred Registered or eligible to register with the California BBS required Reliable transportation to and from the school site and other occasional meeting locations TB test clearance, fingerprinting clearance, and any other state/federal licensing or certification requirements SCHEDULE School based schedule: Monday to Friday: 8:30 AM - 5 PM (ability to work occasional flexible schedule when school needs vary) 5 weeks of paid time off, 11 paid holidays, and 14 paid school break days BENEFITS Starting at $73,212- $87,212 per year Actual salary dependent on creditable experience above the minimum qualifications $2000 sign-on bonus for new Seneca employees!
