Job Description
The Identity and Access Management (IAM) Business Analyst reports to the Director of IAM Strategy and Architecture within Secure Identity Services (SIS). The IAM Business Analyst is responsible for working with stakeholders to capture requirements and feature requests that drive IAM implementations, partnering with test engineers and developers to define behavior-driven development feature files, and ensuring the alignment of SIS services with business needs and security and policy controls. The IAM Business Analyst will play a critical role in the implementation and support of access control systems, will provide escalated support and subject matter expertise in support of the Identity Management Customer Support team as well as other customers, and will maintain service, process, and product documentation.
Required Qualifications
* Master's degree in computer science, Information Systems, STEM, or a related field or bachelor's degree plus training and work experience that equates to a master's degree.
* Demonstrated ability to be a knowledge leader
* Intermediate level experience as a Business Analyst
* Experience developing business requirements or specifications
* Experience working as a business analyst in an agile development environment
* Basic to Intermediate SQL skills
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Position Overview:
As our Mechanical Analyst, you will evaluate project designs, perform engineering calculations to support modeling activities, and collaborate with manufacturing to optimize and improve design efficiency.

Your Day to Day as a Mechanical Analyst:
* Provide technical project/task specific work including reviewing and self-performing activities.

Pay: $85,000.00 - $134,000.00
The base salary range for this position in Virginia (US-VA) at the start of employment is expected to be between $85,000.00 and $134,000.00 per year. **Position Overview:**
As our Mechanical Analyst, you will evaluate project designs, perform engineering calculations to support modeling activities, and collaborate with manufacturing to optimize and improve design efficiency.

The position will be in the Lynchburg, VA Advanced Technologies Office.
**Your Day to Day as a Mechanical Analyst:**
+ Provide technical project/task specific work including reviewing and self-performing activities.
+ Perform component stress analyses to include ASME and NASA Standard based analyses.
+ Analyze components using ANSYS.
+ Interface with design and manufacturing personnel to optimize and fabricate designs.
+ Utilize 3D CAD (ex. SolidWorks) to manipulate design models for analysis.
+ Perform engineering calculations in support of design/modeling activities.
+ Evaluate and suggest improvements to product designs.
+ Evaluate and suggest improvements to quality related processes as it relates to 10 CFR 50 Appendix B and ASME NQA-1 Quality Assurance programs and design/drafting activities.
**Required Qualifications:**
+ A bachelor's degree in engineering (Mechanical, Civil, Aerospace, or Structural) or physics is required.
+ A minimum of four (4) years of experience in mechanical engineering/analysis is required.
+ Must be proficient in ANSYS.
+ Must be experienced in ASME Section III and Section VIII of the Boiler and Pressure Vessel Code.
+ Must be familiar with NASA Standard 5012B.
+ Must be able to provide clear, concise, accurate and timely written and verbal communication.
+ Must be a strong team player with the ability to develop effective relationships with internal and external customers and suppliers.
