TGH is the area's only level I trauma center and one of just two ABA-verified adult & pediatric burn centers in Florida. With five medical helicopters*, we transport critically injured or ill patients from 23 surrounding counties to receive the advanced care they need. The hospital is home to one of the busiest solid organ transplant centers in the country. Other outstanding centers include cardiovascular, orthopedics, high-risk and normal obstetrics, urology, ENT, endocrinology, and the Children's Medical Center, which features a nine-bed pediatric intensive care unit and pediatric kidney transplant services. Job Summary

Under the supervision of the Manager of Physician Relations, provides education about clinical programs and services available at TGH to physicians in primary, secondary and tertiary service areas. In addition to duties of Physician Business Development Representative, assists in the training and orientation of new hires and serves as an ongoing resource to staff. Serves on various service line meetings and committees to represent physician business development. Assists in the strategy and development of the outreach plan. Communicates regularly with Manager to develop new strategies and projects to be implemented for department growth. Coordinates and oversees all department outreach to referring hospitals and physician offices to execute strategies by service line. Provides written reports to administration on a monthly a basis and as needed. Works with department heads to improve physician satisfaction. Serves as project manager and key communicator with vendors for virtual CME's, claims database, Epic Link and works across departments to provide actionable data relevant to the hospital mission and vision. 60% of time involved with travel. This role is essential due to the aggressive growth projected for the service line and plays a key role in creating awareness of the TGH Cancer Institute and connecting our surgeons/physicians to community referral sources via peer-to-peer visits. Responsible to maintain and continue to growth key areas within the Oncology service line. The role is responsible for increasing referrals through physician education and fostering relationships between TGH Cancer Institute providers and community referral sources. This role also helps to resolve referring provider issues and bring key intel back to leadership on any potential impact to our Oncology program.

Qualifications Required Skills

Bachelor's Degree in Marketing or Related field or R.N. license and 3-5 years of experience in Physician Relations or Physician targeted medical sales; or Associate's Degree in Marketing or Related field and 5-7 years of experience in Physician Relations or Physician targeting medical sales.
