Summary:
As a Senior Business Analyst at InsCipher, LLC, you serve as a pivotal contributor to the company's success by transforming data into actionable insights that drive business strategy and operational excellence. Your role encompasses collecting, analyzing, and interpreting large datasets to empower leadership with data-driven decision-making, while uncovering opportunities for growth and cost optimization. Additionally, you are responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining dynamic data visualization dashboards and reports using tools such as Google Looker, Holistics, or similar platforms, ensuring stakeholders have clear and impactful insights at their fingertips. We are looking for someone with practical experience in successfully utilizing advanced product analytic tools such as Google Analytics, Heap, Pendo, etc.
Key Responsibilities:
Use project analytics tools to assist the company in making data-driven decisions (e.g. Google Analytics, Heep, Pendo, Microsoft Clarity)
Utilize SQL queries and various data analysis tools to collect, analyze, and interpret extensive datasets to extract actionable insights and trends.
Build and maintain data visualization dashboards and reports in Google Looker, Holistics or similar platforms to effectively communicate findings to stakeholders.
Develop and manage Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) datasets to ensure data quality, consistency, and integrity.
Identify ROI on different product enhancements and assist in business-casing new ideas for potential investment.
Collaborate closely with systems architects to identify and address data-related issues, ensuring seamless integration and optimal performance.
Communicate insights, trends, and recommendations clearly and concisely to stakeholders across departments.
Identify, track, and analyze Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of data-driven initiatives and projects.
Develop and implement data-driven strategies to drive business growth and optimize operations.
Establish benchmarks in several areas, including but not limited to estimating client cost to service, forecasting hiring and capacity needs, workload balancing, critical path and bottleneck identification, optimization of accuracy and efficiency, etc.
Organize and manage data-related projects, ensuring timelines are communicated effectively to stakeholders.
Experience with A/B testing
Requirements and Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in a science-related field (Business, Engineering, Information Systems, Technology, Statistics, Economics, etc.).
A minimum of four years of experience working in a data analytics related role (preferably with a SaaS or financial services company). Previous job titles we are targeting include Business Analyst, Product Manager, Data Analyst, Product Analyst, Product Owner, Software Developer, Actuary, Financial Analyst, etc. Experience working in the insurance industry is a plus.
Excellent Communicator: demonstrated ability in written and oral form to communicate ideas effectively. A strong propensity for telling persuasive and engaging stories and value propositions.
Do-er: Clear track record of following through on commitments and taking ownership of projects. Demonstrates leadership and resourcefulness.
Loves Numbers: Strong quantitative and analytical skills to support data-driven decisions. Experience building executive reports, KPIs, dashboards, etc.
Collaborative: demonstrated ability to work within a team structure to reach a common goal and consult on operational, product, and marketing initiatives.

What You Will Do:
In this entry-level, developmental role, team members maintain configurations and prioritize enhancement activities for existing CIS-related software applications. Analyzes less complex business problems to be solved with automated systems. Ensures appropriate customer experiences are met with internal and external customers and works on system enhancements and requests based on priority. Ensures deadlines are met and that results are of high quality. Performs assigned rotation for On Call duties to ensure business and CIS processes are functioning.
Assists in identifying, evaluating, and developing systems and procedures that meet user requirements. Learns to execute unit, integration, and acceptance testing. Assists in creating specifications for systems to meet business requirements within the CC&B application. Will act as liaison between the IT development group and business units for the development and implementation of new systems and enhancements of existing systems. Will be assigned to multiple projects. Will be asked to own a project and own the testing, documentation, and related configurations.
Works as an analyst assisting in building requirements and business practices for customer questions, issues, or innovation requests. May prepare communications and make presentations on system alternatives or enhancements.
