About the Role
The Financial Controller is responsible for overseeing our general accounting, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll functions. The Financial Accounting Database Analyst, Senior is responsible for providing technical database analysis leadership. Sets strategic direction of projects related to medium to high complexity databases and/or related analysis and reporting.
How You Will Make an Impact
Primary duties may include, but are not limited to:
* Manages database processes, related analysis and reporting.
* Reviews and approves changes to database coding.
* Prepares and reviews monthly and quarterly financial reports and complex analysis related to these databases.
* Designs research plans for data gathering and analysis; manages projects to deadlines. Initiates and resolves complex database issues requiring technical expertise.

Minimum Requirements:
Requires a BA/BS in Accounting, Finance, or related field and a minimum of 5 years experience in database administration (Access, Teradata, SQL server), general accounting, finance or budgeting and planning in a large for profit organization; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.

Prepares a complete financial statement monthly according to dealership guidelines and the manufacturer's format and time frame.
Reconciles select accounts monthly.
Interpret and complete the financial statement and submit it to the manufacturer
Provides sales and expense analysis for dealership(s).
Ensures that all manufacturer accounts including warranty claims, rebates, interest, protection and co-op advertising accounts are current and accurate.
Prints monthly journals, schedules and general ledger. Closes month by processing accounting month end.

Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Accounting and three or more years' experience as a Controller.
Automotive dealership experience preferred
Proficient at operating a personal computer including Microsoft Office: E-mail, Excel and Word.
ADP Dealer Services Experience a plus.
CDK software experince is a plus.
