We invite your to join the Kaiser Wrap team that's supporting youth and families, building relationships, and making a positive impact in the community! As the Family Partner you will focus on supporting families, particularly parents or caregivers, to actively engage in the decision-making process of their treatment. Drawing from personal experience as a consumer of mental health services, you'll building trust and rapport through high-level engagement and alignment skills, serve as a collaborative advocate, and help caregivers navigate county systems and understand perspectives of team members. Services will predominantly occur in-person within Alameda County (San Leandro, Hayward, Union City, Fremont), with the opportunity to complete some of your responsibilities remotely. ABOUT KAISER WRAPAROUND This Kaiser Wraparound Program is a partnership between Kaiser Permanente and Seneca Family of Agencies, providing behaviorally focused mental health services to children and families. The program aims to provide children and their families with the support and services they need for children to maintain the lowest level of care possible and avoid out of home placements (group homes, juvenile hall, and hospitalization). The Bilingual Parent Partner provides peer support, resource connection, coaching, skill building and development to caregivers and families of receiving Seneca's services. The Parent Partner must have personal experience as a caregiver of a youth who has been the recipient of child welfare and/or other behavioral health services (e.g., child welfare, juvenile justice, mental health, special education, etc.). Parent Partners may provide one-on-one peer support as well as in group settings. As a Parent Partner, you will draw upon your own personal experience navigating systems to work individually with youth and/or family members to engage them in the process, increase their involvement, and assist them in achieving their care plan goals. This includes a wide range of activities in order to function as a member of the supporting team as well as provide individual skill building and support. About All In! Program The All-In! So Cal program serves youth and families referred by their local school district. The team consists of behavioral interventionists, therapists, and parent partners. Responsibilities: Provide and communicate guidance, expertise, and support for youth, families, and/or any other natural supports one-on-one and in group settings. Demonstrate high level engagement and alignment skills, to build trust and rapport with youth, families, and collateral supports. Participate in/facilitate youth and family intakes, individual sessions, and monthly Family Team Meetings. Attend youth IEP's and provide progress updates regarding engagement and progress in Seneca services. Work as a “collaborative advocate,” helping youth, caregivers, and family members understand the mandates and perspectives of other team members while navigating through county systems. Work collaboratively with in a team environment to support strong relationships between caregivers, youth and school partners. Use knowledge of community resources, school systems, or other mental health services to help youth and families identify and connect to a family safety network and/or natural support team in the community. Provide coaching and support related to safety planning/self-control plans as well as self-care plans for youth/families. Attend and engage in program and agency-wide required trainings and professional development opportunities to maintain and develop intervention and service delivery skills Complete all training requirements as indicated by supervisor. Participate in weekly individual supervision with the supervisor and bimonthly group supervisions. Maintain accurate and high-quality documentation and paperwork including but not limited to service notes, Family Impact Interview, timesheets, expense reports, and mileage. Utilize crisis communication and de-escalation techniques as per Seneca's crisis response training. Complete suicide assessor training and certification in order to complete screening and assessments as needed. Qualifications: Required Personal lived experience raising your own child or being the legal guardian of a child who has been the recipient of child welfare and/or other behavioral health services (e.g. child welfare, juvenile justice, mental health services, etc.). High school diploma/GED. Bilingual Spanish/English At least 18 years of age. TB test clearance, fingerprinting clearance, and any other state/federal licensing or certification requirements. Valid driver's license, clean driving record, and insurability through Seneca Family of Agencies' insurance policy. Schedule Part-time Monday - Friday: 10am-6:30pm; client driven schedule. 3 shifts per week (8 hour days) OR 4 shifts per week (6 hour days) OR 5 shifts per week (5 hour days) **Monday and Wednesday required work days due to program meetings** Hybrid; provide in-person services & complete documentation remote Benefits Starting at $24.04 - $26.54 per hour.
