Apply for a Senior Applications Analyst role with IU Health! The hours will be M-F approximately 8a-4:30p with some on-call rotation as needed. This will be a remote position and will be part of the Lab Information Services department within the Anatomic Pathology and Outreach Solutions team!

The successful candidate will participate in leading, validating and supporting interface and other project implementations. Candidate will also aid in run the business applications support. Candidate must have experience with EMR-EMR or EMR-LIS interface experience and be very familiar with HL7 messaging.

Team is responsible for CoPath, ClockwiseMD, Cerner Outreach Operations, Lifepoint and EMR-LIS or LIS-LIS interfaces. Time will be approximately 75% project and 25% support. Strong computer skills, strong verbal and written communication skills are required. Experience with Microsoft's suite of applications is required.
Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience.

* 3-5 years of HL7/interface implementation experience required.
* Prefers experience with databases or clinical applications.
* Requires knowledge of multi-application and system interdependencies

The Senior Application Analyst for Core Banking Operating Systems, deposit, loan operations and back-office capacity. You will be responsible for working with assigned internal clients to assist them in achieving their business objectives through the effective development and support of business applications. Key responsibilities include developing in house applications, obtaining specs for new application needs, implementing applications, and supporting and testing existing applications for various issues and updates. The senior level analyst will have greater responsibility for business application development and design. The incumbent will have recognized competency and work with most complex systems and/or has developed strong partnerships/relationships with one or multiple business units. Responsibilities:

Manage, coordinate, and provide a consultative support approach to the day-to-day functioning of core banking processes and ancillary applications.

· Consult with internal clients to develop application specifications to meet identified business objectives.· Work with internal clients to develop plans for data mapping of new systems or changes to existing systems, processes, interfaces and reports.· Monitor and test new releases and systems, as well as changes and fixes to existing systems, to ensure effective implementation.· Working with limited supervision, analyze and solve moderately complex to complex operational system-related and/or client issues. · Communicate application problems/issues and planned resolution to key stakeholders, including management, development teams, end users and unit leaders. · Prepare documentation of changes for SOX, internal and external auditors, and other regulatory agencies, as needed.· Maintains current knowledge of industry developments including changes in technology and regulations.· Identify and learn appropriate software applications used and supported by the organization. Continually build product knowledge of existing product features and product requirements.Experience/Qualifications:· 6+ years' experience working with a core operating (Banking) system (e.g., support, coding, reporting, deposit or loan operations/back-office capacity)· Education: Bachelor's degree preferred

+ Understanding of banking including, policies, procedures, reporting, and regulations governing financial institutions a plus

+ 3+ years' experience analyzing/interpreting data and solving problems from a business and technical perspective preferred.

· PC/Microsoft Office experience required· Ability to travel and stay overnight as needed· Must have flexible schedule and ability to work evenings, weekends and/or holidays as needed

Senior Application Analyst (EDI) - (22009807) Description Under general supervision, develops and revises procedures to solve complex problems considering computer equipment capacity and limitations, operating time, and form of desired results. Prepares detailed specifications from which programs will be written. Competent to work at the highest technical level of all phases of applications systems analysis and programming activities.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities (include but are not limited to the following):
1. Develops and revises procedures to solve complex problems dealing with computer equipment capacity and limitations, operating time and form of desired results. Prepares detailed specifications from which programs will be written. Designs, codes, tests, debugs and documents those applications.
2. Utilizes techniques for the successive phases of problem analysis. Performs the analysis, research, and resolution of production program problems. Maintains, debugs, and modifies programs.
3. Under moderate supervision, collects, analyzes, and interprets data used in program development to meet the defined user requirements. Prepares detailed specifications for programs of difficult complexity, prepares development time estimates for assigned tasks and is responsible for meeting those estimates. Updates and creates technical and user documentation.
4. Codes programs of difficult complexity, using recommended technologies. Follows the established methodologies and standards. Creates test data to execute all functions of the coded programs and performs integrated testing of all components in a medium-sized computer system. Executes program testing and is responsible for its accuracy and effectiveness.
5. Coordinates between other IT areas to maintain maximum efficiency of application systems. Collaborates with users to obtain feedback on effectiveness of the system.
6. Researches and responds to user questions about procedures, program functions or interdependencies/interrelationships of medium-sized systems. Works with users to improve their understanding, operating, or interdependencies/interrelationships for systems. Starts to develop a general knowledge of several business functions from the company operations perspective.
7. Project administration includes understanding and developing the basic concepts and techniques for planning, organizing, and controlling all phases of a project. Organizes, directs, and assists programming efforts of others as needed. Under close supervision, would plan, organize, and control small or medium sized development projects or programs.
8. Ensures standards and methodologies are followed and quality assurance review is met.
9. Regularly provides guidance and training to less experienced application analysts.
10. May be responsible for completion of a phase of a Project.
Qualifications Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

Bachelor's or Associate degree in Information Systems or Business Administration.
Minimum of 5 Years SAP programming and analysis experience.
SAP NetWeaver Process Orchestration development knowledge is required
SAP ABAP Development experience with RICEF objects required
Solid ABAP development experience integrating SAP in various A2A and B2B scenarios using ALE, IDOCs, BAPIs and Web Services.
Knowledge in ASNI X12 EDI documents 846,850,856,810 is required.
Knowledge in SAP SD/MM/FI and IS-Retail is preferred.
Minimum 5 years of Experience in development with any EDI sub system is required.
JAVA/J2EE development experience desired.
Solid oral and written communication skills is required.
Good understanding of the theories and principles of systems development and the interrelationships of systems.
Partner with Business Process Owners to build/review functional requirements questionnaire and provide estimation for initial prioritization and later engage the team to assess the detailed body of work for effective Sprint planning
Partner with Big Lots suppliers on Vendor onboarding process and be the owner during the life cycle of EDI onboarding process.
Knowledge in VAN connectivity is desired.
Knowledge in Agile methodology is required.
