The Ciena Information Security team is group of skilled professionals who share the same passion for defending against cyber criminals. Reporting to Director, Cyber Security, as a Senior Analyst, Cyber Security Customer Trust and Sales Enablement, you will focus on building trust with Ciena's customers. enabling our sales teams to tell a comprehensive security story about how Ciena is protecting ourselves and our customers from security threats. You will respond to security related questionnaires/risk assessments and/or general security inquiries for existing customers as well as prospects, keeping abreast of internal and external security risk threats and ensuring timely communication to key stakeholders. You will be responsible for building reasonable and appropriate cyber security terms for customer agreements, acting as the security SME for the review/ redlines of these agreements. Work within the cyber security team holistically to help identify key security risks, customer contractual or compliance requirements, governance needs, or other security impacts as necessary.
You will identify and drive process/tool improvements aimed at increasing operational efficiency and response time to our sales organization and customers, improving the risk posture of the organization. You will support the building of Cyber Security related collateral, such as white papers, presentations, and content libraries of security information You will work collectively within the cyber security team, as well as with other business stakeholders, to leverage updates to key project initiatives to build/ update customer facing information & collateral.

The Must Haves: Bachelor's degree in Computer science or equivalent coupled with proven experience in cyber security customer trust or equivalent. Experience with Agile principles as well as Agile tooling such as Jira, Azure Dev Ops, etc. Familiarity with cyber security industry standards and principles, such as CIA Triad, NIST Cybersecurity Framework and ISO 27001.
Proven ability to read and interpret legal language/ contract language and relay security requirements within legally reasonable and sound language. Assets: Cyber Security related certifications such as CompTIA Security+, CRISC, CISM, CISSP, or others.
Experience working within GRC Tools such as ServiceNow, HighBond, Archer, etc.
