Stephen began his career as a litigator at McGinnis Lochridge in Austin, handling business disputes, employment matters and oil and gas issues. He then worked as a corporate and securities lawyer in the Austin office of Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati, focusing on venture capital financings, IPOs, and general corporate matters. His corporate experience includes Schlotzsky’s, Inc., where he initially focused on corporate governance, SOX compliance and securities matters for the publicly traded company. Stephen worked with Roark Capital, the private equity owner of Focus Brands, on integrating the Schlotzsky’s employees into the larger company. Shortly before joining Logix, Stephen was the General Counsel and Director of Finance for EYE Corp., an out-of-home advertising company based in Sydney with operations in Australia, the US, the UK, Singapore, New Zealand and Indonesia. Stephen managed various real estate matters for EYE, as well as litigation and various other corporate transactions. Stephen Erickson serves as our Chief Administrative Officer & General Counsel, overseeing legal and regulatory matters, the human resources department and real estate leases and facilities. Stephen graduated with a degree in English with a concentration in American Studies from the University of Virginia, and from Duke University School of Law. He is based in the Logix Austin office.
