Requirements
5+ years of experience in Information Security, Business Systems Analysis, or a related field.
Strong proficiency in Excel, Python, and Java for data analysis and automation.
Knowledge of learning management systems (LMS) and training delivery platforms is highly desirable.
Proven ability to apply technology solutions to business challenges, especially in learning and development contexts.
Experience with business process redesign and systems integration projects.

Raytheon has an immediate opening for temporary Technical Publications Senior Analyst. This role will support challenging product support. This position will have emphasis on supporting the development of the technical manuals developed by the IPT. These Technical Manuals include updates to baseline equipment and development of new technical data for upgraded equipment. This is a dynamic team in a fast-paced environment, candidates will be expected to be able to work comfortably and confidently in that type of environment. This position will be onsite in San Diego, CA.
What You Will Do
* Writing / Editing technical documentation for the operation and maintenance of various systems of equipment in an xml database
* Develop written maintenance procedures with detailed instructions for the removal, installation and configuration of hardware, and develop enhancements to the instructions to improve its effectiveness.
* Review source data including but not limited to engineering drawings, parts lists, vendor data, technical manuals, rework instructions, change notices
* Working independently with general instructions on technical publications or other related assignments
* Work to standard of Program Style Guide
* Provide accurate and detailed status of progress on work assignments
* Engage with other IPT members to support needs of team
Qualifications You Must Have
* Typically requires: A University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 2 years of prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field.
* Experience with technical writing and Interactive Electronic Technical Manuals (IETMs)
* Experience developing documents using SGML, XML, HTML or other mark-up languages in a military or civilian environment
* Experience with MS Office products including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, as well as Adobe Suite of products including Acrobat.

* Experience using publication content management systems and developing modularized content
