Job Overview
The Subject Matter Expert III (UHF/MILSATCOM) will provide high-level subject matter expertise to the U.S. Coast Guard (USCG) and other customers while conducting HF / MILSATCOM Readiness Assessments, Technical Assist, and Help Desk support.
Work Model: Onsite/In-Office
Responsibilities
Essential Duties & Job Functions:
* Provide Subject Matter Expert (SME) support for UHF MILSATCOM for USCG Cutters and Shore stations.
* Assist in creating and editing job aids and training documentation as needed.
* Provide integration, installation, testing, troubleshooting, maintenance support, and technical training assistance as required.
* Knowledge and use of systems include but are not limited to:
* AN/PRC117G
* AN/PRC158
* AN/ARC-210
* AN/WSC3
* OE-82C/WSC-1
* OE-570
* NAVMACS
* Perform related work as assigned in an unsupervised, reactive, and mission-critical environment.
* Travel required to CONUS / OCONUS facilities.
Accountable For:
* Excellent oral communication skills including but not limited to customer interactions, formal and informal training, and meeting facilitation.
* Excellent written communications including but not limited to development and editing of business, operational, and technical documents, engineering changes, meeting and trip reports, Maintenance Procedures (MPC), training material, and after-action reports.

Job Requirements
Mandatory:
* U.S. Citizen.
* TOP SECRET Security Clearance.
* Valid U.S. Passport.
* 12+ years of operational and maintenance experience in shore- and shipboard-based U.S. Coast Guard (USCG) UHF MILSATCOM systems.
* Knowledge and use of USCG shipboard internal and external communications systems.
* Effective oral and written communication skills.
* Well-versed in Microsoft Office and related business software.
* Familiar with the following test equipment:

Position Summary:
The Senior Managing Trade Consultant is an integral member of the Mohawk Global Trade Advisory team (MGTA), a group of subject-matter experts who constitute the consultative arm of Mohawk's international trade business. The Senior Managing Trade Consultant provides trade compliance-related expertise and compliance project leadership to meet the needs of Mohawk's clients as well as oversite of a team of professionals supporting our clients' import and export programs. The Senior Managing Trade Consultant is passionate about leading both compliance consulting projects, a team and other related duties to ensure the highest levels of delivered services.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Team Leadership: Manage and mentor of a team of international trade professionals, fostering a collaborative environment that encourages professional growth and development.
Client Support: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to understand their trade needs and provide strategic guidance on compliance and optimization.
Project Oversight: Lead/Support and coordinate various projects, including HTS classification, compliance assessments, prior disclosures, AD/CVD, PGA support, and duty minimization initiatives.
Hands-On Support: Actively participate in project execution, providing expertise in compliance strategies, regulatory initiatives/questions and operational efficiencies.
Regulatory Compliance: Ensure that all trade and customs activities comply with applicable laws and regulations, staying abreast of changes in trade policies and procedures.

Education and Experience:
* US Customs Broker License required

MANDEX Inc. currently has a need for a Network Engineer/Subject Matter Expert (SME) II to join our team based in Charleston, SC. This position requires 60% + travel to DoD Military Treatment Facilities worldwide in support of the Defense Health Agency (DHA) LAN/WLAN upgrade/refresh project.
RESPONSIBILITES INCLUDE:
· Participate as a member of the LAN/WLAN Site Survey and Install Team.
· Survey Duties: Capture switch configurations, document existing fiber interconnects and existing network equipment data. Perform WLAN heatmap walks utilizing AirMagnet software.
· Install Duties: Independently upgrade switch IOS, Install (rack mount) and configure Layer 2/3 edge switches (Cisco 3850/9300's, Ruckus ICX-7450/7550's and Juniper EX4300's).
· Physical ability to lift and install Uninterrupted Power Supplies (UPS) and Battery Packs (70 + lbs.).
· Assist with survey design and install closeout documentation utilizing MS Excel and Visio.
EXPERIENCE:
· A minimum of four (4) years' hands-on experience configuring Layer 2/3 edge switches (Cisco, Brocade (Ruckus) or Juniper LAN and IP based switches).
· Aruba wireless experience is a plus but not required.
· Python Scripting is a plus but not required.
· Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
· Strong written/oral communication and attention-to-detail is a must.
EDUCATION:
· Security+ CE or equivalent DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification required prior to starting.
· Technical Training in LAN or WLAN Communications required.
· CCNA or other OEM vendor certification highly desired. CWNA certification is a plus.
SECURITY:
Current or recent government security clearance (Secret) required.
OTHER:
Extensive travel (60% +) required (U.S. and International).
