Position Overview
Under supervision of the Vice President of Impact, the Data Analyst will be responsible for collecting, analyzing and interpreting both qualitative and quantitative data to support the evaluation, reporting, and continuous improvement of UWFM programs and services. Working with both internal teams and external partners, this role will be responsible for tracking metrics and data points in alignment with program objectives and goals. This position may also support project management efforts, keeping track of the progress of specific deliverables and time frames for project completion. This is an in person position in Fresno County.
Essential Duties + Responsibilities
Data collection:?Gather data from various sources, including internal databases, surveys, and third-party data sources
Data cleaning and processing: Identify and fix errors, duplicates, and inconsistencies to ensure data accuracy and reliability. Standardize data formats for collection, reporting, and evaluation.
Data reporting: Support the creation of monthly, quarterly, and annual Impact reports that will be presented to both internal and external stakeholders.
Analysis and interpretation:?Use descriptive and diagnostic analysis and statistical methods to explore datasets, identify trends, and derive valuable information.
Data visualization and reporting: Create reports, dashboards, and other visualizations to present complex information in an understandable way for various audiences.
Collaboration: Work with different departments, such as IT, marketing, and executives, to define data needs and provide analytical support.
Database management: Maintain and manage databases to ensure data integrity and accessibility.
Qualifications
Experience + Education
Bachelor's degree in a quantitative or related field, or 2-3 years of equivalent professional experience.
Minimum 2-3 years of data analysis experience; strong analytical skills; ability to work independently and manage multiple projects; experience with data visualization tools/programs.
Skills & Competencies:
Statistical Analysis: the ability to perform descriptive and diagnostic analysis to identify patterns, trends, and relationships in data. Familiarity with statistical programming languages (e.g., SQL) is helpful but not required.
Software: ability to utilize project management and data visualization software and tools (Power BI, Tableau, or similar) ; Proficiency in Microsoft Suite including advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, charts, filters, etc.)
Critical Thinking - the ability to question assumptions, identify patterns, and spot trends in data.
Problem Solving - the ability to understand a problem and use data to formulate a potential solution.
Communication - strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex data for multiple audiences.
High attention to detail

Responsibilities and Duties:
Outline career data collection timelines and processes for each of the academic programs, catering each timeline and process to the unique requirements and goals for each program
Actively partner with Marshall Career Services staff, academic program staff, faculty, and others to drive high response rates to all career surveys, recognizing partnership and influence are the only way to drive successful completion rates; provide regular updates to all staff around survey completion rates to create a culture of assessment and expectation around driving response rates
Conduct full data analysis, quality checks, resolution of any issues, and work to ensure final results are valid and defendable; complete all mandatory reporting to meet institutional responsibility for career data outcome reporting
Maintain expertise and up-to-date knowledge on relevant career standards, including CSEA, First Destination, or other appropriate benchmarks
Partner with Institutional Research, Admissions, External Relations, or other partners to offer data for dashboards, publications, or other marketing materials
Provide career outcome data to Marshall Career Services team; create career-related presentation decks for associate dean; create on-off reports at the request of the associate dean demonstrating career trends over time or other data points
Continually assess the effectiveness of the data collection tools being used; make recommendations on necessary updates and changes to ensure efficient and effective data collection

About the Position:
The AML/CFT Analyst II supports the Director of AML/CFT in the implementation and administration of the AML/CFT compliance program. The AML/CFT Analyst II performs various quality control reviews and monitoring pertaining to the Bank Secrecy Act, USA PATRIOT Act, Anti-Money Laundering Program, OFAC and Customer Identification programs using industry standards and regulatory guidance to ensure the bank's compliance efforts are maintained daily.
Essential Duties:
Maintains proficient knowledge of current AML/CFT and OFAC regulations, as well as all applicable federal and state laws and bank policies and procedures.
Reviews daily cash reports to identify, and file required Currency Transaction Reports (CTRs), within required time limits.
Maintains files and documentation for CTR exempt customers.
Monitor AML/CFT software daily alerts, trends, and potential unusual or suspicious activities.
Investigates daily alerts and referrals to identify and report suspicious activity on simple to moderately complex cases.
Prepares and files Suspicious Activity Reports (SARs), as appropriate, based on alerts and referrals.
Maintains supporting documentation for all SARs and potential SARs.
Performs timely periodic review and analysis of high-risk customers.
Performs callback of all new deposit accounts to ensure appropriate CIP/CDD/ADD and risk score requirements are followed.
Ensures all supporting documentation for legal entity customers are scanned and maintained in the core system.
Prepares monthly reports for the Director of AML/CFT, covering key areas including high-risk customer reviews, CIP/CDD/EDD callback errors, SARs and PSARs filed, and CTRs filed.
Provides feedback to the Director of AML/CFT for potential control weaknesses, staff training needs, policy, or procedure enhancements and/or ongoing system errors.
Monitors record retention.
Supports the implementation of training programs related to AML/CFT policies, procedures, and compliance.
Contributes to the development of bank forms, notices, and procedures to ensure adherence to AML/CFT regulations.
Aids in the preparation and updating of the AML/CFT Risk Assessment, policies, and procedures.
Assists in managing the AML/CFT software monitoring system.

PLACEMENT ON THE ELIGIBLE LIST:

PRE-EMPLOYMENT MEDICAL REQUIREMENTS:
