Develop and lead projects in the VA-DC-MD region from schematic design through construction administration, applying knowledge of the International Building Code (IBC) and local code requirements. Contribute to schematic design and programming; ability to independently generate design solutions from client criteria is a plus. Be resourceful and proactive in solving technical and design challenges. Collaborate closely with clients, consultants, and contractors. Prepare high-quality construction documents using Revit. Ensure design solutions comply with applicable building codes. Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders to solve challenges. Qualifications Professional degree in architecture (B.Arch or M.Arch) from an accredited program. 6-10 years of professional U.S. architectural experience with small to mid-size projects. Proven ability to produce high-quality, coordinated documentation for permitting and construction. Strong design, technical, and problem-solving skills with attention to detail. Ability to independently generate design solutions from client criteria is a plus. Proficient in Revit or Revit LT Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
