The Employee Communications Specialist is responsible for the design and delivery of communications programs focused on informing and educating Electronic Systems employees. As a key member of the Executive Communications team, this individual must be adept at writing across multiple platforms and for multiple stakeholders to drive employee engagement.
Key Responsibilities

+ Manage the planning, content development, editing, and final print and digital publication of the sector s Pulse magazine.

+ Serve as lead editor of sector s intranet pages, responsible for developing and reviewing content. Partner with Digital Communications team on technical aspects to add to overall value proposition to users, and engage employees, introducing new efforts to drive traffic.

+ Collect, analyze and report on key performance data to show value and inform internal communications strategies.

+ Lead development and execution of quarterly One Team employee recognition events, including drafting remarks for executive speakers, creating presentations and videos for use during the event, and post-event promotion.

+ Work closely with the Executive Communications and Employee Communications leads to plan virtual and in-person executive events (panel discussions, Quarterly Leadership Meetings, etc.) to promote company strategy and initiatives to employees.

+ Support other strategic functional and sector-level campaigns as needed, including developing communications strategies, writing content for executive memos and articles, and partnering with Creative team on marketing collateral (videos, brochures, posters, etc.).

+ Report into the Head of Executive Communications and will be a key member of the Communications team in BAE Systems Electronic Systems sector.

**Required Education, Experience, & Skills**

+ B.S. degree in Communications, Journalism, or English and 4 years of experience in a communications discipline (or equivalent combination of education and experience).

+ Strong copywriting and editing skills.

+ Strong writing and verbal communications skills.

+ Demonstrated track record of developing effective internal communications materials.

+ Ability to review, analyze and present data effectively.
