THE ROLE
The Project Manager will lead the planning, designing, permitting, assisting, funding, bidding, and performing of construction administration as it relates to civil engineering water and wastewater infrastructure work. Additionally, the Project Manager will work closely with the client to understand the scope of projects, resolve issues, and provide routine updates on project progress. Project work focuses on water intake, treatment, pumping, storage and distribution, and wastewater collection, pumping, and treatment. These responsibilities include:
Prepares plans, specifications, costs, and estimates for municipal and industrial water and wastewater facilities.
Leverage engineering design software to edit project designs, draft plans, drawings, and models according to project specifications.
Leads and completes engineering design projects from start to finish.
Meets with client board members and provides monthly progress reporting.
Monitors construction progress and provides construction support and on-site observation.
Lead and manage construction administration tasks, including submittal and Request For Information (RFI) review, progress payment review, compliance with funding agency provisions, and oversight of onsite construction project representative staff.
Analyze water/wastewater facilities for system deficiencies regarding compliance with local, state, and federal standards and regulations. Provide improvement alternatives to meet compliance with such regulations.
Assist the Senior Manager in engaging with community members, government officials, and other stakeholders to communicate project goals, address concerns, and gather input on water and wastewater initiatives.

YOUR STRENGTHS

Job Purpose
Serve as new model project leader for North American Paint plant departments. Manage standard new model flow and activities to achieve project targets and improve manufacturing characteristics. At this grade level, you will lead new model development for one or more minor model changes and occasional full model changes with guidance from leadership.
Key Accountabilities
Confirm designs by coordinating with Paint department members and Production Engineering (PEBU) team per project direction. Prepare department status summary and new model impact, and present to leadership in new model evaluations.
Collaborate with Design/Engineering/Business teams to ensure past model reflections and factory characteristics are reflected to the design and manufacturing process development. Negotiate product specification changes with design & engineering teams and submit change requests as necessary.

Design and prepare engineering drawings using Bentley's OpenRoads Designer for roadway and infrastructure improvement projects.
Design horizontal and vertical alignments, open and closed drainage systems, and MOT analysis
and phasing.
Design ADA compliant facilities such as shared use paths, side paths, sidewalks, and curb ramps.
Roundabout design.
Perform quantity and cost estimate calculations.
Prepare construction specifications.
Perform preliminary engineering tasks such as traffic studies, intersection design studies, geometric studies and the development of project reports.
Handle client relations as needed.
Work closely with other V3 disciplines on multi-faceted projects.
Continual development/expansion of cross-disciplinary understanding and design skills.
Collaborate and gain experience and contribute to out-of-state projects.
Successful Backgrounds Could Include:
Must be a degreed Civil Engineer.
5+ years of related experience on projects for clients such as ODOT, County DOT, and local municipalities.
Understanding of ODOT's design process and standards.
OpenRoads Designer Proficiency.
Working knowledge of Civil 3D is a plus.
Previous Roundabout design experience is a must

Role accountabilities:
* Prepare site development plans using AutoCAD Civil 3D or similar software
* Design grading, drainage, stormwater systems, and utility layouts
* Conduct site investigations and feasibility studies

* Coordinate with architects, contractors, and regulatory agencies
* Prepare cost estimates, schedules, and project documentation
Qualifications & Experience:
* 3 or more years working in land development or site civil projects
* Detailed knowledge of relevant national/state standards and codes of practice
* Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering (required) - EIT or PE certification preferred
* Proficiency in Civil 3D, stormwater modeling, and related tools
* Strong knowledge of zoning, permitting, and regulatory processes
* Excellent communication and project management skills

Actual salaries will vary and are based on several factors, such as experience, education, budget, internal equity, project and location.
