Education/Experience Bachelor's degree required. (MS or MBA is a plus) A minimum of 5-7 years experience in software development, data management, and applying knowledge, skills, tools, and techniques to a broad range of life-cycle activities in order to meet the requirements for data projects and process improvement initiatives to include agile development process; cloud and microservices analysis, architecture and design; functional and regression testing; and software configuration. Demonstrated experience with AWS Lambda, Node JS, SNS/SQS, S3, IAM, CloudWatch, RDS, DynamoDB, and Athena. Related Skills & Other Requirements Excellent understanding of data management concepts and best practices, as well as an ability to become an SME in education data. Strong ability to explain advanced data concepts to both database developers and architects, non-technical end users, and senior executives. Experience with cloud technologies especially AWS serverless development tools and architecture. Working experience with CI/CD and DevOps Comfortable with building, deploying, and maintaining web applications in AWS environments (Lambda, DynamoDB, and SQS/SNS). Experience in developing requirements for business intelligence, master data management, and functional data projects. Ability to understand business needs and translate them into technical specifications. Experience with Oracle Database and expertise in understanding and writing SQL.
