Location: Tulsa, OK Work Type: Hybrid #LI-Hybrid At a Glance: The Experienced Senior Accountant plays a critical role in preparing consolidated financial statements, ensuring compliance with GAAP and SEC reporting requirements, and performing detailed variance analysis. This position requires strong technical accounting expertise, analytical skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively across departments. What you will do: Financial Consolidation: Prepare consolidated financial statements for the company and its subsidiaries. Reconcile intercompany transactions and balances accurately and timely. · Compliance & Reporting: Ensure compliance with GAAP and SEC reporting requirements. Prepare disclosure support, including outstanding shares and earnings per share. Complete compliance reports such as government surveys and flux analysis. Develop and implement accounting policies to improve efficiency and accuracy. Audit Support: Assist with internal and external audits of quarterly and annual financial statements. Prepare audit schedules and respond promptly to auditor inquiries. Analysis & Collaboration: Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and improvement opportunities. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate and timely reporting. Special Projects: Perform ad hoc projects and analyses as directed by management. What you need: Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or Management Information Systems Experience: 8+ years of relevant accounting experience. Strong knowledge of GAAP and SEC reporting requirements. Experience with consolidations and monthly/annual close processes. Technical Skills: Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle). Advanced Microsoft Excel and Word skills. Other Skills: Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational abilities. Strong attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines. Effective communication and interpersonal skills. Preferred: Experience in a publicly traded company. Familiarity with multinational corporations. Not a must, but a plus Public accounting experience.
