What you will do:


The End User Computing Analyst performs maintenance and integration activities as they relate to the end user computing environment inclusive of desktops, laptops, monitors, peripherals, security, inventory, and asset management. Responsible for the installation, repair and preventative maintenance of personal computers (PCs), printers, and peripheral equipment (for e.g. scanners).Performs all installations, upgrades and may perform backups of software and hardware applications.Troubleshoots software and hardware failures and identifies network problems when they relate to PCs, printers, and peripheral equipment. The Sr. End User Computing Analyst II provides advanced technical support and problem management to end users on complex issues regarding end user computing operations including installations, moves, adds, system status, etc.Under minimal direction, provides third level end user computing support for issues that have not achieved resolution and have subsequently been escalated. Coordinates configuration/installation and troubleshooting of end user computing hardware and software.Implements new hardware and performs software testing, helping to establish and maintain NorthShore standards.Provides remote PC support and troubleshooting on issues that are not able to be resolved by the on-site Analyst. Provides status reports, problem summaries, and project status as required.Performs a variety of complicated tasks and may lead and direct the delivery of work by others.Acts as technical lead analyst for special projects involving the deployment and installation of end user computing equipment across the HealthSystem.A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected as well as critical problem solving is required.

Responsibilities

* Supports complex and modern end user computing solutions.
* Understands and promotes end user technology standards for hardware, OS, core applications, and peripherals.
* Support end user architecture to evaluate, establish, integrate and maintain end user technology applications used to manage desktops, laptops, virtual desktops, virtual applications and mobile devices.
* Serves as the technical resource for technologies which may span the enterprise. Leads complex troubleshooting efforts and root cause analysis.
* Supports end user architecture to proactively automate, streamline and simplify processes and routine tasks.
* Creates and updates system documentation for operations, and support teams.
* Participates in multiple cross company projects and initiatives that impact the end user computing solutions and experiences.
* Must possess excellent organizational skills and demonstrate attention to detail.
* Ensure solutions and strategies are in alignment with up-to-date security standards.
* Identify and implement improvements including standardization, automation, and optimization of services to reduce costs and improve delivery speeds
* Establish and maintain technology standards, templates, and technical documentation as necessary

Requirements

* Bachelor's degree or higher in relevant field.
* Overall 8+ years of IT experience
* Experience working with IT end user management, applications/procedures and processes.
* Solid understanding of Mac OS, Windows OS, software upgrade process
* Proficient in troubleshooting Mac and Windows, along with core aenterprise / management capabilities, including but not limited to: JAMF, AD, Intune/MDM, 0365, Azure VDI
* Experience participating in projects in a cross-functional environment.
* Creating software packages in SCCM and overall knowledge of administration
* Working knowledge of Citrix/VM Ware (VDI-Horizon) and other terminal/virtual environments
* Understanding and managing AD groups & policies
* Working experience in integrating hardware devices from all aspects, security, reliability and operations
* Coordinating with Application & Infra owners / Security Team
* Knowledge and administration of Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM) and similar deployment tools
* Power-shell scripting experience a plus
* Well versed in all Microsoft environments, System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM), Active Directory, PowerShell, Intune/MDM, App-V and Software Packaging (MSI)
* Experience in providing KPIs using ITSM tools such as ServiceNow
* Solutioning ITAR, EAR and other U.S Government related projects which require a U.S. Citizenship a must for this position.
* U.S Government Cloud experience a huge plus

**Description:** The selected candidate will be part of a team that reports to the C2BMC Watch Officer \(CWO\) and performs daily system monitoring, operations and maintenance of the C2BMC systems in a 24x7 operations and test environment\. The candidate will provide first level technical support to the warfighter and perform initial troubleshooting of all local C2BMC hardware, software and networks\.

The candidate will document and report all events/issues to the CWO and receive tasking and direction from the CCC for all operations, test & real world events\.

The candidate will also assist in all hardware/software installations as directed by the local SMEs and create and maintain user accounts per Cyber policies directed by the local ISSO\.
• Performs other duties and assignments as required\.

Position requires 24x7 rotating shift work\. Candidate will be assigned to a shift and assignment in Ops or Training; to be determined by mission requirements\. Some substitute rotation during off\-shifts, including nights and weekends will be required\.

**Basic Qualifications:**

\*\*Must currently hold an ACTIVE Secret DoD Security Clearance to be considered for this position\*\*

• Must meet DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification requirements \(Security \+ CE, CySA\+, GICSP, GSEC, SSCP, CCNA Security\)\.

• Sound background and experience with operations and maintenance of large\-scale computer and communications systems/networking environments\.

• Must have a background and have experience in system and/or network administration that include the following \(UNIX, Linux, Windows, Cisco and Juniper\)\.

• Sound background and experience in troubleshooting hardware and software components\.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint\.

**Desired Skills:**

• TS/SCI Preferred

• Software support/installation experience as well as knowledge of 24x7 operations and maintenance processes at Regional and Combatant Command Centers \(PACOM, NORTHCOM etc\.\) is desirable

• Knowledge of Missile Defense Systems and procedures is a plus\.

• Experience and knowledge of C2BMC System or Missile Defense Systems
