Sumaria requires a Senior Configuration Manager to support the F-16 program office.

* Provide technical/logistics support services for F-16 systems, subsystems and programs in the areas of avionics, mechanical systems and structures; assist with CM technical data for specific country F-16 aircraft system and sub-systems; provide assistance to identify country specific baseline configurations; and, track and document country specific system and sub-systems configuration. Tasks include the actions and documentation required to monitor and track Time Compliance Technical Orders (TCTOs) necessary in correcting deficiencies such as operating instructions, overhaul or repair procedures, and/or modifications to the aircraft
* Provide support for technical input and recommendations for validation and verification aspects of the development and fielding of various Government and commercial publications and serve as the Single POC for country specific systems; participate as a CM member of Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) to ensure CM is addressed; facilitate recommendations on program milestones and schedules, identify and assess risks, develop work breakdown structure (WBS), form/fit/function/interface and Class I vs. II determinations; coordinate with applicable functional groups to ensure CM processes and procedures are followed; assist with development and maintenance of technical data
* Support trial installations, kit proofs, and TCTO/tech data verification; facilitate report findings, kit issues, corrective actions, and make recommendations to the responsible modification manager or Program Manager (PM); provide support to USAF material managers and prime Contractors to provide assistance in development of an accurate listing of recommended spares and support equipment items for sustainment of the F-16 fleet
* Support coordination, program management and program review meetings; assist with the preparation of technical material, management presentations and informational material in support of meetings, minutes, agendas, and compilation of briefings
* Assist in the review of technical data, drawings, and specifications to determine sources of manufacture and repair/maintenance; analyze and evaluate minor deviations in technical requirements
* Participate as a member of the F-16 Configuration Control Process (CCP); facilitate support to receive, track and distribute CM Documentation for the F-16 CCP processes, which includes: JMCCT/B, MSP, and fielding design (FD); assist with the review of CM proposals for adequacy (proper format and completeness), including updating the single thread tracking system (STTS) as necessary
* Support the Technical Review by coordinating participation of all members, preparing and distributing briefing charts or other items of discussion, setting up meeting room facilities, and acting as lead and facilitator of the review
* Participate as a CM Single POC on IPTs to ensure CM is properly addressed; in conjunction with the PM, assist in the establishment of program milestones and schedules, identify and assess risks, develop WBS, form/fit/function/interface and Class I vs. II determinations; assist to ensure CM processes and procedures are adhered to
* Support CM control over all Temporary T-1 & T-2 modifications pertaining to the F -16 weapon system IAW AFI 63-131
* Maintain control over the processing of temporary configuration changes until fully coordinated and documented; provide support to schedule and facilitate modification screening panels (MSPs) and ensure proper documentation is generated and approved
* Provide support to manage requested changes to the F-16 weapon system organic change CM tool, OCM; coordinate with system administrators to develop/enhance the system to reflect process improvement changes
* Accomplish configuration audits (i.e. functional/physical), through review of technical information, discussion of technical matters related to the program/project; provide support to schedule and attend audit meetings and perform required CM to complete the audit

In this role you will report to the Director of Core Quality Services Configuration Assurance (CQS CA) and will provide overall leadership and management for the day-to-day operations and performance of CQS CA activities which may include, but is not limited to:

+ Local Data Administration of Product Numbers, Bill of Materials and Routers

As the leader of a CQS CA Team you will be responsible to ensure processing of transactions is done timely and accurately. You will actively monitor workloads, balance work, address and/or escalate issues, maintain performance to service levels, identify and recommend process or system improvements, drive toward standard processes, and work closely with peers to flex work between teams as needed.

The **Local Data Administration Function** is responsible for establishing and maintaining material numbers for raw materials, components, sub-assemblies and finished goods. This includes creating the initial part number and handling all revisions and changes to the part. Additionally, this function supports updates for BOMs and Routers often supporting both SAP and a legacy ERP System (including but not limited to QAD, BPCS, JDE).

The **Configuration Assurance for Product, Quality Systems and Quality Records Functions** is responsible for ensuring changes to product, process, quality system documents and quality records follow procedures and remain compliant to regulations and standards. This function also continuously looks for ways to improve efficiency and quality outputs within the process.

Core Quality Services (CQS) is an enterprise level function that looks to leverage Medtronics size in a shared service model for many Quality transactions.
