Position Summary
The Systems Analyst, under direct supervision, supports legacy technology systems and maintains the technical infrastructure, provides technical analysis and ensures overall operations and automation. The analyst consults with users to identify current operating procedures and to clarify program objectives. Please note this position does have periodic on call schedule.

GENERAL DUTIES
IT System Support & Maintenance:
* Performs analysis of identified legacy applications and business processes/functions.
* Supports assigned legacy applications/systems as required.
* Maintains the databases to ensure continued operation of the legacy applications.
* Works with departments to ensure the legacy applications operate as expected.
* Monitors supported systems ensuring appropriate service levels are being provided.
* Performs system administration to ensure proper configuration and system integrity.
* Supports the maintenance and data extracts of legacy data as requested.
* Assists with the data archiving and system shut down associated with the decommissioning of targeted legacy applications.
* Provides documentation as required.
* Ensures accountability through timely follow-through and escalation as required.
Documentation
* Maintains accurate documentation of all system configurations and other required areas.
* Prepares detailed programming and/or integration specifications as required.
EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATIONS
3 years of hands-on experience with the support of LCMC Health's legacy application systems, programming, and/or system integration support.
EDUCATION QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree in Electronics, Computer Science or other related field of study
