The Senior Data Analyst, Internal Audit IT will work within the IT Internal Audit team to pull, test, and analyze key systems and tools data. The ideal candidate will be capable of measuring system and model performance, conduct data analysis to test the design and operational effectiveness of key Information Technology (IT) and security controls, and perform comprehensive testing of system changes. This role requires a deep understanding of SQL and Snowflake, data ETL processes, as well as the ability to build metrics and reports to support internal audit activities. The ideal candidate will work highly independently, identifying creative solutions to test complex data sets and data flows, and generating accurate data extracts and reports that will support the internal audit team in their control testing. In addition, the candidate should possess a working knowledge of IT audit principles and practices, with the ability to apply them in a data-intensive environment. *What you'll be doing (ie. job duties):* * *Data Analysis for IT and Security Control Testing:* * Perform in-depth data analysis to assess the design and operational effectiveness of key IT and security controls via writing complex, yet efficient and reusable SQL code. * Identify potential areas of risk and provide recommendations for improvement. * *System/Model Change Testing:* * Conduct detailed testing of system or model changes to validate their impact and ensure they meet compliance and performance requirements. * Document and communicate the results of testing to relevant stakeholders. * *Independent and Creative Problem-Solving:* * Work highly independently, identifying and implementing creative solutions to test complex data sets and data flows. * Proactively seek out and address challenges in data testing and analysis, ensuring robust and reliable results. * *Complex Data Extracts and Reports:* * Produce data extracts and reports via SQL from a variety of sources that will support the internal audit team in their control testing. * Translate vague and complex data requests into clear and actionable requirements. * Ensure data exports are accurate, comprehensive, and aligned with audit requirements. * *ETL Process Testing:* * Test data ETL (extraction, transformation and load) from upstream production systems into the data repository, and from the data repository into the Enterprise Tools. * Validate data completeness and accuracy during ETL process. * *Develop and Improve Metrics and Dashboards:* * Design, develop, and enhance metrics and dashboards to measure the performance of various systems within the organization. * Ensure that metrics and dashboards provide actionable insights for the Internal Audit team. *What we look for in you (ie. job requirements):* * 4+ years of technology experience in a data analytics role at a technology, consulting, financial institution, or a financial technology firm. * Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field; Master's degree preferred. * Excellent analytical skills; strong SQL, Snowflake, and data visualization skills. * Understanding of IT operations, IT and security infrastructure, cybersecurity program, operationalization of enterprise technology stacks, etc. * Knowledge of software development life cycle (SDLC): requirements development, system design, development, testing and production launch. * Ability to optimally collaborate in a cross-functional environment and under minimal direction. * Strong communication skills, both verbal and written. *Nice to haves:* * Experience with Model Validations and Regulatory Examinations. * Experience with GitHub and DevOps tools. * Programming experience in Python. * Knowledge of data visualization tools like Looker, Superset, Tableau. * Experience in the financial services industry or a highly regulated environment. * Knowledge of cryptocurrency.     The RCO Revenue Integrity Analyst II is responsible for appropriate charge capture, assigned account, claim edits and/or charge edits for an assigned service line.
