Director, Creative (SF - Remote, Hybrid) We are a Growth Invention company built to help the world's most ambitious brands grow faster. Operating at the intersection of technology and marketing, we create what is next by pioneering ideas, acting fast, and moving further because standing still just is not in our DNA. We are drawn to people who stay curious, move with intent, and never stop inventing. Our culture runs on three values: better together, relentlessly curious, and get sh*t done. It is how we work, how we grow, and how we make things that matter. At DEPT , you will find the freedom to explore, the space to collaborate, and the trust to make a real impact for our clients, for each other, and for the world we are helping to build. You will work as a cohesive unit to ensure the visual environment and the narrative voice are inextricably linked and mutually elevating. Distinct from one‑off installations, you will establish a robust, scalable design system for our client's stores. • Creative Director, LTX

    Lightricks

    Remote job

Job Description Lightricks is an AI-first company creating next-generation content creation technology for businesses, enterprises, and studios with a mission to bridge the gap between imagination and creation. At our core is LTX-2, an open-source generative video model, built to deliver expressive, high-fidelity video at unmatched speed. It powers both our own products and a growing ecosystem of partners through API integration. The company is also known globally for pioneering consumer creativity through products like Facetune, one of the world's most recognized creative brands, which helped introduce AI-powered visual expression to hundreds of millions of users worldwide. We combine deep research, user-first design, and end-to-end execution from concept to final render, to bring the future of expression to all. The team & role We're seeking a passionate, visionary Creative Director to lead the visual identity and brand experience of LTX. This is a unique opportunity to define how the world perceives a product that sits at the cutting edge of design and AI innovation. The ideal candidate combines deep graphic design expertise with a strong technical curiosity - someone who can translate complex technology into inspiring creative expression. You'll balance conceptual leadership with executional craft, working closely with design, research, and development teams to shape the visual storytelling of LTX and its ecosystem, including the LTX-2 model. What you will be doing As Lightricks' Creative Director, you will define the company's visual voice - shaping how LTX expresses innovation, creativity, and beauty across every touchpoint. You'll lead the creative vision that unites product, brand, and storytelling into one coherent and inspiring visual identity. Define and lead the creative direction and visual language for LTX across product, brand, and storytelling touchpoints. Establish a cohesive, evolving brand identity that reflects innovation, elegance, and creative freedom - a visual expression of the company's purpose and technology. Partner closely with product, research, and engineering teams to explore new design capabilities within the LTX-2 model and future AI-driven features - transforming technical innovation into inspiring visual expression. Stay hands-on in the creative process - designing, prototyping, and iterating on visuals that showcase the creative potential of LTX's tools. Build, mentor, and inspire a multidisciplinary creative team. Shape its culture, refine its processes, and set the standards for visual excellence across the organization. Collaborate with company leadership to align the creative vision with product strategy, long-term brand growth, and the company's broader creative mission. Your skills and experience You are an experienced creative leader with 8+ years of shaping visual identity and creative direction across digital brands, products, or storytelling platforms. You bring both the aesthetic sensitivity of a designer and the strategic clarity of a brand architect - able to translate a company's vision into a unified and inspiring visual language. You are deeply fluent in design - with impeccable taste, mastery of visual fundamentals, and a broad cultural sensibility spanning art, film, photography, graphic design, and emerging media. You set and maintain a high bar for visual excellence, inspiring others to reach it. You think systemically - building and evolving brand guidelines, creative frameworks, and scalable design systems that empower teams across disciplines while keeping the brand's voice consistent and distinct. You're technically fluent and creatively fearless - deeply curious about the intersection of design, technology, and storytelling. You understand how AI, generative design, and creative technology are reshaping the craft, and you've worked hands-on with modern design and production tools to explore what's next. You can speak the language of engineers, understand workflows, and turn technological capabilities into expressive visual directions. You're a collaborative partner to product, marketing, and leadership - able to distill complex ideas into clear, expressive creative direction that aligns teams and moves audiences. You lead by doing. You combine vision with craft, guiding others through example and pushing the boundaries of what the brand can express. Proficient in Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, and modern AI and 3D design tools. Based in New York City (or open to relocating). Why Lightricks Join a company where creativity is the core of our mission - not a department.
