The Business Systems Analyst is responsible for analyzing, designing, and implementing solutions to improve business processes and systems by identifying inefficiencies, streamlining workflows, and ensuring data integrity. Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Provides IT support of assigned key MRO systems with the responsibility for tracking business functionality requests for the systems, managing consultants and vendors used to support them, and working closely with company stakeholders to ensure the key systems meet evolving business needs
Ensures the company IT System Capability Request and IT Project Life Cycle Processes are executed, as designed and tracks and manages new capability requests through the processes.
Elicits project requirements from business management and end-users to ensure key IT needs within the business are met
Manages IT projects that interface with business departments, including collaborating with stakeholders to elicit project requirements, researching solutions, tracking milestones, budget, and overall project status to plan
Reviews vendor contracts with members of IT and legal, when appropriate, to ensure MRO is well positioned, performs and coordinates User Acceptance Testing with other members of the Business and IT to validate the solution meets the business needs
Creates and maintains documentation related to IT Policies and Procedures and IT controls, and tracks implementation and performance of controls
Creates and maintains user facing documentation and training of new and existing systems to support the business and administers training, as needed
Collaborates with MRO IT technical staff to ensure the appropriate security and confidentiality of information is maintained
Partners with the Electric Reliability Organization Enterprise (ERO Enterprise) member IT departments to share technology solutions to drive effectiveness and efficiency of IT operations within the organization and the extended ERO Enterprise

Qualifications, Education and Experience
Bachelor's Degree in Business, Business Analytics, Management Information Systems, or another technical area directly applicable, is required. Bachelor's Degree in another discipline and directly related experience may be considered in lieu of technical degree
A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience and/or or a combination of training and directly related experience is required
The ability to effectively communicate both orally and in writing, to both technical and non-technical audiences, and to give presentations to large groups is required
Advanced training and certifications in business analysis and project management is desirable
Experience in the development, deployment, and maintenance of key business application/systems is desirable
An understanding of business processes including experience mapping complex business processes and identifying process synergies is desirable
Project Management experience with the ability to document business requirements for management and applications providers as well as experience creating business cases that includes cost/benefit and risk-based analysis is desirable

About this position
The Data and Reporting Analyst will focus on creating, managing, and providing reports across the Ambulance Services Business Unit and other stakeholders throughout the organization as needed. Job Description
Mapjects business analyst:
In the first phase, this position is responsible for gathering and consolidating system requirements in a team environment. The Mapjects analyst will enquire and document the requirements based on client meetings, web technologies, features and determine the needed configuration settings.

Create templates and workflow documentation
Develop other project related documentation such as help content
Work closely with the client, and functional team and the Functional Lead to ensure requirements traceability throughout the project lifecycle
Required Skills
2+ years of experience with Microsoft Office
2+ years of experience performing system requirements analysis, requirements design documentation
1+ years of experience in analyzing, designing, and testing web-based applications
Must have excellent communication skills
Must be able to work both independently and as part of a team
Desired Skills
Familiarity with web-based applications
Familiarity with the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and the Waterfall or agile methodology
Familiarity with bug and change request tracking tools
Education

Responsibilities:
Act as a liaison between the Business stakeholders and the Development team members on highly visible Agile software development project
Partner with project team in creation of meaningful requirements for both general business needs and specific data needs, including Source-to-Target design documentation
Experience backlog grooming / stories. Working in Jira is a plus.
Communicate requirements effectively for use by ETL & BI Engineers and QA Test Engineers
Verify source data to be used truly supports requirements
Assist in analyzing business needs against existing data structures/strategy
Develop a strong working relationship with internal business partners to understand their needs
Participate in testing and other project work as needed
Qualifications
Experience:
5+ years working in computer science, business or engineering related field
4+ years requirements elicitation, analysis and documentation
3+ years reading logical and physical data models
3+ years working in an Agile software development environment
4+ years writing SQL queries
Ability to understand data models, data profiling, and source to target mapping.
NoSQL and big data concepts such as Hadoop is a plus
Informational understanding of relational databases
Knowledge and Skills:
Ability to documented clear and concise descriptions of data elements, codes and other data characteristics for enterprise use
Ability to articulate complex business and technical questions/needs in an easily consumable format for people at different levels in the organization
User story and requirements analysis background
Ability to organize and conduct effective meetings
Excellent written and spoken communication skills
Team player who actively collaborates
Familiarity with XML schema design is a plus
Familiarity with SOA and Canonical model design is a plus
