The Role

We are seeking talented individuals to join the Veeva Business Consulting group in R&D, a priority area for Veeva. We work with senior customer stakeholders, as the partner of choice for 85% of the top 20 Pharmaceutical companies, to define and realize the strategic value of Regulatory Affairs, Clinical Strategy & Operations as well as Quality and Safety (eg. Pharmacovigilance).

As a Senior Consultant, you will manage complex and novel consulting projects for Veeva customers in the research and development (R&D) space - managing teams and planning, organizing, and tracking all aspects of delivery. You will analyze interesting problems, build insightful solutions, and develop close working relationships with stakeholders to deliver realizable value, at the forefront of digital and R&D innovation.

Opportunities are available across Europe for this role as this is a remote position. There is no work location requirement if a candidate is in proximity to an airport and able to meet relevant travel requirements. Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to be employed in the EU (for EU locations, incl. Switzerland) and the UK (for UK-based candidates).
What You'll DoLead R&D projects as the operational face of a Veeva R&D Consulting team, with responsibility for planning, organizing, and managing all aspects of delivery including scope, quality, resources, risks, and timelines Be responsible for the end-to-end design, build, and delivery of deliverables that meet overall project goals and objectives Identify and proactively solve problems faced by the client Be a trusted client contact for strategic and operational questions, developing the relationship through face-to-face discussions, workshops, phone, and email contact Manage the work and priorities of team members on your project(s) Support and mentor Consultants and Associates in developing skills and professional capabilities Bring to clients an excellent level of industry, market, and functional insight including R&D specific challenges Proactively lead business development opportunities and proposals related to the R&D value chain Develop and disseminate thought leadership and campaigns that differentiate Veeva R&D Consulting in the market for Regulatory Affairs, Clinical Strategy & Operations as well as Quality and Safety
RequirementsBachelor's or Master's degree and excellent academic record5+ years consulting experience in an established strategic/management consulting organization Experience in Life SciencesGood understanding and deep interest in pharmaceutical R&D, having delivered consulting engagements in one or more of the following areas: Regulatory, Clinical, Quality, Safety.Good understanding of the R&D value chain and ideally Veeva's platforms/solutions and how R&D business consulting offerings can leverage and support these Good understanding of the business capabilities and drivers underpinning digital technology in health and life sciences Proven analytical skills, able to quantitatively and qualitatively assess problems and communicate responses across a range of issuesA problem-solving mindset: anticipating issues early, analyzing and proactively finding solutions Demonstrated leadership of others in the delivery of complex deliverables Highly efficient project management skills Able to work effectively with people at all levels in an organization and quickly establish credibility Have strong personal impact and ability to influence and persuade a range of stakeholders An effective communicator verbally and written, in English, and in the local office language

Some of your responsibilities day to day include:

+ Conducting market research to develop targeted business development lists

+ Cultivating close partnerships with clients - developing and delivering the best solutions for attracting candidates to ultimately help grow their business

+ Working closely with clients to manage the hiring process from interview through offer stage

WSP is currently initiating a search for a **Sr. Consultant Business Intelligence Developer** for our **Newark, NJ or Chicago, IL** office to lead and grow our Data Analytics and Business Intelligence practice supporting client projects, pursuits, and national staff throughout the U.S. The position will require experience with Microsoft Power BI report and dashboard development.

**Your Impact**

+ Be responsible for the delivery of business intelligence dashboards for projects and pursuits,

+ Utilize innovation and associated techniques to deliver beyond standard expectations in the AEC industry,

+ Use of report writing software for the development of reports, such as Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Power BI,

+ Preparation of project status reports, such as annual, monthly and ad-hoc schedule and cost reports, contract awards and construction services, critical variance etc.,

+ Supporting the system process and framework to manage design and construction,

+ Prioritization and analysis of projects within strict timelines,

+ Identification and resolution of data integrity issues,

+ Working with management and staff across the department to identify user needs,

+ Support the improvement and revision of existing reporting processes and procedures,

+ Preparation of technical & training documentation and presentations, including the identification and application of new industry reporting and data organization trends,

+ Development of high-level reports.

**Who You Are**

**Required Qualifications**

+ Minimum 2 years experience in Microsoft Power BI development

+ Minimum of 5 years experience in data analysis and reporting

+ Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Business Information Systems or related technical degree

+ Strong system analysis skills - data interpretation and explanation of condition, trends etc.

+ Excellent oral, written and communication skills

+ Strong experience with Microsoft Excel, Power BI and other data visualization tools

+ Experienced with support of project management, and financial reporting systems

+ Self-motivated with the ability to prioritize, meet deadlines, and manage changing priorities.

+ Ability to work independently and with others

+ Working experience with a large public government agency or utility is a plus

+ Exercise responsible and ethical decision-making regarding company funds, resources and conduct and adhere to WSP's Code of Conduct and related policies and procedures.

+ Proven track record of upholding workplace safety and ability to abide by WSP's health, safety and drug/alcohol and harassment policies

+ Must possess a BS in Computer Science or related technical degree
