What You'll Bring:
This position requires a College diploma or University degree in a business, legal studies or a related field (or equivalent combination of work and educational experience). At least 5 years of professional work experience functioning in a compliance or risk related function Strong written and verbal communication skills Strong attention to detail, problem solving, decision-making, and organizational skills. Incumbents should also possess above average presentation, communication and writing skills. Ability to perform multiple tasks where priorities shift and determine when to escalate issues.The incumbent must be able to work effectively with associates at all levels within the organization. Ability to work on projects independently and within project groups. Pre-existing knowledge of regulated environments, with an emphasis on consumer issues and privacy statutes.Experience reviewing legislation, legal documents and contracts and monitoring and drafting processes or procedures. CCEP (Certified Compliance & Ethics Professional) certification would be an asset Working knowledge of French would be an asset Some travel may be required. Impact You'll Make:
A breakdown of this position's duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Supporting the various business units and the Compliance team in maintaining compliance with legislation, contractual obligations, and TransUnion policies. Assist/consult with business units in defining, creating, documenting and implementing compliance processes and procedures in their operational areas Create and/or update existing Compliance department policies and procedures.Perform internal assessments against Compliance Department policies and procedures and keep management informed of deviations. Perform external customer audits, analyzing customer access to ensure compliance with legal agreements and internal policies and procedures and making recommendations, including suspensions or terminations, as necessary. Support the Compliance Business Continuity, Crisis Management and Issue Management program Gather data, analyze issues and make recommendations to ensure business unit compliance with existing policies and procedures. May also recommend and monitor the implementation of solutions for compliance issues encompassing various functional areas to ensure adherence to internal policies, federal and provincial regulations and to minimize legal exposure and liability.To assist and participate as a stakeholder and consultant in projects/initiatives where compliance expertise is required.Perform risk assessments on business units to ensure compliance with TransUnion policies, contractual and legislative obligations

The Cable Operations Compliance team sits within the Cable Compliance organization. Our team works with a variety of stakeholders, including Legal, Government Affairs, and Engineering to monitor and assess compliance. The Senior Compliance Analyst will serve as an integral part of the team and will have deep data analysis experience working on high-visibility projects, the role requires cross-functional interactions with a diverse and changing set of stakeholders at headquarters and in the field.

Position Purpose: Assist in maintaining Centene Corporation's Compliance Program. Provide regulatory interpretation, perform compliance reporting, lead special projects, and develop and implement compliance auditing and monitoring strategies.

Strong focus on investigation of allegations of potential healthcare Fraud, Waste and Abuse activity. Researching, analyzing, and monitoring of systematic methods to identify, prevent, review and take corrective action against any provider or participant who is suspected in participating in FWA activities. Assist in ensuring the health plan is compliant with regulatory requirements for program integrity, execute and organize claims investigation or audits that identify, evaluate and measure potential healthcare fraud and abuse. Be able to interfaces with regulators, as well as supports investigations and reporting referrals to regulators.

• Respond to external requests for information required by the organization for its regulatory filings.

• Respond to inquiries from state and federal regulatory agencies.

• Monitor pending legislation and regulations affecting Centene Corporation services.

• Maintain database and other reference materials related to legislative and regulatory issues and compliance.

• Communicate state and federal requirements to internal and external clients.

• Provide development guidance and assists in the identification, implementation, and maintenance of compliance policies, procedures and work instructions.

• Assist in the identification, analysis, and resolution of compliance issues.

• Maintain and reviews regulatory documentation necessary to maintain corporate standards.

• Assist in developing, producing and conducting compliance training programs.

• Perform periodic compliance audits, risk assessments and conducts related ongoing compliance monitoring activities.

• Assist health plans in managing relationships with regulatory agencies and seek to resolve policy issues which may negatively impact service to members.

• Plan, direct and coordinate the implementation of Compliance Committee policy to ensure decisions are properly executed.

• Serve as a company wide resource and liaison on policies, contract issues and provisions, communications, workflow, and quality improvements initiatives.

Education/Experience: Bachelor's degree in related legal field or equivalent experience. Master's or Juris Doctorate degree preferred and maybe considered in lieu of experience.. 3+ years of related experience in compliance privacy and/or regulatory affairs. Experience in project management with working knowledge of laws and/or regulations in area of compliance, in particular HIPAA, and state regulations.

Certifications: Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) Certification strongly preferred.
